Charlotte Mary (MacIntyre) Gorman

Gorman, Charlotte Mary, 76, Boutilier's Point, Halifax County, NS, passed away Friday, August 22nd 2003. Born in Campbellton, NB, she was the daughter of the late William and Eliza (Comley) MacIntyre. Charlotte was a loving wife, grandmother and great -grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all. She loved animals and was an avid gardener. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, sewing, playing piano, fiddle and guitar.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, John Beatty; sons John of Ingonish, NS., Richard and Gilbert both of Halifax; Reginald of Antigonish; Timothy of Boutilier's Point; daughters Dale (Claude) Crews of Queensland; Cheryl (Chris) Fader of Hampton, NB; Kathleen (Darryl) Boutilier of Dartmouth; brothers Wallace (Edith) and Kenneth both of Campbellton; 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, James; infant granddaughter, Sarrah; brother Gilbert, sisters June and Doreen.

Lawrence Charles McNaughton

Passed away on Wednesday, August 27th 2003 at Brantford General Hospital surrounded by family and friends, Larry McNaughton of Brantford Ontario in his 48th year.

Beloved husband of Susan and loving father of Ashley and Casey. Dear brother of Michael, Patrick, Terrence (Lynn), James (Leitte), Robin Cooper (Larry), Ruth Moores (Allen), Kevin (Patsy), Robert, Shelly, Tracey Gliden (Mathew), Carol McNaughton (Ricky), Kimberly, Barry and Danny (Maria). Companion to Brenda. He will be dearly missed by family, friends and many nieces and nephews.

Ruby Mary Dickie Boyd

Boyd, Ruby Mary Dickie, passed away, peacefully, on July 21st 2003, at her home in Brampton Ontario at the age of 56.

Ruby fought a one-year battle with cancer and demonstrated her strength, bravery and compassion throughout this struggle. Born in Benjamin River NB, Ruby later resided in Edmonton, Long Branch, and Brampton.

She was the beloved wife of Al Boyd, cherished mother of Angela McPhee and her husband Bernard of Edmonton, loving daughter of Jessie Dickie of Benjamin River NB, dear sister of Dalton and wife Shirley, Chester and wife Linda, Audrey and husband Gary and Bernice of Guelph, John and wife Betsy of Kitchner, Dora and Husband Marven of Sudbury, Joyce and husband Gerald of Black Point NB, loved grandmother of Michael and Cameron McPhee, and also lovingly remembered by her step-children Karen, Kevin and Travis of Ontario and step-grandchildren.

Ruby was predeceased by her father Fred Dickie (1959) of NB and her brother Michael (1977) of Guelph.

The family received friends and relatives at the Ward Funeral Home in Brampton on July 23rd 2003.
