Jason David Jean

The death of Jason David Jean, a student who lived at 51 Maillet St., Eel River Crossing occurred accidentally in Balmoral on September 12, 2003 at the age of 18 years.

Born in Dalhousie on February 26, 1985 he was the son of David Jean of Eel River Crossing, sister Kelly Jean of Dalhousie, his grandparents on his mother's side, Lionel and Fernande Lavallee of Eel River Crossing as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Albert Lanteigne

The death of Albert Lanteigne of 303 Birch Grove, Dalhousie occurred at St. Joseph Hospital on September 16, 2003 at the age of 94 years.

Born in Tracadie on April 22, 1909 he was the son of the late Cerenus Lanteigne and the late Cecile Brideau, he was employed by NBIP for 38 years and was a member of Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his daughter Rose (Wendell) of Dalhousie, sons Leonard (Donna) of Balmoral, Alfred of Campbellton, Gerald of Bathurst, Jean "JoJo" of Quebec, Micheal of Dalhousie and Daniel (Donna) of Ontario, sisters Marianne and Helene of Tracadie-Sheila and Celia of St. John, brothers Ernest, Alex and Tony, all of Miramichi. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Albert was predeceased by his parents, his wife, two sons Paul and Claude, one sister Josephine and two brothers Joe and Fred.

Luc Senechal

The death of Luc Senechal of 80 Savoie St., Balmoral occurred accidentally in Balmoral on September 12, 2003 at the age of 26 years.

Born in Dalhousie on May 21, 1977 he was the son of Maurice Senechal and Irene Diotte. Luc worked as a mechanic and a forester.

He is survived by his friend Mireille Drapeau of Dalhousie, parents, Maurice and Irene Senechal of Balmoral, brothers Ariel and Abel of Balmoral, his grand fatherLionel Diotte of Balmoral and Rita Senechal of Balmoral.

Joseph Louis Phillip Germain

The death of Joseph Louis Phillip Germain of Lisuguj, Que. , occurred in Listiguj on September 15, 2003 aat the age of 54.

Born in Listuguj on July 4, 1949, he was the son of the late Thomas (Tom) Germain and the late Lilly Paul. Joseph worked as an iron worder and carpenter for 30 years and enjoyed woodworking nad cabinet making.

He is survived by his wife Lynn Bujold of Listuguj, his daughters Melanie Germain of Nashwa, New Hampshire, Danielle Barnaby of Listuguj and Mary Joe Isaac of Listuguj, step-daughter Christine Bujold of Listuguj, son Matthew Germain of Listuguj, sisters Rita Germain and Madeline Dovauo, both of Listuguj, brothers Donnie and John Germain, both of Listuguj. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Donna Flynn, Shelley Germain, Curt Germain, Tara Lynn Rioux-Germain and Ashley Barnaby.

Lawrence Basque Sr.

The death of Lawrence Basque Sr., of 20 Gaspe Highway in Listuguj occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on September 15, 2003 at the age of 66 years.

Born in Listuguj on June 29, 1937 he was the son of the late Daniel Basque and the late Lucy Vicaire. Lawrence worked as a wood craftsman.

He is survived by his wife Eleanor Gedeon, daughter Susan, sons Lawrence Jr., Timothy, Richard and Jeffrey, sisters Lucy and Elizabeth and brothers David, Leo and Frank. He is also survived by his grandchildren Gawl, Keaton, Sky and Casey Metallic, Steven, Erik and Charles Basque and step Granddaughter Joanah Germain.

Ronald Cook

Tuesday, September 2, 2003, at the age of 67. Beloved husband of Agnes. Loving father of Lorraine (Marc Moncion), Robert and Charles (Robin Elliot), Cherished grandfather of Martin, Nicolas and Alex. Dear brother of Muriel, Myrtle, Ruby, Margaret-Rose, Roland and Kathleen.

Predeceased by son Michael.

Thomas Godin

The death of Thomas Godin of Lorne occurred Friday, September 12, 2003 at St Joseph Hospital at the age of 86.

Born in Lorne, he was the son of the late Paul Godin and Bertha Lapointe.

He is survied by his wife Ella, sons George (Diane) of Stanley, N.B., Levio of Harvey, N.B. Kenneth (Shirley) of Lorne, Ivan (Sandra) of Noel Settlement, Preston (Catherine) of Green Point, daughters Leona Carrier (Fred) of Lorne, Susan Parent (regis) of Dalhousie, Ines Godin (eric) of Lorne, 25 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parens, his brothers Arthur, Mike and Delphus and his sisters Theresa, Violet and Irene.
