Roberta Jean Cyr
1940 - 2010

At the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Monday, March 29, 2010 at the age of 69, passed away Mrs. Roberta Jean Cyr of Campbellton, wife of Rev. John Cyr.

She was the daughter of the late Vernon Selman and late Opal Wilson. She will be sadly missed by her husband, Rev. John Cyr of Campbellton; her children: Shirley of Salisbury, Cheryl of British Columbia, Normand Jay (Carmen) of Texas, Kim of Harcourt, Wayne of Oklahoma, Richard (Regina) of Oklahoma, Tim (Alice) of Moncton, Brenda Lee (Normand) of Campbellton, Michael (Francine) of Moncton, Rodney (Carol) of Dieppe and Eric (Vicky) of Roth sea; her many grandchildren and great grandchildren; her sister Donna of Texas and her brother Leroy (Martha) of Washington.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and friends.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 11 am in Savoie Funeral Chapel, Campbellton and will be officiate by Reverend Steven McLean of Moncton with burial in the Campbellton Rural Cemetery later in the spring.

Kurtis Lee LaBillois

In Loving Memory of Kurtis Lee LaBillois a proud Mi'kmaq of Eel River Bar First Nation passed away on March 27th, 2010 at the age of 26.

Lee is survived by his parents Velma (LaBillois), Tom Petersen, Gerald Caplin, his three sisters; Brittany, Alishia and Trisha.

He leaves his maternal grandparents; Margaret and (Michael deceased) LaBillois his paternal grandparents; Joan and (Ralph deceased) Caplin, along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A dedicated teammate on the Eel River Bar men's softball and hockey team who had a lot of loving and teasing to give with a laugh that could be recognized anywhere.

The funeral mass was held from St. John Bosco Church Dalhousie on Wednesday, March 31. Father Bill Arseneault officiating. Interment at the St. John Baptist Cemetery this spring.

Eunice Leclair (Lagace)

Eunice Leclair (Lagace) widow of the late Omer Leclair passed away peacefully at the Dalhousie Nursing Home Thursday, March 18th at the age of 77.

A devoted wife and loving mother of 6, Brian Leclair, Claude Leclair, Maurice Leclair, Nicole Harquail (predeceased), Rachel Leclair and Therese Fontaine. She is also survived by ten wonderful grand- children, five brothers and sisters Theo Lagace, Mae Lawlor, Charlene Shannon, Norma Jean Theriault, Yvon Lagace, Jackie Lagace (predeceased), Leona Lagace (predeceased as a child). Also, predeceased by her parents Albert Lagace and Marie Agnes Lapointe (Lagace).

A Memorial service was held on March 22nd at the St-Jean Baptiste Church in Dalhousie, NB. She will be deeply missed.

Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Dalhousie, NB.

Pierre Roy
1951 - 2010

Passed away at his residence on March 27, 2010 at the age of 59, Mr. Pierre Roy of Atholville.

Born in Campbellton on March 26, 1951, he was the son of the late Delphis Roy and the late Georgina Salesse.

He leaves to mourn two brothers Rheal (Marguerite) of Edmundston and Donald (Mary) of Atholville, two sisters Irene Landry (late Rodolphe) from Bathurst and Claudette (Egbert) from Atholville. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his father Delphis, his mother Georgina and his brother Roland all from Atholville.

The funeral mass was held from Our Lady of Lourdes Church Atholville on Tuesday, March 30th at 4pm. Father Romeo Morrison officiating. Interment at the Parish Cemetery this spring. Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.
