Elizabeth (Patsy) Bradstreet-Dedam
Dedam-Bradstreet, Elizabeth (Patsy) - 74, of Listuguj, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 4th, 2003, at the Campbellton Regional Hospital. Born in Eel River bar, N.B. on January 13, 1929.
She is survived by her sister Lillian Wilmot, Campbellton; bother Joseph Dedam, Atholville; daughters, Mary (Howard) Bradstreet-Metallic, Molly (Sam) Barnaby of Listuguj, Nancy Bradstreet of Gesgapesiac, son Randall Bradstreet of Listuguj, stepdaughters, Eva (Marcel) Jacque of Listuguj and Doreen Sark of Eel ground, N.B.
Survived by her grandchildren, Stephan, Brent, Jamie, Stacey, lee, Charlton, Victor, Jonathan, Mackenzie, James, Spencer; Fraser, Samantha, Tanya, Derek, Joshua, Patrick, Evelyn, Jake and Orenda; as well as, her many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the daughter of the late Stephen and Elizabeth Bella (Caplin) Dedam. Predeceased by her husband William, and her daughters Carolyn and Evelyn, sisters Lena and Christine and brother Norman.
Catherine Brown
The death of Catherine Brown of Belledune occurred on Oct 30, 2003 at the Bathurst Regional Hospital at the age of 68. Born in Trenton, N.S. she was the daughter of the late Hugh Burns and Anna Belle (Dunn)
She is survived by her children Donna Marie Landry (Jean Paul) of Georgia, U.S.A., Flo Guitard (Emile) of Belledune, Lois Gillespie (Dewey) of Miramichi, Larry (Louise) of South Tetagouche, John Hugh (Dorina) of Oromocto, Ronald William (Furface the cat) of Bathurst, 18 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, bothers Nelson of Trenton of N.S., Trenton of Ardness N.S. and sister Agnes Leon of Sydney, N.S.
She was predeceased by her husband Gerald Murphy Brown, her parents, her brother Jim, Ronald, and Elmer Burns, her sisters Cecilia Burns, Mary Burns, Annie Davenport Scott and Elva Hennessey.
Hazel Mundle
The death of Hazel Mundle of 126 Landsdowne St., Campbellton, occurred in Campbellton on November 6, 2003 at the age of 84.
Born in Campbellton on February 22, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Brown and the late Mary MacArthur.
She is survived by her husband Lorne Mundle; daughters Susan (Willie) Hamilton, Mollie (Allan) Arpin, Patsy (Gary) Parker and Sandra (Derek) Purcell; sons Wayne (Wendy) and Mike (Michelle); one sister Catherine (Kerwin) Wood, 19 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son Keith; and her brothers Herb and Raymond.
Melvin Edmund (Sonny) Savoie
Melvin Edmund (Sonny) Savoie of Thompson, Manitoba and formerly of Campbellton, passed away at the Health Center Winnipeg, Manitoba. Born in Riverside, Albert CO., N.B. on June 14, 1951, he was the son of the late Benoit J. Savoie and the late Marielle Louden. He was an electrician for Inco in Thompson, Manitoba for 29 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, was involved in curling, fishing, golfing, swimming, pool league, stamp collector who had an interest in music.
He was survived by his sisters Shirley (Joe) LeBlanc of Halifax, N.S. Kathleen (David) MacDonald of Fredericton and Muriel Savoie Willett of Broadlands, Que. He is also survived by his aunt Hilda Louden whom visited frequently on his return trips to New Brunswick, niece Kim, nephews Brian, Christopher, James and Geoffrey; several aunts, uncles, great nieces and nephews.
Philip Chester Jones
The death of Philip Chester Jones of Upsalquitch occurred at the Bathurst Hospital on November 2, 2003 at the age of 59.
Born in Campbellton on December 6, 1943 he was the son of the late Chester Jones and the late Marguerite Thomas.
Phillip was a volunteer with the Robinsonville/Upsalquitch fire department.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Jones (nee Lean) of Upsalquitch; daughters Deanna (Ken) Sabatie, Laurie-Ann (Craig) Nichol, and Sherri Jones (Ken Moore) all of Winnipeg; sisters Charlotte Borden and Iris Henniger both of Upsalquitch; grandchildren Mila, Michael, Brittany, Jonathan, Nathan, Hannah, Sideen and Riley.
He was predeceased by his parents Chester and Marguerite Jones; a brother John Jones; a sister Frances Williams; a son Randy Jones; and granddaughter Amanda Mentuck.
Queenie Joanne Cheeser
The death of Queenie Johanne Cheeser of Mann's Mountain occurred at the Village Nursing home, Campbellton, at the age of 89 years.
Born in Matapedia, Quebec on December 7, 1913 she was the daughter of the late Octave Gallant and the late Clara Adams. She was also a past president of the C.W.L for St. Anthony's Parish. She was also a past county president of Matapedia W.I. and the first chairperson of Mann's Mountain Service district.
She is survived by her daughters Charlotte (Vernon) Englehart of Cranbrook, B.C. and Patti Daniels of Fredericton, N.B.; her son Bill (Lucille) of Mann's Mountain; as well as 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband pat; two daughters Margaret and Jeanne (infant daughter); four sons Bud, Bob, Jay and Terry (infant son); and one granddaughter Kelly.
