Germaine Loubert
The death of Germaine Loubert, formerly of Campbellton, N.B. occurred in Cobourg, Ontario at the age of 91 years. She was the daughter of the late George Poirier and Emma Lavoie. She is survived by her husband Leonard Loubert; one son Herald (Bonnie); two daughters Gertrude St. Onge of Nouvelle, Quebec and Rachel Larouche of Arvida, Quebec; and one brother Gerald (Helen) Poirier of Atholville, as well as several grandchildren.
Ferlatte Claude
Ferlatte, Claude- (Past Grand Knight, Good Shepard Council No. 8340, Thornhill, and current member of Marian Council No. 3881). With tremendous sadness and loss, we announce the death of our dearly loved husband, father and grandfather, Claude, at Hamilton's Henderson general Hospital (Ward 395) on Tuesday, December 2, 2003, of complications due to Lupus and Cancer.
Born in May 1933, in Dalhousie, New Brunswick to the late Jean C. Ferlatte and Yvonne Labelle; he was predeceased by brothers, Gilles, Guy and Roland (Mary-Lou). He leaves to mourn two sisters, Mrs. Jeannie Latreille (Réal) of Huntingdon, Que, Mrs. Marielle Savoie (Gilbert) of St. Jacques, N.B.; three brothers, Pierre of Dalhousie, N.B.; Gilles of Longueuil, Quebec and Réal of Moncton, N.B.
Joseph Charles Claude came to Toronto as a young man, where he met his "girl", his beloved wife Anne (nee Fitzpatrick) with whom he spent forty-six wonderfull years of marriage. A tirelessly devoted dad to Yvonne (Glenn Locke) of Oakville and Jacqueline (Malcolm Gurley) of Ajax. A proud, doting, devoted, "Papa" to Dianna, Angela, Brandon, and John Gurley; Sarah and Yvonne (Vonnie) Locke. Claude leaves many family and friends from Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island to mourn and miss his warmth and kindness.
Claude was a peace living, talented, sweet gentleman with deep faith and deep loyalties who devoted himself to those in need, both in North York, his home of many years, and Oakville where he and Anne decided to retire. Our thanks to many caregivers from Oakville and Hamilton devoted to Dad's needs at his difficult time.
Donations reflecting Claude's love of animals and people may be made to your local SPCA, Catholic Missions in Canada, War Amps of Canada or the Juravinski Cancer Center in Hamilton.
Glennis Wanda MacNaughton
The death of Glennis Wanda MacNaughton of Matapedia, Quebec, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on December 12, 2003 at the age of 60 years.
Born in Mann's Settlement, Quebec, on January 10, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Lionel Irvine and Margaret Mann.
She is survived by her mother Margaret Irvine; daughter Ann MacNaughton of Moncton, N.B.; sons Bryan (Kathy) of Tide head, N.B., Thomas (Wendy) of Tide Head, Brad (Linda) of Moore's Settlement, Quebec and David of Matapedia; sisters Zelda Moores, Debbie Irvine and Lois LeBoeuf; brothers Gary Irvine, Jarvis Irvine, Bertie Irvine, Lewis Irvine, Deering Irvine and Vaughn Irvine. She is also survived by her grandchildren Tyler Macnaughton, Allison Macnaughton and Mathew Macnaughton.
She was predeceased by her husband Herbert, father Lionel Irvine and sister Audith Boddle.
Yolande Dubé Poirier
The death of Yolande Dubé Poirier of the CLSC Malauze occurred there on November 20, 2003 at the age of 81 years. She was born in Restigouche on February 26, 1922.
She is survived by her daughters Monique (Maynard), Suzanne, and Nicole (Francis); sons Jacques and Michel (Pierette); sister Jeannine (Jean); brothers Paul, Gerald, Charles (Claudette), Roland (Therese) and Roger (Diane); grandchildren Gail and Jill St. Laurent, Nancy, Gilles and Cindy Poirier; great grandchildren Samantha, Amelie, Gabriel, Dominic, Brandon, Megan and Francis.
She was predeceased by her husband Gilles Poirier on September 14, 1966.
