Clarence David Boutilier
The death of Clarence David Boutilier, resident of 6 Stanley St., Campbellton, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on March 28, 2005, at the age of 76.
Born in Campbellton on September 12, 1928, he was the son of the late Clarence Boutilier and Alberta Boutilier. Clarence was employed with Ford as a general foreman.
Surviving him is his mother Alberta Boutilier, daughters Lynn Boutilier of Hamilton Ontario and Susan Sklepowiez of Hamilton, Ontario, and son David Boutilier of Edmonton, Alberta.
Interment will be in the Campbellton Rural Cemetery.
Doris Trites
Doris Christine Trites, aged 82, of Dartmouth passed away March 29, 2005.
Doris was recently predeceased by her much loved son Gary. Also her parents C. Sherrar (Sarah Jane Innes) of Dalhousie, NB and a brother Roland Sherar of Campbellton. She is survived by her husband Clifford, son Rick (Karen) and brother Michael Sherar all of Halifax. Doris was an employee of K-Mart for over 20 years and will be remembered as the congenial lady at the service desk. She loved her fellow employees, and her greatest joy was in meeting people. To Doris all were equal in stature and she treated all with the utmost respect. Doris had a true love of flowers. She always looked forward to the cultivation of her flower garden. In addition she was especially fond of African Violets. The family wishses to thank the I.C.U. at the Dartmouth General Hospital for their professional care.
Mildred Allene Petersen
Mildred Allene Petersen (nee Austin) was born November 20, 1915 in Musquash, NB., passed away March 26, 2005 in Calgary Alberta. Mildred was predeceased by her husband, William Edgar Petersen; her daughter Phyllis and her grandson, John. Mum is survived by four daughters Pam Petersen (Tom Graves) Radium Hot Springs, BC; Carole O'Flaherty (Gerry), Calgary, Alberta, Mary Leigh Petersen (Steve Mitchell), Lawrencetown, NS and Chris Petersen (Dennis), Calgary. Nannie also leaves behind eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Mum arrived in Calgary in 2002 after her 86 years in Maritimes to be with her devoted daughter, Chris, the only one who could keep up with her. Mum touched many in her 89 years.
"You can take the girl out of the Maritimes but you can't take the Maritimes out of the girl."
In the west, a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Saint Anthony's Catholic Church in Calgary Alberta and in the east, a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Saint John Bosco Catholic Church in Dalhousie on April 12, 2005 at 7 PM.
