Ronald William Bujold
The death of Ronald William Bujold of Campbellton occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on October 21, 2001.
He was born in Atholville on October 27, 1933 to the late Edmond Bujold and Ethel Hackett
and had been a school bus driver for 10 years.
He is survived by his wife, Christina Connors of Campbellton, daughters Molly (Allan) McLaughlin and Kelly (Mark) Savoy, both of Campbellton, son Brian (Cheryl) Bujold, sisters Bernice Soucy of Matapedia and Myrna Brown of Ontario, brother Allan Bujold of Pointe-à-la-Croix, grandchildren Cole Bujold, Brad Bujold, Megan McLaughlin, Sarah Savoy and by several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Edmond and Ethel, one son Jerry, one brother, Gerald and a nephew Bobby Bujold.
David A. Marquis
The death of David A. Marquis of Ottawa occurred in Ottawa on October 11, 2001.
He was born in Campbellton on January 15, 1922 to the late Estella (MacKenzie) and Walter Marquis.
He had lived a long time in Campbellton and was retired from the Royal Canadian Air Force.
He is survived by his wife Margaret (Maher) and sons Walter of Toronto and Andrew of Ottawa.
Richard (Dido) Shalala
The death of Richard (Dido) Shalala of 42 Dover Street, Cambpellton, occurred in Campbellton October 22, 2001 at the age of 82.
He was born in Campbellton to Sophie Michael and Haid Petros.
He was employed as an electrician for the City of Campbellton, an operator for Department of Transportation and with the Corps of Commissionaires.
He was a member of the R.C.A.F. Veteran Association and Legion branch 19. During the Second World War he served in England as a wireless air gunner and served in Canada as well.
He was predeceased by his parents, his sisters Elizabeth,
Mossie, Minnie, Alice, Rose and Lillian, his brothers Jimmy, Peter, John and Fred,
several nieces and nephews throughout New Brunswick, Campbellton, Moncton, Shediac, Fredericton adn the U.S. Dido was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Marion Hamilton
The death of Marion Hamilton of Toronto, and formerly of Charlo, occurred at Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto, on October 23, 2001 at the age of 87.
She was born in Dalhousie to the late William (W.A.) Hamilton and Margaret Lena (Miller)
She was predeceased by her parents and brother Lloyd and survived by a sister, Gertrude Jamieson (Kenneth) of Bathurst, a brother, Maxwell
(Ida) of Germany, a niece and two nephews.
Fernando Giroux
The death of Mr. Fernando Giroux of Charlo, husband of Lauretta (Desrosiers) Giroux, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on October 23, 2001.
Born in Dalhousie, he was the son of the late Amedee and Almina Giroux.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, Emile (Nicole) of Montreal and Claude (Jacqueline) of Petit Rocher, two daughters, Beth Kelly of Grand Bay-Westfield and Gisele (Francis ) Corrigan of Charlo, one brother, Roland (Shirley) Giroux of Toronto, two sisters, Betty (Victor) Wauthier of British Columbia and Viviane (John) Edwards of Fredericton and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two sisters Jackie Kiley and Dora Haus.
Marilda Joncas Dionne
The death of Marilda Joncas Dionne of Jacquet River occurred at her residence on October 21, 2001 at the age of 63.
She was born in Jacquet River to the late Manuel Joncas and Lena (Guitard). She was a member of the St Gabriel's Church Choir, a member of the Jacquet River CWL and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary branch 77 Jacquet River Legion.
She is survived by Earl Hickey of Jacquet River, daughter Phyllis of Timmons, Ontario,+
son Matthew of Moncton, sisters Claudette of Bathurst and Evelina (Merlin) Moriarity of
Jacquet River and brothers Lionel (Lauralee) and Ronald (Ann) both of Jacquet River.
Joseph Wayne LeBoeuf
Entered his eternal home peacefully but suddenly on September 17, 2001 at the age of 67 years.
Beloved and cherished husband of Lily Hughes, devoted and loved brother of Marlene (Len)
LeBoeuf of Laval, Viola (Bill) Durette of Campbellton, Burke (Alice), Paul (Maureen), Jean
(Linda), Roger (Bea) all of Alberta and Chester (Jean) of Ontario, beloved brother-in-law of
James (Lillian) Hughes and uncle to Coleen, all of Toronto, caring and loving uncle to his
many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly, he had a special spot for "his girls". He is also survived by extended family, the McFee's.
He was predeceased by his parents Anna and Vincent LeBoeuf, sister Shirley and brothers Rene and Vernon.
A respected teacher, retiring from the Mount Royal Catholic high school in 1990.
He will be lovingly remembered by dear friends far and near as a man of gentleness and compassion.
