Ada Louise Payne

The death of Ada Louise Payne of 330 Chaleur Charlo St., Charlo, occurred at the St. Joseph Hospital on March 10th 2004, at the age of 90

Born in Campbellton on may 17th 1913, she was the daughter of the late Malcom Pratt and the late Sarah Barclay

She is survived by her daughter Lois (Gordie) Gallie of Dalhousie, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren

She was predeceased by her husband Whitney J Payne

Willard Carrier

The death of Willard Carrier of Lorne, occurred on March 26th 2004 at the age of 69

Born in Dalhousie, he was the son Ida Godin and the late Patrick Carrier

He is survived by his mother Ida, wife Doris, two sons Gerald (Carol Ann) of Lorne, Perry (Patsy) of Jacquet River, four daughters Christine Carrier of Eel River, Debbie Carrier (Edward Degrechie) of Nash Creek, Marsha Carrier (Eugene LaPointe) of Lorne, Colleen Carrier (Richard Hickey) of Lorne, three sisters Rita Mallaley, Muriel Godin, Leona Carrier, brothers George, Harold, 13 grandchildren and four great grandchildren

He was predeceased by his father Patrick, brothers Joseph David Roy, Percy, sister Bella

Irma MacNair

The death of Irma MacNair of 50 Chaleur St., Charlo, occurred on March 31st 2004 at the age of 72

Born in Eel River Crossing on August 4th 1931 she was the daughter of the William Burris and the late Marie Despontin.

She is survived by her husband Chester MacNair of Charlo, daughters Sharon Hocquard (Charles) of Victoria B.C. and Sandra MacNair of Charlo, son Gordon MacNair (Karen) of Quispamsis N.B., sisters Simonne Stensch of Montreal, Irene Pioroer of Charlo, and Carole Burden of Nfld, and brother Arnold Burris of Eel River Crossing. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Stephen, Kevin, and Carolyn Hocquard, Christopher MacNair and Karen MacNair Trecartin as well as seven great grandchildren

Henry Boudreau

The death of Henry Boudreau of 370 Restigouche Drive, Tide Head occurred at his residence on March 26th 2004 at the age of 76

Born in L'Alverne Quebec, on April 14th 1927, he was the son of the late Stanley Boudreau and the late Cecil Bujold

He is survived by his wife Simonne Boudreau, daughters Thelma (John) McCordie, and Shirley (Dave) Helen, sons Calvin (Judy), Stanley (Karen), and Benson (Colleen), sisters Rena, Viola, Suzanne and Beatrice and brother Roger: He is also survived by his grandchildren Tamara-Lynn, Mealnie, Lyle, Nikita, Atikin, Alex, Kyrie, Caliegh, Michelle and Alyssa

He was predeceased by his first wife Gwen Townsend, his parents, one son Byron and two brothers Harold and Gilbert

Kevin Nathaniel Firth

Kevin passed peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital, Edmonton Alberta, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

He was born and completed High School in Campbellton, and lived in Kedgwick River and Robinsonville River and Restigouche Rivers. Kevin loved and respected the great outdoors and remained an avid fisherman and hunter throughout his life. He lived and worked as a welder in Alberta and Newfoundland where he continued to make new friends and find new fishing adventures, but his heart remained loyal to his roots in Restigouche County

He was predeceased by his father, Calvin Firth in 1981 and his mother Geraldine Firth (nee Thomas), in 2002. He leaves to mourn his beloved daughters Josie and Samantha Firth (Manitoba), his grandsons Giovanni and Jayden and granddaughter Justice. Also left to grieve loss is sister Sheila Harris (Bob Homme), Calgary, eldest brother Terry Firth, Edmonton, youngest brother Gregory Firth, Steller, nephews Aaron Harris, Mark, Derrick and Jonathan Firth, niece Neile Harris, his loyal companion, Marie Goulding and his pal Mitchell and family. He will be mourned and remembered also by his uncle Thomas, aunts Helen Roy and Norena Firth, their families, and his many relatives and friends throughout Canada

Joseph Theriault

The death of Joseph Roland Theriault of 18 Savoie St., Eel River Crossing, occurred at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital in Moncton on April 1st 2004 at the age of 71

Born in St-John NB., he was the son of the late Emile Theriault and the late Yvonne Talbot. Joseph was employed as a union representative

He is survived by his wife Ida Theriault (nee Maltais), mother-in-law Winnifred Theriault, daughters Nicole of Eel River Crossing, Rosalie (Serge) Imbeault of Eel River Crossing, and Joanne Theriault (Gilles Drapeau) of Balmoral, son Julien (Sally), sisters Marcelle, Suzanne, Nicole and Collette, brothers Rejean, Regis, and Stephane, grandchildren Melissa, Annik, Karine, and Jessica

He was predeceased by his parents, brother Michel and son-in-law Roger LeBlanc

Theresa Maltais

On March 30th 2004 passed away at the Dalhousie Nursing Home at the age of 74 years, Mrs. Theresa Maltais, wife of the late Gilles Maltais of Campbellton

Born August 8th 1929, she was the daughter of of the late Pierre Guitard and the late Malvina Aubut

She is survived by her children Mrs. Denise Maltais Gartung of Campbellton, Denis Maltais of Campbellton, sisters and brothers Roger Guitard of Atholville, Rose Gallant of St. Arthur, Lionel Guitard of Campbellton, and Victorine Guitard of Campbellton
