The death of Mr. Hector Paradis of Pointe a la Croix occurred on April 13, 2006 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 75.

Born in Ste Florence, QC, on May 25th, 1930, he is the son of the late Mathias Paradis and the late Adeline Joncas.

He is survived by his wife Mrs. Rose McDavid-Paradis, one daughter Marlene Paradis of Pointe a la Croix; his sisters Roseanne (Wilbrod) Olscamp, Stoney Creek, Ontario; Gabriella (Paul) Klenin, Stoney Creek, Ontario; Rita (Leon) Carter, Plattsburg, New York; his brothers: Maurice Paradis, Quebec, Gerald Paradis, Montreal, Marcel (Darlene) Paradis, Plattsburg, NY; faithful sisters in law : Earleen McDavid-Dobson, Pointe a la Garde and Murielle Pichette, Montreal. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by 2 brothers: Arthur and Raymond and by 3 sisters Flora, Evangeline and Isabelle.

The funeral was held at Maher's Funeral Chapel, Campbellton and interment to take place at Dawsonville Cemetery.

Myrtle (Cleveland) MacNeill

The death of Mrs Myrtle MacNeill of St-Hubert, Quebec, occurred at the CHSLD Vigi Monteregie, St Hubert, Quebec on April 8, 2006 at the age of 97.

Born in Belleville, Ontario, She was the daughter of the late Annie Gardener and the late Thomas Cleveland.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter: Thelma MacNeill of St Lambert, QC., her 4 grandchildren: Beatrix McKeogh of Norvil, Ont., Clinton Pike of Calgary, Alberta, Darrel Pike of Pointe a la Croix, and Brennan PIke of St Lambert, QC. Also her11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren will fondly remember her.

Her husband Robert MacNeill, her grand daughter Lorelie and her parents, predeceased her.

Funeral was held from Savoie Funeral Chapel, Campbellton with interment in parish cemetery in the spring.

Marie Valeda (Benoit) Pawlak

At the Ford Village, Dearborn, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2006, at the age of 90, Marie Valeda Pawlak (born Benoit), wife of the late Anthony Pawlak.

Born in Tracadie, NB, she was the daughter of the late Seraphin and Veronique (Mallet) Benoit.

She is survived by four brothers, Rev., Wilfred of Atholville, NB, Isaie (Helen) of hamilton ON., Edgar and Gerard (Armance) both of Dalhousie, NB; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Russell "Rusty" Barnaby
1954 - 2006

On April 14, 2006 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, passed away at the age of 52, Mr Russell "Rusty" Barnaby.

Born in Campbellton on March 9, 1954, he is the son of the late Donald Barnaby and the late Mary Jane Vicaire.

He leaves to mourn his wife Mrs Jennifer Barnaby (born Harris); one daughter Tanya Barnaby, Listuguj; his son Cory (Jill), Listuguj; his sisters Margaret Jerome, Shirley Methot and Nora Sorbey; one brother Lester Barnaby and 2 grand children Kali and Oakley. One sister Dorothy, predeceased him.

The funeral mass was held from St Anne's Church, Listuguj, on Monday April 17, interment in the parish cemetery.

George LeBlanc
1915 - 2006

The death of Mr. George Fabian LeBlanc occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on April 12th, 2006 at the age of 90. Born in Campbellton on July 4, 1915, he is the son of the late Frank LeBlanc and the late Evelyn Mina Savoie.

He is survived by one sister Ethel St. Laurent of Mississauga, Ontario and by one brother Gerald LeBlanc of Campbellton.

Predeceased him are his wife, Grace (Thompson) LeBlanc (2006), a sister Evelyn LeBlanc and two brothers, Wilfred and Jack.

Funeral mass was held from the St thomas Aquinas Church, Campbellton, interment in the St Thomas Aquinas parish cemetery.
