Donald Hennigar
The passing of Donald Hennigar of Fredericton, partner of Mona Carrier, occurred on March 28, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born on October 24, 1938 in Dawsonville, NB, Donald was a son of the late Vital and Lydia (Connors) Hennigar. Donald worked as a Fishery Warden, was a volunteer fireman in Glenlevit, NB, a member of St. Paul's Anglican Church, Dawsonville, NB as well as a member of the Riparian Association of New Brunswick. Donald loved to walk, tell jokes and talk with everyone he met. He was a good man.
His strong Christian faith provided him peace, acceptance and courage from the moment of his diagnosis of pancreatic cancer 10 ½ months ago and up to the moment he passed away at the DECH surrounded by family and friends. He was an example to many.
Donald is survived by five sons, Glenford, Brian and Jimmy, all of Sudbury, ON, Ricky of Toronto, ON and Kevin of Cross Point, PQ; one brother, Billy of Campbellton, NB; six sisters, Dorothy of Toronto, ON, Elizabeth of Montreal, PQ, Betty and Francis of Campbellton, NB, Shirley of Sudbury, ON and Peggy-Lee of St. Jean Baptiste, NB; several grandchildren; an aunt, Delia Ritch of Belleville, ON; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Donald was predeceased by his first wife Helena (Gliden) and sons David and Terry.
At Donald's request cremation has taken place. Visitation was held on Tuesday April 1, 2008 from 7-9 pm at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Dr. Fredericton NB. A Funeral Service will take place in Campbellton, NB followed by interment in Dawsonville NB, at a later date. Eric Mazerolle
(1978-2008)
BALMORAL - It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden death, on April 8, of Eric Mazerolle, 29 years old, life partner of Prisca Levesque and son of Philippe Mazerolle and Jacinthe (Audet) Mazerolle. Other than Prisca and his parents, he is survived by his daughter Élissa, 3 years old; a new born to arrive in September; his sister, Véronique Mazerolle; his niece, Mia Harquail; two brothers in law: Kris Harquail and Kiel Levesque; his parents in law: Monique (Fontaine) Levesque and Normand Levesque; his paternal grand-mother, Lorraine Mazerolle; his maternal grand-father, Conrad Audet; his daughter's great-grand-mother, Estelle Levesque; his godfather, René Audet; his godmother, Pauline Mazerolle. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his maternal grand-mother, Florence Audet; his paternal grand-father, Elzéar Mazerolle and two uncles: Réjean Audet and Omer Levesque.
The funeral mass was held from St. Benoit Church Balmoral on Friday April 11th at 4pm. Father Léo Lanteigne officiating.

Jacques St-Laurent
Passed away at the Hotel Dieu Hospital in St. Jérome, QC on April 5, 2008 at the age of 59, Mr. Jacques St-Laurent. Born in Restigouche, QC on September 7, 1948, he was the son of the late Léon St-Laurent and the late Juliette Beaulieu.
He leaves to mourn his wife Monique Poirier from Pointe-à-la-Croix, his daughters Gail (Réjean) St-Laurent from Drummondville, QC and Jill (Roger) St-Laurent of Prévost, QC, his sisters Jacqueline St-Laurent from Pointe-à-la-Croix and Cécile (Arthur) St-Laurent from Mont-Jolie. Also survived by 3 grandchildren Samantha St-Laurent, Brandon Petit and Megan Petit. Predeceased by his brother Jean-Edmond St-Laurent.
The funeral mass was held from Ste Anne Church Restigouche on Thursday April 10th at 3pm. Father Evariste Landry officiating. Interment at the Parish Cemetery this spring. Pallbearers were Roger Roy, Réjean Petit, Serge Arsenault, Richard Arsenault, Alain Arsenault and Gilles Poirier.

Joseph Michael Lloyd (Godin) Goodine
On Tuesday, April 1, 2008, Michael passed away peacefully at the St. Catherines General Hospital at the age of 86.
Born in Jacquet River, NB, he was the son of the late Ethel (Hickey) and John David Godin. Mike was predeceased by his beloved wife Charlotte (Esligar) in April 1979, also by his second wife Nora (Dumoulin) in February, 2008.
He will be sadly missed by his children, Gertrude Gauthier (Andrew), Patsy Guitard, Betty-Ann Driscoll (Kenneth), Grace Goodine all of New Brunswick, Yna Lachnit (Bob) Niagara-on-the-Lake, Brian Godin (Georgette) Niagara Falls, Normand Richard (Trudy) St. Davids, Lorraine McArthur (Len), British Columbia, and a stepdaughter, Sandra Cromhout of St. Catherines. He was predeceased by his daughter Sheila (1955).
He will be fondly remembered by his twenty-three grandchildren and by his twenty-eight great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Dear brother of Mary Arsenault, Brampton, Sandy Goodine (Thelma), Delphis Goodine, Leslie Goodine, all of New Brunswick and Sanford Godin (Marion) of St. Catherines and the late Hilda Hickey (2005). Michael was a proud veteran of World War II, serving in New Brunswick, Michael also spent many years employed as the maintenance man and gardener at the Honeymoon Hotel in Niagara Falls.
Michael's family received friends at the Norse & Son's Chapel of the Morgan Funeral Homes, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls on Friday, April 4th, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A service to celebrate his life was held at the funeral home on Saturday afternoon at 12:30, with Father Tony McNamara officiating. Shawna Ogar (Jeff Driscoll) sang "Amazing Grace", and grandson Andrew Gauthier (Jr.) read the eulogy. Pallbearers were grandsons, Jeff Driscoll, Trevor Driscoll, Jorden House, Brandon Davis, Randy Hickey (nephew) and Mike Telega (friend). Interment followed at the Fairview Cemetery in Niagara Falls.
Mary Jane Harquail
Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on April 7, 2008 at the age of 88, Mrs. Mary Jane Harquail. Born in Durham Centre, NB on March 6, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Francis Isaac Pagé and the late Rose Firlotte.
She leaves to mourn her daughters Susan (Jacques) Mailloux and Margaret (Randy) Doucet both of Campbellton, her daughters-in-law Claudette Harquail and Catherine Harquail both of Campbellton, her son Wayne (Pierrette) Harquail of Cornwall, ON, her sister Lena (Douglas) Legacy of Campbellton, her sisters-in-law Kay Neeves and Clotilda Pierce both of BC. Also survived by her 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Bernard, 2 sons James and Barry and grandson Douglas.
The funeral mass was held from St. Thomas Church Campbellton on Wednesday April 9th at 2pm. Father Bill Arseneault officiating. Interment at Our Lady of Snows Cemetery this spring. Pallbearers were grandsons Russell Harquail, Michael Harquail, Mark Doucet, Kevin Harquail, John Harquail and great-grandson Stephen Roberts.

At his residence in Courtice, Ont., on Saturday, March 8, 2008, in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Kathleen, nee McKiel. Devoted father of Keith, Kevin, Lawrence and their spouses. Loving grandfather of Cassandra, Dillan, Scott, Rachel, Ryan and Taylor. Dear brother of Lawrence.
Predeceased by his parents Prescott and Eva and his sister Vesta. Rested at the Courtice Funeral Chapel, 1587 Highway #2, Courtice (905-432-8484). Funeral service at Faith United Church, 1778 Nash Rd., Courtice, on Thursday, March 13th at 1 p.m. Interment in Ebenezer Cemetery, Courtice. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
Rosaire Fleury
The death of Rosaire Fleury of Jacquet River occurred on Thursday April 03, 2008, at Rose's Special Care Home, Dalhousie at the age of 85. Born in Frampton, Quebec, he was the son of the late Merilda (Doyon) and Joseph Fleury.
He is survived by his sons Levis, Philippe, Rocky and daughter Jocelyn as well as his stepchildren Verna Gray, Donna Russell, Shirley Guitard, Eugene Russell, Reggie Russell, Bunny Russell, Frankie Russell and Jude Russell. He is also survived by several grandchildren.
He was pre-deceased by his wife Eileen (Furlotte) and Winnifred Russell.
His funeral was held from St. Gabriel's Church, Jacquet River, Monday April 07, 2008 officiated by Father David Ferguson with burial to take place in the parish cemetery in the spring. Pallbearers were Joey Furlotte, Eugene Gallie, Wayde Godin, Percy Mallaley, Stephane Chaisson and Dustin Robichaud.
