Raymond (Zeek) Stewart
1931-2010

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on April 17, 2010, at the age of 79, Mr. Raymond (Zeek) Stewart. Born in Campbellton, he was the son of Walter Ray Stewart and Grace Caissy. He was a CN employee for 40 years. He enjoyed many hobbies such as skating, walking, fishing and bowling. He is survived by his wife Mina (Doucette) Stewart, his sister Jean (Ted Daniels) of Vancouver, B.C. and brother, Robert (Phyliss) of Kentucky, his sister in law, Diane and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Elsie (Paul Poirier) and brother (Vernon). The funeral was held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church with Rev. Bill Arseneault officiating. Raymond was a man who asked so little and yet he lived to the fullest. He was a man of few words, but he would surely say "Thank You Lord for everything". He will sadly be missed by family and close friends. Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home in Campbellton.

Edith Muriel Annie Main

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on April 29, 2010 at the age of 70, Mrs. Edith Muriel Annie Main of Robinsonville. Born in Manns Mountain on August 3, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Murdock Stewart and the late Kathleen Hennigar. She leaves to mourn her daughter Ethel K. Demeau of Robinsonville, her sisters Alice of Campbellton and Freda of Sudbury, her brothers Jim of Toronto, Gilbert of Val D'Amour and Murray of Toronto. Also survived by her grandson Jessie J. Demeau, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Murdock and Kathleen, one son Robert, 1st husband Melvin J. Demeau and 2nd husband Charles J. Main, sisters Mildred and Barb, brothers Herbie, Murdock, William, Garnet and Gordon. The funeral service was held from Maher's Funeral Chapel Campbellton on Tuesday, May 4th at 2pm. Reverend Arnold Godsoe officiating. Interment at the Robinsonville Cemetery. Pallbearers were Murray Stewart, Gilbert Stewart, Jim Stewart, Stephen Demeau, François Levesque and Gerald Cleveland. Honourary Pallbearers were Alice Stewart, Steven Blanchette, David Ian Boudreau, Garnet Moran, David Boudreau and Kevin Bernard. Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.
