ADRIENNE MOCKLER
1910 - 2006

It is with profound sadness the family of Adrienne Mockler announces the death of their beloved mother on April 17, 2006 at the Senior Citizens Home in Dalhousie at the age of 95 years old. She was born in Val Brillant, Quebec, on April 25, 1910. She was predeceased by her husband, Nelson.

She leaves behind five children: Donald (Anita), of Montreal; Douglas (Georgette), Balmoral; Carl (Yvette), Dalhousie; Lou, Dalhousie and Betty-Anne (Roy Pitre), Campbellton.

She also leaves behind eighteen grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren and one great great grandson.

Funeral was held at the St. John Bosco Church in Dalhousie on April 20th.

Pallbearers were her six grandsons: Jean-Louis, Maurice, Frederick, Carl Jr., Kirby Mockler and Serge Pitre.

Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Dalhousie.

Earl Joseph O'Toole
1922-2006

Princess Louise Dragoon Guards

Died suddenly, but peacefully with his family at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on April 15, 2006.

Earl was born on March 22, 1922 in South Nelson, New Brunswick son of the late Olezine (Mazerolle) and John O'Toole.

He is survived by his wife Gisele, his children: Patrick (Shirley), Nancy, (Jean) Menard, John, (Theresa), Susan, (Garnet) Connors, Carole Ann, ( Herve) Auclair, William, (Charlene), his sister Margaret Maltais and a grandfather to 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his daughter Marilyn (Molly), brother Raymond, sisters Frances and Mary.

Earl served his country during the Second World War from 1939 to 1945 with The North Shore Regiment, Carleton York Regiment and The Princess Louise Dragoon Guards.

Earl was a tradesman in the construction industry as a Stonemason and a Bricklayer. He later entered the field of teaching as a trade instructor at the Campbellton Community College where he retired in 1981.

He was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 19, and was a past member of the North Shore Regiment (Militia), St. Thomas Aquinas Knights of Columbus, and the Campbellton Fire Brigade. Earl was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors especially during strawberry season.

Pallbearers were the grandchildren: Troy, Michael, Shane and Tracy O'Toole, Jason and Gordon Connors, Melina Menard and Annick Desrochers.

Honorary Pallbearers were: Gerald Prentice, Terry Dimock, Willie Desrochers, Etienne Veilleux and George Long.

Funeral mass was held at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church on April 19, 2006, with Father William Arseneault officiating.

Interment will be at a later date at the St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.

Elizabeth (Beth) Hamilton

The death of Elizabeth (Beth) Hamilton of Charlo, wife of the late Albert Hamilton, occurred Monday, April 10th at Dalhousie Nursing Home at the age of 85. Born in Blackland, the daughter of James Nichol and Bertha (Hamilton).

She is survived by her son James (Marilyn) of Dalhousie, daughters Janet MacDougall (David) of Fredericton, Norma Dodge (Garfield) of Fredericton, 4 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Also surviving are brother Bill Nichol (Joyce) of Charlo, sisters Lillian MacLean (Kenneth) of Charlo, Nettie Chedore of Dalhousie Junction, and Holly Haliburton of Vancouver.

She was predeceased by her husband Albert, brothers Stanley, Charles, Kenneth, Allan, Ernest, and Alexander.

Her funeral was held from Zion United Church, New Mills, April 19, 2006, officiated by Rev. Donald Fairweather, with burial in the New Mills United Cemetery.

Elizabeth Harrington
1936 - 2006

The death of Mrs. Elizabeth "Betty" Harrington of 20 Blueberry Point Rd., Eel River Bar, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on April 16 at the age of 70.

Born in Dalhousie on February 15th, 1936, she is the daughter of the late Raymond McBain and the late Nancy Vicaire.

She is survived by her daughters: Sharon Martin and Elizabeth McBain both of Eel River Bar; her sons: Robert Harn, Springfield, MA; Sonny Harn, Eel River Bar; Charles Harn, Fredericton and Derrick Harrington, Eel River Bar; her sisters: Alice George, Eunice Charbeneau, Carol Ann McBain and Marilyn McBain all from the states; Diane Haché, Shirley Sewell and Grace Menard all from Eel River Bar; her brothers Raymond McBain, Worcester, Mass; John McBain, Eel River Bar and Kenneth McBain, Oxford Mass. She is also survived by 17 grand children and 2 great grand children. Predeceased her are two sisters Dorothy McBain and Ruth McBain.

The funeral mass was held from St. John Bosco Church, Dalhousie on April 19, 2006 @ 2pm. Father William Arseneau officiating. Interment in the St. John the Baptist parish cemetery.

Pallbearers were Robert Harn, Sonny Harn, Charles Harn, Derrick Harrington, John McBain and Raymond McBain.

Honorary pallbearer was Kenneth McBain.

Funeral arrangements were under the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Dalhousie.
