Donna Joan Walker

A tribute of love and remembrance to Donna Joan Walker née Parent

In proud and loving memories of my beloved sister

If it is sad to die in the spring as sang Jacques Brel, one may say that it is even sadder for Donna Joan who on her 64th birthday, March the 8th, 2008, surrounded by the loves of her life, her 3 beloved children, Julie (Doug) who never left her side, Robert and Patrick, 12 beautiful angels arrived from above to carry her gently home to her heavenly new home.

Her beloved late husband, Bob, her mom and dad Éva and Amedie, sisters Linda, Wilma and husband Gilbert Goyetche, Colleen husband Fern Leblanc, brother in law Raymond Wedge, brothers Raymond, Ronald, Leo and Jackie.

My dearest sister Donna Joan, I am so grateful to have been able to visit you at your home and in hospital these several times, to take you and your wonderful family to Red Lobster. It was very humbling and touching for Clément and I to attend your wake and beautiful service, to meet so many of your wonderful friends, to share a room filled by delicate scent of so many flowers proclaiming the esteem and love of so many to ease the journey on this your last trip. You were truly blessed and loved by so many friends, especially your best pal Anna, who is a treasure in herself.

Dear Donna Joan, as I said at your funeral service, Donna Joan was not rich with worldly possessions like gold, silver, diamonds, but by golly my sister Donna Joan was much richer than I ever dreamed and all of you here today are living proof. She was very rich in love and family and friends.

Dear Donna Joan, silence speaks to say good bye to loving memories that never die, a long lost battle, now at rest leaving time to heal the pain and lovely hearts to mend Donna Joan, a loving, caring beautiful person now at rest at peace with pain no longer there but we will forever remember and care. Sweetest dreams dearest Donna Joan, memories are forever. Always loved, forever missed

Brother Carl J. Parent, Clément and Teddies.
