James "Jim" Donald Graham
The passing of James "Jim" Donald Graham of Douglas, NB, husband of Cynthia (Dernier) Graham occurred on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born on May 6, 1952 in St. Stephen, NB, he was the son of M. Aurora Graham and the late J. Freeman Graham. Jim had his Bachelor of Arts. He worked for NB Power as a River Control Operator, working in Dalhousie for 25 years and Mactaquac for five years. He was a member of the IBEW Union Executive and the Mactaquac Sailing Association. Jim was an avid sailor and loved the outdoors, snowshoeing, curling and woodworking. In addition to his wife and mother, James is survived by sisters, Maggie McLaughlin (John) of Fredericton, NB, Sharon Ingleton (Derek) of Quispamsis, NB and Carla Bleakney (Steven) of Fredericton, NB; brother, Bill Graham (Elayna Katz) of Ottawa, ON; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephew. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 1 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Louise Elias
The death of Louise Elias of Jacquet River, wife of the late Robert (Bob) Elias, occurred at the Ottawa Civic Hospital, Sunday, May 09, 2010 at the age of 58. Born in Edmundston, NB, she was the daughter of Juliette (Michaud) & the late Louis Bélanger. Louise served her community as a Public Health nurse for nearly 30 years. She took an active role in her community and her church as a catechist, lector, and server. She was also involved through sports organizing, in both summer and winter sports. She is survived by her sons; Matthew and his wife Melanie of Nigadoo, Marc of Toronto, her mother; Juliette Bélanger, her grandsons; Joshua & Noah, her brother; Jean Maurice and his wife Linda as well as her sisters; Madeleine & Françoise and her husband Setrak. Her funeral will be held at St. Gabriel's Church, Jacquet River on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 11 am with visitation at the St. Gabriel's Funeral Parlour Friday evening from 7 until 9 PM. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in memory of Louise would be appreciated by the family. Carl Thériault
1943 - 2010
At the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Monday, May 10, 2010 at the age of 66, passed away Mr. Carl Thériault of Val d'Amour, husband of Sadie (Legacy) Thériault. He was the son of the late Napoleon Thériault and Mrs. Edith Savoie. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Sadie of Val d'Amour; his eight children: Carlyn (Richard) of Val d'Amour, Denis of Val d'Amour, Richard (Fabie) of Val d'Amour, Denise of Campbellton, David of Val d'Amour, Jo-Anne (Johnny) of Val d'Amour, Rachel (Youhann) of Campbellton and Manon of Campbellton; his 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; his mother, Mrs. Edith Thériault of Campbellton; his sisters: Patricia Thibeault (Laurie), Carole Thériault, Marlene McKinnon and Dale Thériault; his brothers: Rod Leblanc, Ralph, Edmond, Armel, Gerald and Clarence. He is also survived by many members of the Legacy family, nieces, nephews and friends. The funeral mass was held on Thursday, May 13, 2010 in the Our Lady of Sacred Heart Church, Val d'Amour and officiated by Father Emile Godin with burial in Campbellton. Alcida Doucet Bouchard

Past away at her home on May 5th, 2010 at the age of 71. She is survived by her daughter Nicole Bouchard (Rick Doltin), her daughter-in-law Geraldine Savoie, her grandchildren, Philip Cyr (Christina), Andy Cyr (Mindy), William Jensen, Melissa Bouchard (Jeremie), Janika Savoie (Daniel), her great grandchildren, Kyla, Angelica, Aiden, Beizhik, her sisters and brothers, Hermance Ouellette, Clémence Doucet, Hildegard Doucet, Charles Doucet, her nieces, nephews and many friends. She will be missed by all. She may be gone but not forgotten and will always be in our hearts. We love you. The funeral mass was held from Our Lady of Snows Church Campbellton on Tuesday, May 11th at 2 pm. Father Romeo Morrison officiating. Interment at Our Lady of Sacred Heart Cemetery Val D'Amour. Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.
