Laurent Lanteigne

The death of Laurent Lanteigne of Campbellton occurred at the Bathurst Regional Hospital at the age of 76.

Born in Atholville, he was the son of the late Pierre Lanteigne and the late Odile Gionet. He was employed at the Campbellton Restigouche Hospital for over 25 years.

He is survived by one daughter: Lorraine Firlotte (Michael) of Campbellton, three sons: Maurice (Hélene) of Rogersville, Patrice (Joann) of Calgary and Jean-Claude (Carole) of Campbellton, 10 grandchildren: André, Lee, Stéphane, Chantal, Marc-André, Amielie, Daniel, Zoé, Geneviève and Jean-Rémi, two sisters: Delourdes Bryar (Joseph) of Beresford and Jeannette Bryar (Cléo) of Beresford, two brothers: Willfred (Gaby) of Atholville and Gerry (Cécile) of Atholville.

He is also survived by his two sisters-in-law: Cécile Lanteigne of Atholville and Lucille Lanteigne of Atholville

He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Yolande Lavoie, his three brothers Aldéric, Douglas and Fernand and also by one sister-in-law Simonne

Archille Beaulieu

The death of Archille Beaulieu of 17 1/2 Stanley St. Campbellton occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on May 6th 2004

Born in Campbellton on February 12th 1939, he was the son of the late Ludger Beaulieu and the late Alphonsine Paradis

He will be sadly missed by his wife Marie Haché; daughter Nathalie Beaulieu (Gilbert); son Stephane Beaulieu (Elaine); sisters Isabelle Beaulieu, Denise Beaulieu, Eveline Beaulieu, Marie-Paul Boudreau (Simon) and Claudette Dubé (Charles) all of Cross Point P.Q., He also leaves to mourn his grandchildren Martin and Myriam, as well as several nieces and nephews

He was predeceased by his parents, and two brothers Roland and Alphée Beaulieu

Margaret MacCurdy

The Death of Margaret MacCurdy of Black Point occurred at the Dalhousie Nursing Home on Friday April 30th 2004 at the age of 83

Born in Black Point, she was the daughter of the late James MacCurdy and the late Catherine Hamilton

She is survived by her brothers Lindsay (Helen) MacCurdy of Moncton and Byron MacCurdy of Black Point. She was predeceased by her sister Helen

Leona Hickey

The death of Leona Hickey, wife of the late Howard C. Hickey of Lorne N.B., occurred at her home on May 2nd 2004 at the age of 82. Born in Lorne, she was the daughter of the late Mary Alice (Godin) and Peter P. LaPointe

She is survived by four sons; Barry (Jeannette) of Bathurst, Howard L. (Helen) of New Mills, Daniel (Linda) of Belldune, and Perry (Lise) of Miramichi; five daughters Sheilagh of Toronto, Linda LaPointe (Allen) of Nash Creek, Sandra Mallaley (Lawrence) of Lorne, Donna Richard (Malcolm) of Lorne, and Vivian (Angus) of Belledune. She is also survived by four sisters Antoinette Foran (Ron) of Ontario, Alphonsine Hickey of Doyleville, Gertrude Hickey of Belledune and Barbara Furlotte of Belledune, as well as 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren

She was predeceased by her husband, Francis Pherne and Mary Pherne, son Donald, sisters Olive Gauthier, Eulalie Bishop, and brothers Lorenzo, Edgar and Barry

Gordon Richard Garrett

The death of Gordon Richard Garrett of 4 Dufferin St., Campbellton occurred at his residence on May 2nd 2004.

Born in Campbellton N.B., he was the son of the late Clifford Garrett and the late Edith Gallon. He worked as a heavy equipment operator.

He is survived by his wife Sheila Marie Garrett; daughter Sharon Garrett; daughter Sharon Garrett of Toronto; sons Wayne Doucet (Mary Ellen) of Blackville and Kenneth Garrett (Mary) of Campbellton; sisters Gladys Peacock and Viola Garrett; brother Wilson Garrett; grandchildren Lionel, Michael John, Jennifer, Stephanie and David

He was predeceased by his parents, sister Elizabeth and brothers Sydney and George

Cindy Lee Whalen

The death of Cindy Lee Whalen of Campbellton occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on May 7th 2004

Born in Campbellton on March 14th 1957, she was the daughter of Ambrose Guy Whalen and the late Catherine Rae Letterick. She was a member of the St. Thomas C.W.L., Catholic Prayer Group and a former member of the choir.

She will be sadly missed by her father; sister Sandra (Ralph) Theriault of Hamner Ontario, brothers Robert (Brenda) Whalen of Fort Saskatchewan Alberta, John (Sharon) Whalen of Airdie Alberta, Patrick Whalen of Moncton N.B., and Steven Whalen of Cambellton; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins in both Lettrick and Whalen families.

She was predeceased by her mother.

Denise Malley Kubesh

The death of Denise Malley Kubesh of Oshawa Ontario, occurred in Oshawa on March 30th 2004 at the age of 52

Born in Campbellton on January 8th 1952, she was the daughter of Stanley Malley and the late Therese Aubie Berthelot, Denise was retired and loved gardening and pets

She will be sadly missed by her father, husband Fred Kubesh; daughter Diane; sons Paul and Martin; sisters Gisèle (Alcide) Suzanne (Reginald) and Rachelle; brother Phillippe (Monique); as well as several nieces and nephews

She was predeceased by her mother, Therese Aubie Berthelot
