Robert George Chambers

The passing of Robert G. Chambers, fomerly of Campbellton, occurred at Welland Hospital, Ont, May 17th, 2010 at the age of 76. He leaves behind 5 daughters, Shirley; Atholville, Carol (John); Kitchener, Ont, Brenda (Luc); McLeods, Pamela; Moncton, and Cindy; Tide Head. Granddaughter Samantha; Campbellton, Sister Grace and several nieces and nephews. He will be missed.

Irene Lapointe

The death of Irene Lapointe of Nash Creek occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of St. Joseph Hospital, Sunday, May 16, 2010 at the age of 83. Born in Jacquet River,she was the daughter of the late Joseph Doyle and the late Anelda (Daigle). She is survived by her daughters Sandra LaPointe (Mark) of Pt. La Nim, Susan LaPointe of Pt. La Nim, Betty LaPointe of Nash Creek, Verna LaPointe of Dalhousie, Suzanne Mazerolle of Beamsville, ON, sons; Charles (Jocelyn) of Nash Creek, Wayne (Dorothy) of Dalhousie, Don (Denise) of Nash Creek, thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren, brothers; John, Lou, Victor and Norman and sister Iva Doyle. She was predeceased by her brothers Clement and Mano as well as her sisters Audrey, Mona and Geraldine. Her funeral was held from St. Gabriels Church, Jacquet River, Wednesday May 19, 2010. Pallbearers were Chris Blais, Ryan LaPointe, Leo LaPointe, Wayne LaPointe, Charles LaPointe and Don LaPointe. Irène Goulette (1921-2010)

At the Regional Hospital in Campbellton passed away on May 20, 2010, at the age of 89 years, Irene (Doiron) Goulette, wife of the late Simeon Goulette. She is survived by ten children, Theresa (John Hamilton), Annette (Jacques Duchesne), Ernest (Barb Carter), Aurèle (Eugenie Duquenne), Edgar (Shelley Hickey), Simone, Yvonne (Yvon Landry), Diane (Kevin Hickey), Clarence (Violette Thériault) and Monique, two brothers, Lionel and Laurier, twenty-three grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Predeceaced by a sister Delphine, son-in-law Rene Lachance and a great-granddaughter Amy. The funeral mass was celebrated at St François Xavier Church in Charlo on Tuesday, May 25 at 11am. Father Régent Landry officiating. Interment at the Parish Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Balmoral.

Henrietta Doucet

Henrietta Doucet The death of Henrietta Doucet of Jacquet River occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital Sunday, May 16, 2010 at the age of 89. Born in Belledune, she was the daughter of the late Isaac Guitard and the late Brigette (Asselin). She is survived by her sons- Claude (Patsy) of Belledune, Eugene (Norma) of Belledune, Charles (Irene) of Montreal, Ronald (Ann) of Toronto, John (Deanna) of Florenceville, Jacques (Bonnie) of Edmonton, Guy (Cynthia) of Edmonton, daughters; Marie Bruce of Guelph ON., Theresa Cormier (Rene) of Belledune, daughters-in-law; Suzanne Doucet and Jean Doucet. She is also survived by her twenty-two grandchildren and twenty one greatgrandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her sons Raymond and Julien, grandson Stephen and greatgrandchildren Finn Cormier and Sarah Fogarty. Her funeral will be held from St. Gabriels Church,Jacquet River, Friday May 21, 2010 officiated by Father David Ferguson. Pallbearers were Danielle Doucet, Steph LaPlante, Stacey Power, Ryan Doucet, Cindy Cormier and Marc Doucet. Audrey Marion Babin 1928-2010

Audrey Marion Babin 1928-2010 Died peacefully at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Sunday May 16th, at the age of 81. Born in Benjamin River NB, she was the daughter of the late Morley Chandler and the late Georgina Chandler (White). She is survived by her loving husband Albert W. Babin, of Dalhousie, two daughters, Judy A.M. Babin of Dalhousie and Lynn Fontaine (Omer) of Beresford, one grandchild Melissa Fontaine of Robertville, a brother Robert Chandler of Kanata Ont. and a sister Blanche Goligher of Chateauguay Que. Also several nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law. Funeral services were held at the St. John Bosco Church, Dalhousie on May 21st with Rev. William Arseneault officiating. Funeral arrangements were in care of Maher's Funeral Home, Dalhousie NB. She is and always will be sadly missed.
