Francis Mallais
On January 3, 2004, Mr. Francis Mallais, beloved husband of Germaine Blanquiere, LeBlanc, Mallais, passed away at the age of 79.
He will be sadly missed by his family, Real (Yvette), Raymond (Colette), Michel (Line), Georgette (Mark), Mona, Pierette (Mike), Rose (Edward), brothers; Victor, Normand, Edgar, and one sister Lisa Cook.
Also survived by his extended family, Malcolm (Ghislaine), Claude (Noëlla), Nicole and Paulo (Debbie) LeBlanc.

Theriault, Stella Pheobe (retired lifetime employee of Simpson's/The by and proud volunteer at St. Michael's Hospital). Peacefully, at St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto, with her family by her side, on Thursday, Jan 8, 2004.
Stella, beloved wife of the late Alex and dear mother of her late son Michael. Devoted mother of Louis and his wife Debbie and Lynn and her husband Michael. Cherished "Nanny" of Lindsay and Kaileigh. Sister of the late Theodore, Albert, Pearl, Mamie, and sister-in-law of Annette, Jeannie, John, the late Henry and their spouses. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Leandre Giroux
The death of Leandre Giroux of Charlo, occurred at St. Joseph Hospital, Dalhousie, On January 7, 2004, at the age of 90.
Born In Charlo on April 14, 1913, he was the son of the late James Giroux and the late Ida McIntyre. Leandre worked as office personnel for the N.B.I.P mill in Dalhousie for more than 30 years. He was also an alter server for 27 years, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and one of the founders of the Charlo Caisse Populaire.
He is survived by his daughter Suzanne (Mike) Mealey of Happy Valley, Goose Bay; sons Jacques (Denise) of Regina, Sask, and Jean-Louis (Klaus) of Campbellton. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Nadine, Scott and Nathan Mealay as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Florida Doucet, and sisters Elizabeth (Bessie), Opal, Ethel and Pearl.
