Raymond Thibodeau

The death of Raymond Thibodeau of Dieppe, New Brunswick, and formerly of Campbellton, occurred at the Dr. G. L. Dumont Hospital in Moncton on Saturday, May 8, 2004 at the age of 56.

Born in Campbellton he was the son of the late Edgar Thibodeau and Lola Lajoie. Raymond worked for 25 years as a roofer.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Beatrice Thibodeau of Dieppe; four children, Chantal Thibodeau-Charest (Sydney Charest) of Saint John, N.B., Edmond Thibodeau of Jasper; Alberta, Patrick Thibodeau (Janice Leblanc) of Dieppe and Julie Thibodeau of Dieppe; his mother Lola Thibodeau of Campbellton; seven sisters, Annette Savoie (Donald) of Atholville, Exilia "Dale" Savoie (Normand) of Atholville, Lorraine Brander (Jim) of Dalhousie, Alma Paradis (Mathias) of Dalhousie, Pierrette Crowley (Jack) of Campbellton, Georgette Spencer (Randy) of Fredericton and Therese Renault of Campbellton; three brothers Ronald (Madelaine) of Atholville, George (Judith) of Atholville and Albert (Linda) of Moncton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father and one sister Jean Noel.

Winifred Russell

The death of Winnifred Russell of Jacquet River occurred May 11, 2004, at the age of 82.

Born in Jacquet River, she was the daughter of the late John Kennedy and Margaret Lapointe.

She is survived by her children Verna Gray (Weldon) of Jacquet River, Reggie (Noella) of Dalhousie, Bunny (Patsy) of Jacquet River, Frankie (Irene) Of Montreal, Donna Russell of Saint John, Shirley Russell (Rene ) of Dalhousie, Jude of Jacquet River, ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband James, brothers Hedley and Johnny, and sisters Margaret, Viola, Mary, Doris, Charlotte and Myrtle.

Hedley Kennedy

Hedley Kennedy of Webbwood passed away at the Espanola Long Term Care on Tuesday May 11, 2004 in his 87th year.

Beloved husband of the late Vi (nee Doyle) (1994). Dear son of the late John and Margaret (Lapointe) Kennedy. Loving father of Raymond (wife Grace) and Robert (wife Marlene) both of Webbwood and June Kennedy of North Bay. Will be sadly missed by six grandchildren Ray Jr., Carrie, Greg, Kim, Michael and Christine and seven great grandchildren, Justin, Darian, Lynsie, Dayna, Dylan, Jenna and Riley.

Predeceased by one grandson Joseph and one great granddaughter Sydney.

Dear brother of the late Johnny Kennedy, Viola Strong, Myrtle Firlotte, Mary Strong, Charlotte Straon, Doris Joncas, Margaret Cormier and Winnie Russell.

Hedley was a veteran of World War ll and an Ordinary Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #432 Massey.

Donations to the Espanola Hospital Foundation Long Term Care Unit would be appreciated.

Georges LeBlanc

The death of Georges LeBlanc, husband of Rita LaPointe of 108 Victoria St., Campbellton, occurred at the Campbellton Nursing Home on May 9, 2004, at the age of 75.

Born on April 10, 1929, he was the son of the late Pierre LeBlanc and the late Exilda Arseneault.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Rita; his brothers Leandre (Rita) of Tide Head, Laurie (Mary) of Truro, N.S., Craig (Marguerite) of Campbellton, Aurele (Rolande) of Campbellton, Pierre (Patsy) of California, Eugene (Gisele) of Dalhousie; and one sister Doris (Jean Paul ) Allard of Campbellton.
