Sandra Fenwick Creaghan
The death of Sandra Fenwick Creaghan occurred Friday, May 29th, 2009. She is survived by her friend and life partner, Justice Paul Creaghan; by two beloved children, Dr. Jason Creaghan and his wife, Deanna Young of Ottawa and Amber Creaghan and her husband, Ben Forcier of Dartmouth; by five beautiful grandchildren, Alice, Eva, Beatrice, Theo and Will; two loving sisters, Joan Burgess and Sarah Fenwick, both of Campbellton. At the request of the deceased there will be no visitation or funeral service. A family burial service will be held on her interment at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Ann Burns
The death of Mrs. Ann Burns wife of Leo Burns of Miramichi, NB, occurred on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at the age of 70. Born in South Esk, NB, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Kathleen (O'Brien) Young. Ann was a retired X-ray Technician, avid Curler, Golfer, Bridge Player, member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Bereavement Committee and organized the Home Alone Christmas Dinner. Ann along with her husband and family lived in Campbellton, NB for 18 years. Besides her husband: Leo, Ann is survived by: one daughter: Carolyn Burns of Barrie, ON; one son: Jason (Pascale Martin) of Campbellton, NB; three sisters: Noreen Drillen (Alfred) of Lower Derby, NB; Evelyn MacIvor of Chatham, NB; Kathleen Godin of Newcastle, NB; two sister in laws: Elsie Young and Marion Young; two brothers: Bill (Carolyn) of South Esk, NB; Michael (Lorraine) of Williamstown, NB; two grandchildren: Aidan and Emma and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents: Ann is predeceased by: two brothers: Regan and Hubert; one brother in law: Hector Godin. The family received visitors at Bell's Funeral Home on Friday, April 17, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated from St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Newcastle, NB, on Saturday at 11 AM with Father Tom Fowler officiating assisted by: Father Joe LeBlanc, Monsignor Joseph Woods and Father Vincent Donovan. Burial will take place in the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church Cemetery later in the spring. In Ann's memory, donations may be made to the IWK Hospital.
