Frances Smith

It is with deep sadness that we say good-bye to a great man who passed away at the Lakeshore General Hospital April 19th 2004, at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Mrs. Regina Savoie, dear father to: Vivian (Fraser), Diane (Donald) and Claude (Sherry), loving grandfather to: Angie (Paul), Connie (Gerald), Raymond, Crystal and David, great-grandfather to: Randi, Kate, Hunter, and Brandon, predeceased by sisters: Greta and Malvina, will be greatly missed brothers and sisters: Leonard (Claudia), Richard (late Emma), Dorina (late Leonard) and Bertha (late René), and by other relatives and friends.

Doreen MacLean

Doreen MacLean of 442 Adelaide St., Dalhousie, wife of Sandy MacLean, passed away in Dalhousie on Sunday, May 30th, she was 69

Born in Campbellton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Duguay and the late Irene Lebel. She was active in the Catholic Women's League and as a volunteer at the St., Joseph's Hospital.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Anne Marie and two sons, Frank (Darleen) and Russell (Rachel), all of Dalhousie and three grandchildren, Sari, Jeffery and Stacie

She was predeceased by a daughter, Bernadette

John Carrier

The death of John D. Carrier of Gravelhill occurred on Tuesday, May 25th 2004, at the St. Joseph's Hospital in Dalhousie at the age of 75

Born in Lorne, he was the son of the late John David Carrier and the late Lena Bertin

He is survived by his wife Leona LaPointe, sons Randy (Valerie), Phillip (Shelly), David, and Sherman all of Gravelhill; daughters Valerie LaPointe (Leo), Barbara Anne Carrier (Basil) both of Gravelhill, Annie Russell (Robert), Maria Carrier, Molly Frisen (Glenn) all of Bathurst and Jeannie Carrier of Charlo. He is also survived by a sister Martina Carrier of Lorne, 17 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents and sisters Sylvia and Delina.

Marcia Drapeau

The death of Marcia Drapeau of Eel River Crossing occurred at the St. Joseph's Hospital in Dalhousie on May 29th 2004

Born in Eel River Crossing on March 6th 1932 se was the daughter of the late Emmanuel Pitre and the late Christine Nadeau

Se will be sadly missed by her husband Phillippe Drapeau, son Roger (Sally) Drapeau of Campbellton, sister Madelaine Pitre, brothers Fernand (Pete) Pitre and Denis Pitre, as well as one granddaughter Natasha

She was predeceased by her parents, brothers Maurice and Israel and sisters Therese and Marie.
