Pearl Chamberlain

The death of Pearl Chamberlain of Sunnyside occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of Campbellton Regional Hospital July 11, 2009 at the age of 84. Born in Sunnyside,she was the daughter of the late John Furlotte & the late Ida(Carrier). She is survived by her sons, Reggie (Barb)of Kitimat, BC., Rick (Rose) of Cambridge, ON.; Daughters: Marsha Taylor of Cambridge ON., Diane Goodine Nash (Joe) of St. Catherines ON., Donna Mallaley (Roy) of Sunnyside, 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren & one great great grandchild. She is also survived by her sister Gladys Driscoll & brother Eugene. She was pre-deceased by her husband Alex, sons: Michael & Vincent; brothers Kenneth & Edgar as well as her sister Eunice. Her funeral was held from St. Gabriels Church, Jacquet River, Wednesday, July 15, 2009 officiated by Father David Ferguson. Pallbearers were Robert Goodine, Collin Goodine, Michael Chamberlain, Cory Mallaley, Breck Chamberlain & Dalton Furlotte. Donations to the Alzheimers Assoc or Palliative Care Unit of Campbellton Hospital in memory of Pearl would be appreciated by the family. Eveline Legacy
1951 - 2009

At the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Friday, July 24, 2009 at the age of 58 years, passed away Mrs. Eveline Legacy of Richardsville, wife of Ben Jr. Legacy. She was the daughter of Mrs. Yvonne (Poirier) Robichaud and the late Anselme Robichaud. She will be sadly missed by her husband, Ben; her children: Allain of Ottawa, François of Moncton & Melanie (Mathieu Audet) of Gatineau; her loving mother, Yvonne Robichaud of McLeods; her sisters and brothers: Ronald (Gloria) of Shediac, Claudette (Gerry) of Montreal, Denise (John) of Hamilton, Nicole (Rick) of Windsor, Daniel (Denise) of Campbellton & Marcel (Christine) of Dalhousie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and by many friends. She was predeceased by her father, Anselme. The funeral mass was held on Monday, July 27, 2009 in the Mary Queen Church, Richardsville and officiated by Father Romeo Morrison with burial in the parish cemetery. Althea Lois Godun (Duncan)

Althea Lois Godun (Duncan) born in Campbellton, New Brunswick, resident of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, beloved wife and friend of Wally Godun passed away on Saturday July 4, 2009 at the Rocky Mountain House Hospital. She will be sadly missed by son Jeff (Jill) and grandchildren Ella and Evan of San Diego, California, brother Lonnie (Nancy) Duncan of Calgary, Alberta, sister, Marie (Bruce) Murray of West Vancouver and sister-in-law Betty (Jim) Diack of Qualicum Beach and their families. A memorial service was held in Rocky Mountain, Alberta on Friday July 10, 2009 from the Rocky Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association, PO Box 26331, STN BRMB, Toronto, ON, M7Y 4R1.

Jacques Audet
1962 - 2009

Passed away accidentally on Sunday, July 26, 2009 at the age of 46 Jacques Audet, of Charlo, NB, son of Jean Audet and Therese Bellefleur. He is survived by his loving parents, Jean and Therese, and six brothers and sisters: Monique (Mitchell Rogers) of Fredericton, NB; Maurice (Ginette Plante) of Saint-Basile-Le-Grand, PQ; Jean-Guy of Charlo, NB; Andre Audet of Charlo, NB; Louise (Gilles Blanchard) of Charlo, NB and Rachel (Blake Hunter) de Fredericton, NB. He is also survived by nieces and nephews: Daniel, Luc, Melissa, Mathieu, Annick, Jason, Alexa, John and Lucas. Pallbearers were Maurice Audet, Jean-Guy Audet, Andre Audet, Luc Rogers, Jason Audet and Mathieu Blanchard. His funeral was held from the Saint-Francois Xavier Church, Charlo, NB on Thursday, July 30, 2009 officiated by Father Regent Landry. Interment at the Parish Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Balmoral, NB.

Robert ( Bobby) Valdron
1935 - 2009

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Valdron on July 19 at the palliative unit at Campbellton NB, at the age of 74. Born in Dalhousie on May 19, 1935, son of the late Irene Shearer, and the late Adelard ( Babe) Valdron. He leaves to mourn his wife of 44 years Claudette Goupil; son-in-law Michel Carrier and grand-son Mathieu both of Moncton. He also leaves his four sisters: Marlene LeBlanc, June Hickey, Arlene Valdron, of Dalhousie, and Brenda (Ozzie Dobson) of Campbellton; three brothers: Wayne, Wesley (Valery), Kenny (Libby Innis) from London Ont and sister in law Dorothy all from London Ont., who will greatly miss their Dear Brother Bobby. Many nieces, nephew and friends. He was loved and will be sadly missed by his wife's family, Marc-Andre Goupille, Port Coquitlam BC, Gaetane Goupil Lavigne (Robert) Coquitlam BC, Jean Roch Goupil (Gisele) and his special Buddy, uncle Albenie Goupil. Robert was predeceased by his parents; his daughter Debbie (July 2002); three brothers: Brian, Ron, and Glen. Robert was employed at the NBIP-Bowater as a security guard for 24 years until his retirement in 1984. He then took up cross country skiing and bicycling, two of his favorite sports. He enjoyed every minute of keeping fit and was always breaking his previous records. He also enjoyed rollerblading. Anything Robert ever undertook was always done with great determination and pride. No matter how difficult the task, he saw it to the end. With the same determination and dignity he battled cancer. You will be missed more than you could have ever imagined. Love you forever with all our hearts. Rest in peace my Love. Donations may be made to the extramural Dalhousie or the Palliative Unit of Campbellton.
