Paul Tatlock

The death of Paul Tatlock of Bathurst & formerly of Nash Creek occurred at the Bathurst Regional Hospital Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at the age of 66. Born in Plaster Rock, he was the son of the late Thomas Tatlock & the late Vera (Crowley). Paul was employed for 34 years with the Dept. of Natural resources He is survived by his wife Marsha (Hickey); daughters Kimberly of Dalhousie & Joy Cummings (Kevin) of Dieppe; son Rodney (Kerrie) of Waasis; grandchildren Drake, Fallon & Rowan. He is also survived by his brothers Thomas & Edward as well as his sisters Avis Fitton, Adele Kinney & Teresa Kennedy. His funeral was held at St.Gabriels Church Jacquet River, Friday June 25, 2010 at 2 PM officiated by Father Chamberlain. Pallbearers were Robert Furlotte, Arthur Guitard, Howard Hickey, Robert Kennedy, Kenneth LaPointe, Lionel Doucet, Lorden Driscoll & Joseph Furlotte. Sheldon Bertin

The death of Sheldon Bertin occured on June 24th, 2010 at the Georges Dumont Hospital in Moncton, at the age of 43. Pre-deceased by his mother Marina Bertin, he is survived by his father James Bertin of Doyleville and grandmother, Janie Bertin of Gravelhill. He is also survived by his daughter, Chloe Carrier of Lorne; fiance Monique Hickey of Lorne; brother, Neil Bertin (Anita) of Gravelhill; sisters, Pamela Bertin (Sherman) of Gravelhill, Shelley Bertin (Lane) of Gravelhill. He also left to mourn many neices, nephews, aunts, uncles, family and friends. His funeral was held from St.Joseph Church Nash Creek, Monday, June 28th, 2010 at 11 am officiated by Father Chamberlain. Pallbearers were Jamie LaPointe, Glenn Carrier, Jimmy Hilliard, Clay LaPointe, Claude LaPointe and Pierre O'Brien. Paul Joseph Doucet

The death of Paul Joseph Doucet of Campbellton, husband of Françoise (Dubé) Doucet, occurred on Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at the Dr. George Dumont Hospital in Moncton. Born in Mégantic, Quebec, he was the son of the late Henri and Marguerite Doucet. He worked for Canadian Tire Corp., One Stop Building Supplies, T.R. McKenzie Co. and most recently for the Restigouche Golf and Country Club. Besides his loving wife of 52 years, Françoise, Paul is also survived by four children, Paul-Émile (Lisette) of Scoudouc, Rhéal (Wavey) of Memramcook, Pauline (Hedley Stark) of Dundee and Carolle (Maurice Arsenault) of Campbellton, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one child, Joseph. Funeral mass was celebrated at Our-Lady-of-Snows Catholic Church, Campbellton, on Saturday, June 26, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation. Maizie Steeves

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on June 18, 2010 at the age of 80, Mrs. Maizie Elizabeth (Laviolette) Steeves of Atholville. She was the daughter of the late Frederick Laviolette and the late Mary Ellen Furlotte. She leaves to mourn, her husband James William Steeves; her son James Robert (Paulette); her daughters Janet (Brian), Brenda (Fred), Kathy (Jean); son-in-law Ivan; her grandchildren Paula, Ryan, Justin, Jamie, Heidi, Jobina and Katie, her great granddaughter Julianna. Predeceased by her parents, her daughter Dianne, her sisters May, Shirley, Charlotte and Gladys, her brothers Billy and Norbert. The funeral was held on June 21, 2010 at the St. Thomas Aquinas church, Campbellton officiated by Father Bill Arseneault. Interment was at the Atholville cemetery in Tide Head. Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.

Iris Rose McDavid Paradis

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on June 23, 2010 at the age of 70, Mrs. Iris Rose McDavid Paradis of Pointe-à-la-Croix. Born in Mann Settlement, QC on August 31, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Kelly McDavid and the late Jean Irvine. She leaves to mourn her daughters Marlene, Joanne McDavid and Lisa; her sisters Daisy Mann, Earleen Dobson, Bonnie McDavid, Martha McDavid and Wendy McDavid; her brother Lindsay McDavid. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and some very loyal people including Tony Mitchell, Kevin Irvine and especially Ian Wallis. Predeceased by her mother, father, husband and her sister Joyce McDavid. The funeral service was held from Maher's Funeral Chapel, Campbellton on Monday June 28th at 11am. Reverend Jim Postlethwaite officiating. Interment at the Dawsonville Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tony Mitchell, Kevin Irvine, Ian Wallis, Derrick Dobson, Larry Dobson and Regis Legacy. Cyr Delaney

With much sorrow we announce the passing of Cyr Delaney who died suddenly in his home at the age of 84. He was born on March 16th, 1926, in St. Leonard, NB, to Matte Cyr and Henry Delaney. He was a member of the Dalhousie Fire Dept for 35 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and he enjoyed time spent at his cottage. He was a very quiet man but his presence was great. He is survived by his daughter, Heather Delaney; his sister, Ruth Nadeau; his grandchildren, Tracy Esliger (Carl), Jennifer Hamilton (Dwayne) and Gregory Delaney (Aloma); his great-grandchildren Kathleen Esliger, Jillian Esliger, Tennyson Delaney and Aidan Hamilton; and his daughter-in-law, Denise Delaney. He is predeceased by his wife, Bertha (Teddy) Savoy; his son, Douglas (Ricky) Delaney; and his sister, Velma McCormack. The funeral was held on Monday, June 28th, at 11:00 a.m. at Saint John Bosco Church. Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Dalhousie.

Aline Jones 1921-2010

Aline Jones of Dalhousie, NB passed away peacefully at the Dalhousie Nursing Home, Sunday, June 27th, 2010 at the age of 89. She was the wife of the late Warry Jones. Born in Balmoral on March 1st, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Leo Godin and the late Claire Arseneault. She leaves to mourn her daughter Kathleen Jones (Leo Arseneault) of Dalhousie, NB, one son Warry Jones Jr. (Linda Keays) of Charlo, NB, three sisters Jacqueline Poirier of Scarborough, ON, Shirley Boissonneault of Dalhousie Junction, NB and Nicole Paulin (Jean) of Dalhousie, one brother Herby Godin (Celine) of Dalhousie, two grand-daughters Melissa Jones (Anthony Snyder) of Quispamsis, NB and Jennifer, Montreal, two great grandchildren Olivia and Lukah Snyder. Predeceased by two sisters Blanche Poirier (Benoit) and Leola Pelletier (Phamphile). The funeral mass was held from St. John Baptist Church Dalhousie on Wednesday, June 30th at 11am.
