David Joseph Mallaley
Passed away peacefully at the Campbellton Regional Hospital's Veterans Unit, June 7, 2004, at the age of 88, David Joseph Mallaley.
Born in Nash Creek, he was the son of the late Thomas Mallaley and Clara Carrier.
He was survived by sons, Michael (Joan) of Cambridge, Ont., Johnny (Eva) of Cambridge, Ont., Ronald (Alice) of Cambridge, Ont., Hector of Cambridge, Ont., Sheldon of Saint John, N.B., daughters; Florence Hickey of Cambridge, Ont., Shirley White (David) of Cambridge, Ont., Jeannine (Dionne) Jean of Armstrong, N.B. and Donna Guthro (Dana) of Moncton, N.B. He is also survived by his brothers Alexander and Edward of Lorne, N.B., and sister Mary Emma LaPointe of Fredericton, N.B.
He will be sadly missed by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wide Annie (Bertin); sons David and Hector; daughter Opal; brothers Raymond, Tommy, Johnny, Joseph and Xavier; sisters Margaret, Sarah Jane and Gertie.
His funeral was held from St. Joseph's Church in Nash Creek, Thursday, June 10, 2004, officiated by Father Lionel Comeau, with burial in the Parish Cemetery. A Legion service was held following the funeral service. Pallbearers were: Shawn Mallaley, Edward Lapointe, Clay Lapointe, Michael Mallaley, Allison Hickey and Kevin Mallaley.

John Berube
The death of John Berube of 62 Matheson St. Campbellton occurred at his residence on June 5, 2004. Born in Campbellton on January 13, 1958, he was the son of Emile Berube and the late Doris Cantwell. John was employed as an electrician.
He is survived by his father Emile Berube; daughter Cara Berube; son Jacob Berub; sisters Sharon (Chester) Anglehart of Campbellton, Barbara (Roger) Gregoire of Moncton, Marlene (Bob) Steeves of Moncton, Opal Berube of Toronto and Donna Quinn of Nova Scotia; brothers Terry Berube of Nova Scotia, Jimmy Berube of Montreal, Robert (Margaret) Berube of Miramichi and Tommy (Kelly) Berube of Campbellton.
He was predeceased by his mother, Mrs. Doris (Cantwell) Berube.
The funeral was held from Maher's Funeral Chapel, Campbellton on June 10, 2004. Burial was in the St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, Campbellton. Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Dignity memorial, Campbellton.
Joseph Parent
The death of Joseph Emile Raymond Parent of Dalhousie occurred at St. Joseph Hospital in Dalhousie on June 11, 2004, at the age of 60.
Born in Dalhousie, he was the son of the late Emile Parent and the late Edna Fitzsimmons. Joseph worked as a travel agent with Air Canada.
He will be sadly missed by his sisters Jeannette LaPointe of Dalhousie and Jeannine Jean of Point la Nim; brother Jimmy Parent of Dalhousie; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Emile and Edna.
