Isabella Margaret Court

COURT, Isabella Margaret (Adams) 94, of Howick, Quebec, formerly of Escuminac, Quebec, wife of the late Walton Court, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2005.

Mother of Sharon (Norman Fletcher) and Kenneth (Marilyn Smith). Grandmother of Nancy (John Stacey) and Ronald Fletcher (Fiona Martin), Lynn and Natalie Court (Roger Ross). Great grandmother of 8. Sister of Beth (Maynard Pursey), Harold and Herbert Adams.

Predeceased by brothers Graham, Cameron, and Douglas. Memorial service was held from Howick United Church on Sunday, June 19, 2005. Burial will be in the Escuminac United Church Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Women's Auxiliary of the Barrie Memorial Hospital, Ormstown would be appreciated. Arrangements were in the care of J.M. Loiselle, Ste. Martine, Quebec.

Shirley Meade

Shirley Meade of Nash Creek, wife of the late Ernest Meade, passed away Monday June 20, 2005, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst at the age of 71.

Born in Belledune, Shirley was the daughter of the late Dennis McDonnell and Estella Beaudry. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Shirley delivered mail in rain, hail, sleet, and snow for 35 years and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion.

She is survived by sons Ronald of Nash Creek, Donald (Sally) of Jacquet River, Bryan (Ann) of Nash Creek, Perry (Lisa) of California, Patrick of Hamilton, ON and daughter Cheryl Tardif (Austin) of Belledune. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, and brother Wayne McDonnell (Frances) of Fredericton.

She was predeceased by brothers Lindsay, Floyd (Chum), John (Jack), Leroy (Roy), Merlin (Merle), and sister Marina (Rena).

Her funeral was held June 23, 2005, from St. John the Evangelist Church, Belledune, officiated by Father Wilfred Benoit, with burial in the St. Gabriel Parish Cemetery. Pallbearers were sons Ronald, Donald, Perry, and Patrick, brother Wayne McDonnell, and grandson Michael Meade. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palliative Care unit at the Chaleur Regional Hospital or to the charity of the donor's choice. Helen Marie Sullivan

The death of Helen Marie Sullivan, resident of the Village Nursing Home, occurred at the nursing home on June 21, 2005, at the age of 77.

Born in Rexton, N.B., on December 15, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Roach and the late Mary Targett. Helen was a retired nurse after 40 years of service, member of the St. Thomas Aquinas C.W.L. and New Brunswick Nursing Association.

Surviving is her daughters Margo (Leo) Boyd of Edmonton, Alberta and Mary Beiseker of Alberta, sons John of Grande Digue, N.B. and Barrie of Mexico-Vancouver, sisters Margaret, Myrtle, Charlotte, Annie and Albena. Also surviving are grandchildren Scott, Heidi, Julia and Kenny and one great granddaughter Kadyn.

Predeceasing was her husband Gordon Sullivan on August 7, 1970 and her mother and father.

The funeral was held from St. Thomas Aquinas Church on June 25, 2005, officiated by Rev. Culligan, with interment in Our Lady of Snows Cemetery in Campbellton. Pallbearers were Leo Boyd (son-in-law), Frank Sullivan (brother-in-law), Scott Sullivan (grandson), Ken Murray (friend), Davie Doucett (friend), and Ralph Mann (cousin). Nurses: honour guard. Funeral arrangements were placed in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.

Frederic A. Cooling

The death of Frederic A. Cooling of Dawsonville, N.B., occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on June 23, 2005, at the age of 81.

Born in Dawsonville, N.B., on March 29, 1924, he was the son of the late James Cooling and the late Gertrude Thompson. Frederic was a retired employee with the Department of Fisheries and Ocean.

Surviving is his wife Susan, daughters Sue Anne (Dave) Billingham of Dawsonville, N.B., Heather of Dawsonville, N.B., and Mary Lou (Darryl) Cook of Milton, Ontario, sisters Lillian Thompson, Eileen (Garnet) Allen, Maxine (Baden) Firth, Faye (Walter) Mann, sister-in-law Bernice, sister-in-law Marena, brothers Malcolm, Reggie, Auley (Helen), Harry, Ronnie and Robert (Elaine). Also surviving are grandchildren Tracy Glass, Charlie Archibald, Sarah Anderson, Sandra Anderson, Deanna Cook and Abigail Cook, great grandchildren Scarlett, Mathew, Joshua and Gracie, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Predeceasing were brothers Ralph (Etta), William and Sterling and sister Betty.

The funeral was held from Maher's Funeral Home on June 26, 2005, officiated by Olive Ann Archibald, LPM, with interment in the Dawsonville Rural Cemetery. Pallbearers were Wayman Dunn, Allison Dunn, Allison Cooling, John Cooling, Howard Cooling and David Firth. Honourary pallbearers were Ralph Nichol, Don Harris, George Morrison, Leland Pollock, Allan Cooling and Bert Blair. Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.
