Bobby Harvey

The death of Robert (Bobby) Harvey of London England & formerly of Nash Creek, occured May 22/07 in England at the age of 42.

He is survived by his parents Murray & Emmaline (Carrier) Harvey,as well as his brothers Jimmy (Linda) of Jacquet River,Danny (Marlene) of Jacquet River,Clayton (Brenda) of Nash Creek Jeff (Karen) of Dalhousie and sisters Linda Allard (Andre) of Kingston ON, Glenda Guitard of Fredericton & sister in law Dominique Harvey of Old Chelsea Quebec.

He was pre-deceased by his brothers Gene Tim & Bert.

His funeral was held from St.Joseph Church, Nash Creek Saturday June 9,2007 with interment in the parish Cemetery officiated by Father David Ferguson.

Funeral arrangements were in the care of MacMillans Funeral Home,Black Point.

Hectorine Arseneault

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on June 2, 2007 at the age of 91, Mrs. Hectorine Arseneault.

Born in Pokemouche, NB on July 27, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Anthime Chiasson and the late Pauline Noël.

She leaves to mourn her son Daniel (Claire), her grandchildren Danica Arseneault from Eel River Crossing, Stephane Arseneault from Moncton, her 2 great-grandchildren Kayla and Tyler Bastarache, her brother Paul Chiasson from Dalhousie and her sister Annette Blais from Vancouver.

The funeral mass was held from St.-John Baptist Church Dalhousie on Thursday June 7th at 4pm. Father Landry officiating.

Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher’s Funeral Home, Dalhousie.

Côté, Greta (Fournier)

Retired CNR – Campbellton, N.B.

Died peacefully at the Manoir Antoinette on June 1, 2007 at the age of 86.

Widow of the late Gérard Côté, she is predeceased by her parents Alexis and Doris (Grenier) Fournier, her sisters Eveline and June, her brothers Edgar, Paul, Lionel, Lorne, Maurice and Georges. She is survived by her sister, Nora Michaud, ten nieces and five nephews. Her nieces, Monique Fournier-Redding and Lise Fournier Ausman (Ottawa), have lost a very loving aunt. She is fondly remembered by her sister-in-law, Rita Fournier-Bain (Ottawa).

Mrs. Côté had an active 40 year career at Canadian National Railways. Mrs. Côté was a classical pianist and played for the “Stardusters” for many years.

The family extends their deep gratitude to the caring and dedicated staff of Le Manoir Antoinette for making her final days so comfortable and peaceful. Special thanks to her former neighbour and friend, Rena Parker, for being so supportive to Greta over the years.

A Funeral Mass was held on June 5, 2007 in Our Lady of Snows Parish followed by interment of ashes in the parish’s cemetery. Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher’s Funeral Home, Campbellton.

Hector Doucet

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on June 5, 2007 at the age of 83, Mr. Hector Doucet.

He leaves to mourn his wife Hilda Durette Doucet, his children Hector Jr. (Jackie) Doucet of Campbellton, Anne (Harvey) Simmons of Campbellton, Glen (Coleen) Doucet of Thompson, Brian (Ann) Doucet of Oshawa and Kim (Martin) Perreault of Moncton. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

The funeral mass was held from St. Thomas Aquinas Church Campbellton on Friday June 8th at 11am. Father Bill Arseneault officiating.

Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher’s Funeral Home, Campbellton.

James William “Jim” Sullivan
(formerly of Halifax)

Passed away peacefully at his home in Oakville, Ontario, after a brief illness, on Friday, June 1, 2007, in his 68th year.

Much beloved husband of Jane (Dede) and the late Mary. Loving father of Marc and his fiancée Tracy of Toronto, David and his wife Jodie of Halifax and step-father of Dan and his wife Christine of Bracebridge.

Proud grandfather of Austin James (A.J.), Kaitlyn, Kristen and Andrew. Survived by his brother David Lyle and his wife Lin of Victoria.

He will also be missed by the Andrew family. Friends were received at the Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hey 10 N. of QEW) on Sunday, June 3 and Monday, June 4.

A funeral service was held in the chapel on Tuesday, June 5, 2007, with interment Springcreek Cemetery.

For those who wish, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

John Meade

The death of John Meade of Jacquet River occured at Bathurst Regional hospital June 5/07 at the age of 79.

born in Mitchell,he was the son of Pat Meade & Leona Firlotte Meade and worked as a watchmaker in the areea for many years.

He is survived by his son Michael of Jacquet River & daughter Marlene Daye(Doug) of St.John.

He is also survived by his 2 grandchildren Matthew & Laura.

He was pre-deceased by his brothers Ernie,Michael,William,Arthur & Hubert.There will be no funeral service or visitation at the funeral home.Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillans Funeral Home,Black Point.

Kyle Gallen

The passing of Kyle Robert Gallen of Fredericton,occured on June 3,2007.Born on September 11,1987 in Fredericton,he was the beloved son of Nancy & Bob Gallen and older brother to Morgan & Brandon Gallen.He was a grandson of Rankin and Sandra(Buttimer) Dickie of Charlo,NB and Bud and Dorothy"Dot"(LaPointe) Gallen of Seaside, NB.Kyle is also survived by numerous aunts,uncles & cousins.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home,302 Brookside Dr.Fredericton on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.A funeral service will be held from Zion United Church,New Mills on Saturday,June 9 at 3 PM.Interment in the church Cemetery with reception to follow.In lieu of flowers,rememberances made to the Tourette Syndrome Foundation of Canada,Fredericton Emergency Shelter Inc. or charity of the donars choice would be appreciated by the family.Personal condolances may be offered through www.macmillansfuneralhome.ca

Peggy Furlotte

The death of Margaret(Peggy)Furlotte of Dalhousie occured at Campbellton Regional Hospital Monday at the age of 85.

Born in Kilmore Quay County Wexford Ireland,the daughter of Frederick Hill & Bridgette Blake Hill.

She is survived by her daughter Diane Furlotte(Wally) of Dalhousie,Sons David(Linda) of Moncton,Melvin(Anne) of St.John,Wade(Joanne) of Dalhousie,9 grandchildren,5 greatgrandchildren & a sister Una Hanley,3 step grandchildren & 5 step greatgrandchildren.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Jarvis & son Bobby.

Her funeral was held from St.John Bosco Church Dalhousie, Friday June 01,2007 officiated by Father Bill Arseneault.

Funeral arrangements were in the care of MacMillans Funeral Home,Black Point.
