Passed away peacefully with her family and close friends at her side at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on June 28, 2010 at the age of 92. Born in Campbellton, NB on March 3, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Simon F. and the late Mary Jane (Callaghan) Mahoney. Left to mourn her passing are her only daughter Barbara (Daryl) Irvine of Campbellton, NB, grandson Danny (Ronetta) Higgins, great grandchildren Sarah and Josh Higgins of Sherwood Park, AB, her step granddaughter Laurie McLaughlin, step grandson Tim (Kelly) Irvine, step great grandchildren Kyle McLaughlin, Morgan and Racheal Irvine and Areauna Solmon all of Moncton, NB. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Wanda, Lillian, Ethel & Mary, brothers Arnold, Charlie, Howard and Bob. The funeral mass was held from St. Anthony's Church Glen Levit on Saturday, July 3rd at 11am. Father Bill Arseneault officiating. Interment at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Tide Head. Pallbearers were Roland Gallant, Roland Auffrey, Dave Wisener, Tim Irvine, Danny Higgins and Josh Higgins. Honorary Pallbearers were Elmer Thompson, Kerry Thompson, Ronnie Dube, Arnold Firlotte, Russy Irvine, Gary Irvine, Alma Mercier, Susan Landry, Ann Firlotte, Shirley Gallant, Nathalie Larocque, Patsy Auffrey, Edna Mahoney, Laurie McLaughlin, Kelly Irvine, Maxine Price and Brenda Murray. Barb and Daryl would like to extend their gratitude to all members of the family and dear friends who gave their unwavering support this past year. Anne-Marie Bernard Oczkus 1942-2010

Passed away May 20th at the age of 68 in Laval, Quebec. She was the daughter of the late Ludger Bernard and his wife Vivian of Dalhousie. She is survived by her husband Walter and her daughters, Marie-Claude (Richard), Nathalie and her grandson Joshua. She also leaves to mourn her sisters Diana (Jean), Julia (Lucien) and her brothers Roland (Lorie) and Francis as well as other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at St-Jean Baptiste church in Dalhousie Saturday, July 17th at 11am.
