Lloyd Faulds

The death of Lloyd Faulds of Durham Bridge,NB,occured at his residence Wednesday,Aug.15,2012 at the age of 63.Born in Nash Creek,he was the son of the late James & Blanche (Audet) Faulds.

Lloyd is survived by his wife Ann Marie (Gagnon);son Rick of Fredericton;brothers Albert & Bill as well as his sisters Diane Gagnon,Christine Faulds & Paula Ford.

He was predeceased by his brothers Raymond & Paul and sister Annie Mann.

Joe P. Doucet

Tuesday, August 28th, 2012 at the Dalhousie St. Joseph Hospital Palliative Care Unit in his 81st year, passed away Mr. Joe P. Doucet of Eel River Crossing, husband of Mrs. Ethel (Lavalley) Doucet.

He was the son of the late Ernestine (Pelletier) and the late Polydore Doucet.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Ethel, his children: Louise (Yvon Carrier) of Eel River Crossing, Ginette (Daniel Godin) of Cap Pele, Pierrot (Heather Parker) of Campbellton, Michel (Claudia Doucet) of Nigadoo and Gaby (Carol Letourneau) of Eel River Crossing; his 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; his sisters: Estelle Levesque of Balmoral, Alexina Pelletier of Dundee and Lyly (Elisee Lepage) of Balmoral; his brothers: Paul (Marie-Ange) of Balmoral, Philibert (Barbara) of Balmoral and Adrien (Lorraine) of Eel River Crossing also by many nieces, nephews, members of the Lavalley’s family and friends.

Evangeline Malley

Passed away at the Palliative care unit of the Campbellton Regional Hospital on August 30, 2012 at the age of 79, Mrs. Evangeline (Bealou) Malley Miller.

She leaves behind her children Ron Malley (Denise), Anne Miller (Claudette), special nieces Tammy MacFadyen (Glen), Brook & Jaydon, Kim MacDonald (Steve). Also survived by her 2 grandchildren Lee and Shawn, 4 sisters, 2 brothers, many nieces, nephews and lots of special friends. Predeceased by her husband George Miller.

The funeral service will be held from Maher's Funeral Chapel Campbellton on Monday September 3rd at 2pm. Father Maurice Frenette officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palliative care unit of the Campbellton Regional Hospital.

Gregory Arthur Blanchard

It is with incredible sadness that we announce the loss of Gregory Arthur Blanchard, 73, on August 25, 2012, at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, in Halifax, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born in Dalhousie, New Brunswick, he was the son of the late Leo and Mary (Lawler) Blanchard.

In 1957, Greg graduated from Dalhousie Regional High School, where he was an outstanding basketball player, and remained in Dalhousie working for the Bank of Montreal. He attended Saint Francis Xavier University and graduated in 1964 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, and later with a Bachelor of Education degree.

Greg worked with INCO in Thompson, Manitoba from 1961 to 1963, returned to Antigonish to complete his degree, began working for CIL in Montreal in 1964 and transferred to Halifax in 1967.

In 1969, Greg began teaching at the Nova Scotia Eastern Institute of Technology, in Sydney, NS, where he became actively involved in the Nova Scotia Government Employees Association, first on local committees and then as the secretary-treasurer on the Association's executive. In 1980 he was elected as the part time president of the Association and in 1981, the Association became the Nova Scotia Government Employees Union and Greg was elected the NSGEU's first full-time president, moved to Dartmouth, NS with his family, and was elected to six subsequent two year terms. It was a position he held with great pride and dedication until his retirement in 1994.

Greg summered in Ingonish at the family cottage, was an avid golfer, loved to fish and hunt, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also spent time in North Redington Beach, Florida, over the last 20 years, where he made many lifelong friends.

Along with Anne, his wife of 46 years, Greg is survived by daughters Seana Blanchard and Anita (Blanchard) MacLeod; sons-in-law Jeff MacLeod and Glen MacIsaac; grandson Gregor MacLeod; granddaughters Lea MacLeod, Ella MacIsaac, and Lilah MacIsaac; brother Jimmy (Doneva) Blanchard; sister Jane (Lester) Sutton; brothers-in-law Brian (Margie) Curtis, and Redmond (Rosella) Curtis; and many nephews, nieces, and great friends. Greg was predeceased by his parents Leo and Mary Blanchard; sister Catherine (John) Moore; brother Tommy (Mae) Blanchard; and most recently, his only son, Liam Blanchard.

Robert Loubert

The death of Robert Loubert of Jacquet River occured at the Palliative Care Unit of St. Joseph Hospital Sunday August 26, 2012 at the age of 73.

Born in Jacquet River, he was the son of the late Jack Loubert & Laura (Firlotte). Robert served in the military as a Combat Vehicle Technologist for thirty years in various locations around the world.

He is survived by his wife Mary Jean Firlotte, daughter Michelle Servage(David) of Ottawa; sons Glen (Sandra) of Ottawa, Grant (Katherine) of Ottawa; five grandchildren; brothers Nat, Ken & Ronnie as well as his sisters Esther Wooden, Charlotte Claugen & Helen James.

Berneta Craswell

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on September 5, 2012 at the age of 76, Mrs. Berneta Craswell.

She was retired from Toad Brook Fishing Camp, where she worked as a cook for many years.

She leaves to mourn her daughter Shelly Farrar (Chris) of Tide Head, NB, her sons Randy Falle (Debbie) of Runnymede, QC, Wade Falle (Sue) Grande Prairie, AB and Danny Falle (Tracey) of Runnymede, QC, her brother Gerald Craswell (Ruby) of Tide Head, NB, her sisters Joyce Morrison (John) of Dawsonville, NB, and Donna Carman (Craig) of St. Thomas, ON.

Also survived by her 7 grandchildren Kristy, Brad, Adam, Tyson, Jillian, Chelsea & Tristan, 2 great-grandchildren Corbin & Baya, stepmother Beulah Craswell of Flatlands. Predeceased by her father Elmer Craswell, mother Dorothy Kaine, brothers Lawson and James Craswell.

Bruce E. Metallic
1967-2012

Monday, August 26th, 2012 at his residence of Taunton, Massachusetts and formerly of Listuguj at the age of 45, passed away Bruce E. Metallic. He was the son of Mrs. Melvina Swasson and the late Edward Metallic.

He will be sadly missed by his mother Melvina of Listuguj; his daughter Ietoneronni Beauvais of Kanawaki; his brothers: Ken Flower and Dwayne Jerome of Maria. He will also be missed by several aunts, uncles and friends.

Bruce was predeceased by his father Edward Metallic.

Clarence Allard

Passed away at the Palliative care unit in Dalhousie on September 10, 2012 at the age of 79, Mr. Clarence Allard of Dalhousie, husband of Dorilda Allard.

Alice Parker

Passed away at the Pavillion Sr Edmee-Martin of Campbellton on August 2, 2012 at the age of 91, Alice Parker. She was the daughter of the late Charles Parker and the late Suzanne Ferlatte. Alice was a member of the Congregation des Filles du Coeur de Marie de Montreal since 1968.

She will be sadly missed by her sister Germaine Parker Lavigne, her brother Roger, sisters-in-law Therese (Robert) and Alyuna (Paul), many nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by all the members of Les Filles de Marie de l'Assomption of Campbellton where she was living for the past seven years.

She was predeceased by her parents, brothers Leo, Paul, Robert and sister Rita.
