Leon Bujold

Passed away from Cancer at the Palliative Care Unit in Dalhousie on July 12, 2009 at the age of 53, Leon Bujold. Born in Balmoral on February 3, 1956, he was the Son of the late Valmond Bujold and his Mother Therese (Dugas) Bujold. He leaves to mourn his friend Antonia (Tony) Blanchard of Dalhousie, his Mother Therese Arsenault (Cyrus); his sisters, Laurina Cormier (late Laureat), Lise LeBlanc (Fernand of Balmoral, Nicole Bujold (Michael Bourque) Shediac, N.B; Louise, Granby, Que; Line, Edmonton, AB and Julie (Pierre Cote) Carleton, QC; his brothers, Andre (Louise Lavallee) Edmonton, AB, and Rejean (Rhea Landry) of Balmoral and a half brother Jean Paul Belanger. Many cousins, nieces and nephews and lots of friends. Leon worked at Bowater for 33 years. He loved his life at his camp with his dog Blackie, hunting with friends riding his skidoo and VTT. He was president for moto-tourism for two years. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by his family. A Funeral Mass was held from St. Benoit Church, Balmoral on July 18 at 11 AM. Funeral arrangements were placed in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Balmoral.
