Elie Thériault
Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on July 9, 2010 at the age of 95, Mr. Elie Thériault. Born in Saint Paul de la Croix, QC on September 8, 1914, he was the son of the late Paul Thériault and the late Olivine Dupuis. Mr. Thériault was a cook for 40 years. He took care of his wife Laurette for 10 years while staying at the Village. He was the taxi for the residents of the 3rd floor at the Campbellton Village Nursing Home. He leaves to mourn his daughters Lise Côté from Atholville, Charlotte (François Rivet), Bella (Ronald Durepos) St-Joseph du Lac, Mariette (Jean-Marc Violet) St-Leonard, NB, Monique from Seattle and Danielle Lac Huron, ON, his sons Marcel Oka, QC, Jean-Guy (Suzanne) Atholville and Denis Montreal. Also survived by his grandchildren Yves, Arlette, Stéphane, Jean-Claude, Nathalie, Georges, Mélanie, François, Marc, France, Manon, Valerie, Martin, Danièle, Geneviève, Mikaël, Geneviève, Michèle and Carole, his great-grandchildren Jessica, Annie, Josée, Stephanie, Jase, Madison, Melodie, Jayden, Raphaël, Christelle, François, Dominique, Caleb, Jacob, Bianca, Zoé, Elijah, Mahala, Renaud and Samuel. Predeceased by his wife Laurette (1994). The funeral mass was held from Our Lady of Snows Church Campbellton on Monday, July 12th at 11am. Father Armel Audet officiating. Interment at the Parish Cemetery. Pallbearers were the Parish Guard Our Lady of Snows. Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.
Douglas Aubie
Douglas (Hutch) Aubie of Richardsvile, born November 5, 1949, devoted husband to Betty (Martin), passed away peacefully in Palliative Care Unit at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on June 22, 2010 at the age of 60. Douglas was a devout Catholic who belonged to the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. He was also a member of the Agape prayer group. Douglas was known for his love of Tim Horton's and his daily visits to Tim's downtown. Douglas was predeceased by his parents Warren Aubie and Eunice (Aubie) Arseneault. Douglas is survived by his two sons Raymond (St. John) and Tyson (Fredericton), his siblings, Warren Aubie (Richardsvile), Ann (Al) Aubie (Ottawa), Linda Aubie (Campbellton), Paul Aubie (Athoville), Gary (Cathy) Aubie (Campbellton), Barbara (Jimmy) Harris (Broadlands), Darlene Aubie (Malauze), Glenda (Eddie) Methot (Dalhousie) and many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral arrangements were under the care of Maher's Funeral Home in Campbellton. Funeral service was held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church on June 24, 2010 with Reverend Bill Arseneault officiating. Pallbearers were Gary Aubie, Willy Aubie, Corey Aubie, Donald Arseneault, Peter Martin and Mark Parker.
