Roderick Chedore

The death of Roderick Chedore of Point La Nim occurred February 1, 2002 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital.

He was born in Campbellton on May 22, 1923 to Philip Chedore and Elizabeth Dow and had been employed as a stationary engineer.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Godin; his mother, his sons, Keith (Lynda) Chedore and Rickey (Helene) Chedore, both of Point La Nim, and Carl (Sandra ) Chedore of Dalhousie; his brother Kenneth Chedore of Campbellton; and nine grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his father, and sons Dale (Ann) of St Andrews and Donnie (Theresa) of Dalhousie.

Amedee Bourque

The death of Amedee Bourque of Riverview, NB and formerly of Campbellton, occurred January 29, 2002 at Moncton City Hospital.

He was born in Dalhousie on July 27, 1911 to Benjamin Bourque and Marie Legere and had been a store owner in Campbellton. He was also an avid fisherman.

He is survived by daughters Rhoda (Henry) Montefrisco of Riverview and Cathy (Raymond) O'Brien of Edmundston; grandchildren Joanne (David) Hallden, Shelley (Rodney) Delaney, Tracy Montefrisco, Carey Montfrisco, Jason Montefrisco and Leah (Kelly) Tobias and by great-grandchildren Jeffrey Hallden, Courney Hallden, Erika Halden and Elyssa Delaney.

Beside his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Amelda Fitzgerald.

Hilda Christina Allain

Hilda Christina Allain, 69, of French River, Colchester County, Nova Scotia, died January 25, 2002 at Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche, N.S.

Born in French River, she was a daughter of Mary Edna (Tattrie) Mingo, Tatamagouche, and the late Fred Mingo.

She was a former employee of the T. Eaton Company, Moncton and the Royal Bank, Campbellton, before retiring. She was a member of the Sedgwick Memorial Presbyterian Church, Tatamagouche, and the Beacon Hill U.C.W. She enjoyed music, sewing, knitting an, in earlier years, liked to bowl and play golf.

Surviving are her husband Eloi, daughter Judy (Donnie) Berube of Campbellton, grandchildren Adam and Amie, both of Fredericton, brothers Raymond (Gladys) of Bayhead, Cecil of French River, sisters Mildred Fall f Moncton, Sheila (Garnet) MacPherson of Wallace, and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by brothers Ralph, Keith and Kenneth.

Carl Hugh Cooling

The death of Carl Hugh Cooling of Manoir Antoinette Atholville and formerly of Dawsonville, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on January 28, 2002 at the age of 56.

He was born in Campbellton on November 23, 1945 to Ralph Cooling and Etta Smith.

He is survived by brothers Jim (Joan) and Dennis(Lorraine0, sisters Glenna and Della (Wade), nephews Dereck, Jason and Justin and nieces Karyn, Cindy, Nicole, Crystal and Tiffany.

He was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Etta and infant sister Lila.

Mrs Ida Fraser

On Monday, January 14, 2002, Mrs. Ida Fraser of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta passed away suddenly at the age of 82.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving family; four daughters, Florence (Len) Arnott, Hazel (Ron) Ovenden, Iris (Kerry) Freund and Brenda (Hans) Noort; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Beatrice and Anna, and two brothers, Harold and Kenzler.

She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon, in 1994; daughter, Myrna, in 1986; infant daughter, Opal, in 1951 and her parents, Jack and Flora Hennigar.
