Armande Charest

Of the Village Nursing Home, Campbellton, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on July 14, 2006.

Born in Balmoral on April 23, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Ludger "Pit" Fournier and the late Aurore Levesque. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Aurore "Dawn" (John Letourneau) of Campbellton and Claudette (Yvon Thériault) of Levis, QC; her son, Roméo of Campbellton; her sister, France Lake of Eel River and her brother, Armand (Anita) of BC. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-granddaughter. She was predeceased her husband, Arthur "Pat" Charest, 2 sisters, Marie and Claire and 2 brothers, Roland and Lucien.

A funeral mass was held at Mary Queen Church in Richardsville on July 17 at 2 p.m., officiated by Father Roméo Morrison. Interment in the parish cemetery, McLeods. Pallbearers were the parish guards of Our Lady of Snows Church. Arrangements in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.

Carole Dubé

Of Matapedia, QC, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on July 6, 2006. Born in Campbellton on February 27, 1954, she was the daughter of the Roger Dubé and the late Claire Cyr.

Carole was a Secretary-Accountant for 26 years. She was a bird watcher and an excellent gardener. She will be sadly missed by her husband, Allan Falle; her father, Roger Dubé; her step-son, Mark Falle of Calgary; her sister, Lise (Jacques) of Matapedia; her brothers, Jacques (Lise) of Ottawa, Gilles (Margie) of Matapedia and Pete (Gaby) of Matapedia. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Debbie, Tammy, Cory, Jason, Marc, and Johanne. She was predeceased by Debbie Fitzgerald.

A funeral mass was held at the St. Laurent Church in Matapedia on July 10 at 11 a.m. QC time, officiated by Michel Martin (Deacon). Interment in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Walton Falle, Robert (Robbie) Lodge, Jason Dubé and Cory Fitzgerald. Arrangements in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.

Charlong (Brander), Marilyn Jean

Charlong (Brander), Marilyn - 64. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marilyn on July 23, 2006, in the Palliative Care Unit at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax.

Born in Mirimichi, Marilyn was a daughter of the late Robert and Priscilla (Mullin) Brander. Marilyn is survived by her husband Currie Charlong, Campbellton; son, Stephen (Gracie) O'Rourke, Halifax; stepdaughters, Lynn (Charlong) Lee, Halifax; Lisa Charlong, Fredericton; stepsons, Mike Charlong, Toronto; Pat Charlong, Red Deer; and Carl Charlong, Lake Louise; sister, Roberta Brander-Fouriner, Edmonton; brothers, John Brander, Mirimichi; and Jim Brander Dalhousie; 6 grandchildren .

Cremation has taken place. Viewing will be on Thursday, July 27th evening 7 to 9 PM, the memorial service will be held 2 PM Friday, July 28th in the Chapel at Mahers Funeral Home, 33 Lansdowne Street, Campbellton, E3N 2L7. Private family interment to follow. Donations in Marilyn's memory may be made to a charity of your choice. The family would like to thank everyone for there support to Marilyn over the last 14 years in her fight with cancer, your love and kindness made a huge difference in her life.

Clyde Manning Edwards
1959 - 2006

The death of Clyde Manning Edwards, age 47, of Dalhousie Junction occurred on the morning of June 27th, 2006 in a truck-Armour Transport collision at Dalhousie Junction due to poor road conditions. Born in the Soldier's Memorial Hospital in Campbellton on May 23rd, 1959, Clyde was the eldest son of Burgess and Ellen May (Mitton) Edwards.

Clyde was educated first in the community's two room school and the in the L.E. Reinsborough and Dalhousie Regional High Schools in 1978.

He continued his education at U.N.B. studying his great passion, computers. He graduated in 1984 with a degree of Bachelor of Science-Computer Science.

He worked for a number of years in Toronto before returning home due to health reasons. More recently he worked as a supply teacher at D.R.H.S.

Clyde leaves to mourn his passing, his parents, Burgess and Ellen Edwards, his brother, Mark, Dalhousie Jct., his sister, Nancy, Hamilton, ON his maternal grand-mother, Bertha Mitton, Dalhousie Jct, aunt Gwen and uncle Gordon Flann, aunt Ella Saba, aunt Elayne Hicks and aunt Orpah Edwards and many cousins.

Clyde was predeceased by his maternal grand-father, Manning Mitton, Matapedia, QC, his paternal grand-parents, Ruby and Clyde Edwards, Dalhousie Jct., by his uncle Arthur "Bud", aunt Edith Edwards, his uncle William "Bill" Edwards, all of Dalhousie Jct., his uncle Salem Saba, Lachine, QC, cousins Robin Flann, Sheila and David Edwards.

The funeral was held from St. John's United Church, Dalhousie on July 1st, conducted by the minister Rev. Roland Hutchinson. The organist was Mrs. Jean MacInnis.

The scripture readings were taken from Proverbs 4:4-27, the 23rd Psalm, and Matthew 15:21, 23, 25. Hymns sung were "Abide With Me", "All Things Bright and Beautiful", "Will Your Anchor Hold". The choir sang "In the Garden".

A eulogy was prepared and eloquently delivered by boyhood friend, Danny MacLean of Plaster Rock. The pallbearers were cousins, Todd and Peter Hicks, Aubrey and Terry Edwards and long time friends Lorin Eddy and Richard Chiasson.

Following the service, a reception was held in the church hall for family and friends with refreshments served by the women of the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John's United Church, Dalhousie, The Schriner's or a charity of the donor's choice.

Interment was in the Campbellton Rural Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Dalhousie.

Denyse Allard

On July 1, 2006, at Maisonneuve-Rosemont hospital in Montréal after a courageous battle with leukemia, passed away Denyse Allard, at the age of 45 years and 10 months.

The daughter of the late Yvannhoe Allard and Huguette Pichette, originally from this city. She is survived by her mother, step-father Gilles Lafond; sons Julien and Sébastien, daughter Jolène and the father of her children, Michel Bélanger and his family; two brothers Michel (Atholville) and Gilles (Laval-Ouest)), sister Hélène (Dartmouth); aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on July 15, 2006, at Our Lady of Snows Church at 11h00, with burial at Our Lady of Snows cemetery. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Ethel Vincent Mann

The sudden passing of Ethel Vincent Mann, wife of the late Douglas Mann ccurred Saturday, July 15, 2006 at the Dalhousie Nursing Home at the age of 91. Ethel was born in Charlo, the daughter of the late Harry Vincent and Nancy (Skene). Ethel is survived by her daughter Jackie Harrington of Petawawa, Ont, George (Joanne) of Shilo, Manitoba, Douglas(Judy) of Comox, B.C., 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, brothers Lorne, Glenford and sisters Joyce Mazerolle, and Leona Dumais. Ethel was predeceased by her husband Douglas, Brothers John, Bobby, Teddy, Kenneth, Doug, James, Donald, and sister Lillian. Ethel was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star. iLord Beaverbrook

The funeral service for Mrs. Mann is to be held from Zion United Church, New Mills, Thursday, July 20th, 2 p.m, officiated by Rev. Don Fairweather. Etienne "Stephen" Bertin
1911 - 2006

At the Dalhousie Nursing Home, on July 26, passed away at the age of 95, Mr. Etienne "Stephen" Bertin, husband of Mrs. Louise (Lanteigne) Bertin of Grey St. Dalhousie. Born in Pointe Verte, NB on May 22, 1911, he is the son of the late Arthur Hilarion Bertin and the late Marguerite Roy. He is survived by his wife, Louise, and 8 children: Patrick (Diane) Bertin, Paul (Joyce) Bertin, Marc Bertin, Michel (Ann Marie) Bertin, Pierre (Danie) Bertin, André Bertin, Bernadette Bertin (Clarence Harquail), Madeleine Bertin; 22 grand children; 28 great grand children; 3 step sisters: Agnes Bertin, Delia Bertin, Theresa Bertin; 3 step brothers: Clifford Bertin, Ernest Bertin, George Bertin. He is pre deceased by five sisters and one brother.

The funeral mass was held from St. Jean Baptiste church, Dalhousie, Friday, July 28 at 4pm. Father Landry officiating. Interment in the St. Jean Baptiste parish cemetery. Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Dalhousie.

Evangeline Cyr
1915 - 2006

Passed away peacefully at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on July 11, 2006 at the age of 90 years and 9 months, Mrs. Evangeline Cyr of the Soldier's Memorial Villa, Campbellto, NB.

She is the daughter of the late Lawrence Guitard and the late Cecilia Boudreau.

She will be sadly missed by her family: Adrien (Claudette), Charles (Irène), Bella (Napoléon) LeBlanc, Alice (Jean Guy Bouchard), Willy (JoAnn), Albert (Dorothy), Aline (Roméo Beausoleil), Irène (Etienne) Doucet, Léonard, Rachel (Camille Charest), Roger (Christianne); her brother Ralph Guitard, Ottawa; her sister: Mathilda Savoie, Toronto and her 45 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and by 4 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Eugène Cyr (1977), her daughter Mionne McGrath (1991).

A funeral mass was held at the Lady of Snows church with Father Roméo Morrison officiating. Interment in the Parish cemetery, Campbellton, NB. Pallbearers were her grandchildren Bruno Savoie, Monica Hachey, Bruce Cyr, Denise, Marcel Leblanc, Donia et Monique LeBlanc, Luc Cyr, Lison Cyr. Hymns sung by Fernand Ouellette. The casket was escorted to the alter by her son Adrien with the family members following behind him. She was escorted out by her son Roger and her daughter Aline. Albert Wilfred Felix

of St. Louis St., Atholville, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Friday, July 21, 2006 at the age of 83. Born in Dawsonville on July 8, 1923, he was the son of the late Simon Wifred Felix and the late Jane (Walters) Felix.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Haley) Felix; his daughters, Cathy (Glen) O'Neil of Miramichi, Sandra (Jacques) Landry of Campbellton Joan (Dave)Taylor of Dartmouth, NS, Hayley of Campbellton, and Kerry of Atholville; his sons, Reg (Kathy) Felix of Beresford, John (Tammy) Felix of Atholville and Gregory also of Atholville; his sisters, Jessie of Tide Head and Pat (Tom) Dewar of also of Tide Head and one brother, Allison (Peggy) Felix of Stoney Creek, ON. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and Many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by on ebrother, Gerald and one sister, Hazel.

A funeral mass was held from Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Atholville, on July 25, at 2 p.m, with Father Roméo Morrison officiating. Pallbearers were Members of the Parish Guard of Our Lady of Snows Church. Arrangements in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.



Gloria A. Belliveau
1931 - 2006

At the Campbellton Regional Hospital on July 15, 2006 at the age of 75, passed away Mrs. Gloria A. Belliveau, of Campbellton, wife of the late Mr. Bemrose J.W. Belliveau. Born in Campbellton on February 11, 1931, she is the daughter of the late Alexander Moore and the late Winnifred Durette.

She is survived by one daughter: Barbara (David) Methot; two sons: Terrance (Bonnie) Belliveau, Roderick (Dianne) Belliveau; seven sisters: Florence Mann, Doris Moore, Jacqueline Ritchie, Helen Ritchie, Muriel Cyr, Ethel Murchie, Judy Savoie; two brothers: David Hachey, Gordon Hachey and by her grandchildren: Christa (Andrew) Methot-Deakin, Nancy Belliveau, Timothy Belliveau, Jennifer Belliveau. She is predeceased by her son William Gary Belliveau and by her sister Shirley Gallant. The funeral mass was held from St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Campbellton on July 17th, 2006 at 11am. Father Bill Arseneau officiating.

Grace Elizabeth Row

Grace Elizabeth Row (born Bourdage) embarked on her final journey on July 7th, 2006. After a valiant fight with cancer at the York Regional Hospital in Newmarket Ont.

Born on February 18, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Martin Bourdage who died March 5th, 2006 and the late Geraldine Godin. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, George and beloved son Kyle, her grieving siblings: Hugette Laviolette, Claudette Rhindess, Yvette Garvie, Ginette Dupuis and brother Danny Bourdage, paternal aunts Victoria Pardiac, Alice Vaillancourt, Lorraine Cavanaugh, Aline Boudreau, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Frankie in 1973. She graduated as RNA at the Hotel Dieu Hospital in 1962 and never stopped learning and training moving on to the VON home care services in NewMarket and then to the Saint Elizabeth Home care services until last September.

Her funeral was attended by many at the Elizabeth Seaton Catholique church of NewMarket where she was a member. The eulogy was presented by Mrs. Susan Lee Morgan the chaplin at Saint Liz also an honor guard of 30 of her co-workers and friends nurses accompanied the casket to the hearse. Following cremation her remains will rest with her parents and brother in the St. John Baptist cemetery in Dalhousie.



Henri Paul Savoie

The death of Henri Paul Savoie of Dundee, occurred at his residence on June 29, 2006 at the age of 47. Born in Dalhousie, he was the son of the late Claudia Francoeur and Ernest Savoie.

He work as a heavy equipment engineer for many years.

He will be sadly missed by his children: Troy Nicolson of Toronto, William Mutuchky (Carla) of Lancester Park, Alb., and Crystal Mutuchky of Lancester Park, Alb.; his grandchild Diego Mutuchky; his brothers: Walter (late Marianne) of Dundee, Robert of Dundee, Ludger (Carol) of Niagara Falls, Ont., Yvon of Dundee, Fernand (Kathy) of Toronto and Ronald (Olive) of Burlington, Ont.; his sisters: Emelia Savoie (Lawrence) of Toronto, Therese Bernier (late Peter) of Toronto, Ernestine Savoie of Toronto, Rose Marie Savoie (Donald) of Toronto and Genevieve Savoie of Dundee. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends will also miss him.

He was predeceased by his mother: Claudia, brothers: John and Joseph and sister: Yvonne. Hilda Jean Ryan
1916 - 2006

On July 25th, 2006 passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 90, Hilda Jean Ryan, of "The Village" Nursing Home, Campbellton and formerly of Tide Head. Born in Mann's Mountain, NB on April 28th, 1916, she is the daughter of the late Richard "Dick" and Margaret Ann (Moores) Mann.

She was the cook at Boland Brook, on the Upsalquitch River for more than 30 years. She also loved to cook/bake and knit for both her immediate and extended family; and took an active interest in her grandchildren both near and far. She is survived by her two sons: John (late Barbara), Newmarket, ON, Dale (Jean) Ryan, Tide Head; and her daughter Jeannie (late Reg), Turtle Creek, NB. Also she leaves 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 4 sisters: Shirley, Myrea, Bertie, Hope, with wonderful memories of her.

She was predeceased by her husband Allison, her brother Farren, and her sister Peggy. The funeral service was held from Maher's Funeral Chapel, Campbellton on July 27th, 2006 at 2 pm with Rev. Tom Crowthers officiating, Ruth Nichol as organist and Leopold Richard singing some of her favourite hymns. Her final resting place is at the Dawsonville cemetery. Pallbearers: Ralph Furlong,Rick MacDougall, Bob Adams, Gary Crossman, Billy Chesser, Trent Jones. She led a great life, will be lovingly remembered and will be greatly missed.

1937 - 2006

On July 20, 2006 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, passed away at the age of 68, Mr. Jack Bernard Danks, of Charlo. Born in Dalhousie on September 23, 1937, he is the son of the late Richard Danks and the late Mary Daley. Former employee to NBIP.

He is survived by his sons: Jim, Chilliwake, BC, Jay, Quispamsis, John Frenette, New Mills; daughters: Judy Danks, Dalhousie, Patsy Danks, Nova Scotia, Coral (Louis McGraw), Dalhousie, Sharon (Carl) Winton, Archibald Settlement and one brother: Billy, Dalhousie.

Jason Arthur Letourneau

It's is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Jason Arthur Letourneau of Bathurst and formerly of Dalhousie, who was accidentally killed in a car accident on July 22, 2006 at the age of 31.

Born in Dalhousie, N.B., on May 22, 1975, he was the son of Arthur Letourneau and Dora Bernatchez of Dalhousie.

He leaves to mourn his parents Arthur and Dora, his sister Dorothy Letourneau (James Newell) of Dalhousie, his daughter Céline LeBlanc of Campbellton, his nephew Anthony Newell of Dalhousie and his grandfather George Bernatchez of Toronto, Ontario. He also leaves to mourn several uncles, aunts, and cousins.

At the request of the family, there were no visitations at the funeral home. Funeral service was held at St. John Bosco Church in Dalhousie on July 27, 2006, with Father Arseneault officiating. Interment followed in the parish cemetery in Dalhousie. Funeral arrangements were placed in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Dalhousie.

Dorothy Mae LePoidvin

The death of Dorothy Mae LePoitdvin of the Campbellton Nursing Home, occurred at the Campbellton Nursing Home on Thursday, July 20, 2006 at the age of 91. Born in Oak Bay, QC on April 19, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Mann and the late Mabel Janet (Hunter) Mann. She is survived by her daughters, Adele Mae LePoidvin of Campbellton, Barbara LePoidvin of Campbellton, Betty (Bill) Fullerton of Fredericton and Frances (Donald) Martel of Atholville; her sons, Murray LePoidvin of St. John, Earl (Debbie) LePoidvin of Dawsonville and Allan LePoidvin of Campbellton; her sisters, Thelma Day of Dowling, ON, Helen Currier of Mass. USA, Viola Gaudin of Kirkland, QC, Winnie Anderson of Washington, USA c and Adele Mailloux of Cross Point, QC and her brothers, Beverly Mann of Ontario and Lorne Mann of Campbellton. Also surviving are 10 grand children, 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Bill and her brothers, Robert & Kenneth. Funeral services were held from the First United Church, Campbellton, on July 24, at 2 p.m, with Rev. Geneviève Trudel officiating. Lydia Doucet
1914 - 2006

At the "Centre d'hébergement" of Rimouski on July 17, 2006, passed away at the age of 91 and 7 months, Mrs. Lydia Doucet residing in Rimouski and formerly of Charlo, wife of the late Rodolphe Doucet. Born in Charlo on December 9, 1914, she is the daughter of the late Fabien Bujold and the late Marie Louise Babin.

She is survived by her children: Paul (Mary-Ann Winters), Goose Bay Labrador, Yvette (Yves Martin), Rimouski; daughter-in-law: Camilla Cormier, Shediac, NB; her brothers: Gustave Thibodeau, Campbellton, Louis Thibodeau, St. Quentin, Henri Thibodeau, New Richmond, QC; her sisters: Marie-Ange Lavoie, Les Méchins, QC, Évangéline Thibodeau, St. Eustache, QC, Madeleine Landry, Charlo Lucie Leblond, Charlo; her grandchildren: Claude, Paulette and Jeffrey Doucet; her great grandchildren: Nicole and Alyssa; her sisters-in-law: Juliette and Lorette, Campbellton, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her son Maurice and one sister Beatrice.

The funeral mass was held from St. François Xavier Church, Charlo on Saturday, July 22 at 11am. Father Landry officiating.

J. Raymond Francis Walsh

Of the DVA wing of the Campbellton Regional Hospital, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Sunday, July 9th at the age of 80. Born in Campbellton on August 27, 1925, he was the son of the late Jean Baptiste Walsh and the late Emma Savoie. He is survived by his wife, Mary Tramblay Walsh and one son, Wayne Walsh of Fredericton. He was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Charles and a brother, Bernard.

A funeral mass was held from the St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Campbellton on July 13, 2006 at 11a.m with Father William Arseneau officiating. Terrence Guitard
1936-2006

At the Campbellton Regional Hospital on July 23, 2006, passed away at the age of 69, Mr. Terry Guitard, residing at 2 McMillan Avenue, Campbellton, NB. Born in Nash Creek, NB, on September 20, 1936, he is the son of the late Gabriel Guitard and Eugenie (Hickey) Gregoire.

Having been employed at Central Garage for 25 years, he passionately devoted his time as an active member of the UCT (United Commercial Travellers). In 1962, he was elected Senior Counselor of Local Council 781, went on to become Grand Counselor of the Atlantic Provinces in 1985 and then Past Atlantic Grand Couselor in 1986. He also held the office of Secretary for a number of years. He was a member of the St.Thomas Knights of Columbus Council 7693 and an active member of Campbellton Minor Hockey Association for many years. He is survived by his wife, Rita (Cantin) Guitard, Campbellton, his four sons: Kelly (Isabelle), Gary (Denise), Mark (Kim) and Glen (Sylvie); his mother Jean Gregoire and his sister Suzanne Albert; grandchildren: Ross, Michel, Shawnna, Allain, Gabriel, Nathan and Magnus; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral mass was held from St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Campbellton, NB, on July 28, at 11:00 a.m., with Father Bill Arseneau officiating. Interment in the Our Lady of Snows parish cemetery. Regan, Shirley Beatrice

Peacefully, at the Kingston General Hospital, with her family by her side, on Sunday, July 2, 2006 in her 77th year. Beloved wife for 56 years of Gordon. Loving mother of Gary, Brian (wife Leanne), Jim (wife Sally), Dan (wife Joan), Mary Zanet (husband Randy) and Gord (wife Laurie). Much loved grandmother of: Jennifer, Jimmy, Kelly, Kimberly, Michael, Nicholas, Michelle, Steven and Robbie. Dear sister of Lewis and Gordon McLaughlin, Judy LeBlanc and predeceased by sister Sharon Savoie and brother Maurice McLaughlin.

Friends were received at the Township Chapel of Gordon F Tompkins, 435 Davis Drive (Taylor Kidd Blvd at Centennial Drive). Mass of Christian Burial at Blessed Sacrament Church, 3 Briscoe Street, Amherstview, was on Thursday, July 6 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation followed. For those wishing, memorial donations to Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.

Edgar Tardiff

The death of Edgar Tardiff of Jacquet River, husband of Theresa (Arsenault), occurred Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst at the age of 80. He was born in Jacquet River, the son of the late John Tardiff and Beatrice (Legacy).

He is survived by his wife Theresa, daughter Brenda Arnett(Terry) of Calgary, sons Billy of Edmonton, David (Nancy) of Bathurst, Michael of Fort McMurray and 7 grandchildren . Also surviving are his brothers Manuel, Vianney and his sisters Leona Smith, and Lorrianne (Lulu) Lejeune . He was predeceased by his daughter Paula Murray, brothers Dollard, Arthur, Gregory, and sisters Van Lawlor and Derilda Esliger.

His funeral was held from Saint Gabriel Church, Jacquet River, Saturday, July 15, 2006, officiated by Father David Ferguson with burial in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were- Ben Tardiff, Craig Tardiff, Paul Legacy, Jim Murray, Rick Hachey, and Pat Maclaughlin. Ralph Guitard

The death of Ralph Guitard of Charlo and formerly of Armstrong Brook, occured July 16, 2006 at the Dalhousie Nursing Home at the age of 79. Born in Armstrong Brook, he was the son of the late Augustine Guitard & Pearl (Daigle).

He is survived by his companion Ruby Thompson, sons Don(Susan) of Moncton, Ralphie(Linda) of Petit Rocher, daughters Ann Guitard of Nova Scotia, Lynn Mealey(Don) of Fort McMurray, and 10 grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers Manuel, Gordon, Norman, sisters Bernadine, Genevieve and Kathleen. He is predeceased by his wife Belina, and son Rodney.

His funeral service was held from St.Gabriel's Church,Jacquet River Thursday July 20, 2006 officiated by Father David Ferguson with burial in the parish cemetery. Pall bearers were Jeffery Guitard, Kenny Pitre, Dean Pitre, Chester Lapointe, Darren LaPointe, and Gorden Legacy. Honorary Pallbearers were Gabriel Aube, Frank Greenan, Gerald Guitard, Donald Gallen, Joseph Gallant, Austin Doucett, Elmer Roach, Guy Guitard, Maurice Boudreau, and Gid Robichaud.

Funeral arrangements were in the care of MacMillan Funeral home,Black Point.
