Adrienne (Arseneault) Shipley

Adrienne "Andy" Marie Frances (Arseneault) Shipley passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2007 unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital.

Born on March 20, 1947, in Campbellton, N.B. she was the daughter of Annette (Marcoux) Arseneault and the late Adrien Arseneault.

She will be sadly missed by her beloved husband, Peter A. Shipley, two sons, Kevin (Terri) Shipley, Saint John; Tim Shipley, Kingston, N.B.; three brothers, Yvon (Lise) Arseneault, Grand Vallee, PQ; Jean Paul (Nicole) Arseneault, Atholville, N.B.; Marc Arseneault, Atholville, N.B.; three sisters, Suzanne (Jean - Louis) Lussier, Montreal; Pauline (Hugh) O'Hara, Quispamsis; Colette (David) LeBlanc, Riverview; three grandchildren, Kate, Maddy, and Sara, brother-in-laws, Michael (Marie) Shipley, Thomas (Nancy) Shipley, Pat (Theresa) Shipley, Richard (Anne Marie) Shipley, David (Jennifer) Shipley; sister-in-law, Janice Dugay and Len Rendeau; mother and father-in-law, Rose and Albert Shipley, several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by son, Joseph Shipley and her brother Claude Arseneault.

Mrs. Shipley was a Lab Assistant at the Saint John Regional Hospital for many years. "Andy" enjoyed reading, knitting, gardening, and traveling. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to the physicians and nursing staff at the SJRH Emergency and SICU.

Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2007, and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at Castle Funeral Home "Kings Chapel", 154 Hampton Road, Rothesay. (849-1702) Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at 12 noon from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Rothesay.

Benoit Carrier

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on July 3, 2007 at the age of 64, Mr. Benoit Carrier. Born in Eel River Crossing on July 1, 1943, he was the son of the late William Carrier and the late Léonie Savoie.

He leaves to mourn his wife Carmel Kenny Carrier, his daughter Colette (Shawn) Carrier of Dalhousie, his son Raymond (Dawn) Carrier of Chance Harbour, NB, his sisters Monique (Gerald) Bernard of Jacquet River, NB and Anita (Richard) Michaud of Mountain Brook, NB, his brothers André (Yvette) Carrier of Eel River Crossing, NB and Yvon (Louise) Carrier of Eel River Crossing, NB. Also survived by 2 grandchildren Jenika and Jack.

Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Thérèse, Dawson, Edgar and Raymond.

The funeral mass was held from St. Trinity Church Eel River Crossing on Friday July 6th at 4 pm. Father Landry officiating.

Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Dalhousie.

Claude Savoie
1952-2007

At the Cambpellton Regional Hospital on July 3, 2007, passed away Claude Savoie at the age of 54 years, husband of Anne Marie Savoie. He was the son of the Éliza (Allard) Savoie and Allan Savoie.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Anne Marie Savoie of Campbellton; his daughters: Mychka of Moncton, Zoé of Edmonton, Alb. and Niké of Montréal, Qc.; his stepdaughters: Helena and Kara Johnson of Moncton; his parents: Mrs Éliza Savoie of Charlo and Mr. Allan Savoie of Dundee; his sisters and brothers: Vivianne (Réjean) of Québec, Qc., Alyre (Dominique) of Ottawa, Renaud (Carol) of Charlo, Colette of Dalhousie, Yves of Charlo and Louis (Vickki) of Moncton. Also, many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and friends will sadly miss him.

Douglas (Dougie) Doucett

Passed away in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 45, after a long courageous battle with cancer, Mr. Douglas (Dougie) Doucett. He was the son of Carmel and David Doucett of McLeods.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife and two step children, his sisters Donna (Vaughan), Brenda (Mike), his brother Allen (Lyne), his niece and godchild Brittney, nephew Matthew, his aunts Georgina Bertin from Fredericton and Arjean (Hal) Maqlio of California, his uncles Richard Gendron (Irene) of Montreal and Richard Doucett (Micheline) of Campbellton, also many very close cousins, relatives and friends.

His funeral took place in Calgary on July 5th from Holloway's Eastside, Memorial Drive NE at 2:30pm Calgary time. A Memorial service and mass will be held at Mary Queen Church, Richardsville where he was baptized, received his first Holly Communion and Confirmation on July 14th at 11am.

Donations may be given to the Canadian Cancer Society or The Mary Queen Church Fund.

Frank Terrance Kingston
1937-2007

Peacefully, with his family by his side, Frank T. Kingston, of Dalhousie, New Brunswick passed away on July 3, 2007, at the age of 69, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Loving husband to Margaret (Margie) Miller of Dalhousie. Loving father of Frankie of BC, David (Stephanie) and Kevin (Shannon) of Ontario and NancyLee (John) of Alberta. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Zachary and Jessica. Frank is also survived by his siblings Monica, Carmel, Bernadette, Aloysious, Joey and Patty. He is predeceased by his parents Sam and Lillian and siblings William, Ann Marie, George, Rita and Paul. Frank was a long-time employee of NB Power. He enjoyed playing and coaching hockey and baseball, telling stories and making people laugh. Frank will always be in the hearts of his family and many friends.

The funeral mass was held from St. John Bosco Church Dalhousie on Tuesday July 10th at 11am. Father William Arsenault officiating.

Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Dalhousie.

Lance Mallaley

The accidental death of Lance Mallaley of Lorne, occurred June 29, 2007 in Jacquet River at the age of 24. Born in Lorne, he was the beloved son of Alexandria and Weldon Mallaley and younger brother to Cliff (Angie).

He is also survived by his partner Tiffanie Labillois, nephew Alex, and grandparents Ruby and Eugene Hickey, and Rita Mallaley. He was predeceased by his grandfather Xavier Mallaley.

His funeral was held from St. Marie Goretti Church, Lorne Tuesday July 03, 2007, officiated by Father David Ferguson with burial in the parish Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers were Chris Mallaley, Luke Peterson, Kristy Hickey, Nathan Hickey, Mike Carrier, Matthew Bertin, Bobby Jo LaBillois, Joey Lavigne, Boyd Godin, Bradley Hickey, Jasmine LaBillois and Nathan Meade.

Reginald J. (Reg) Comeau

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on June 19, 2007 at the age of 65, Mr. Reginald J (Reg) Comeau. Born in Campbellton on May 26, 1942, he was the son of the late Benoit Comeau and the late Doris Ayotte. Reginald worked at the Sugarloaf Park for many years and was a member of the board of directors for the RCVAA.

He leaves to mourn his wife Irene Roy, his sons Frederic (Sara) and Eric (Annie), his sister Lynda D'Amour, 6 grandchildren Brianna, Ethan, Trevor, Amy, Jessie and Erica.

Predeceased by one sister Thelma Hachey.

The funeral mass was held from Notre Dame de Fatima Church St-Arthur on Friday June 22nd at 2pm. Father Godin officiating. Interment at the St-Arthur Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.

Vernon Fearon

The death of Vernon (Buzz) Fearon of Charlo occurred on June 30, 2007 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 84.He was the son of the late Harry W. Fearon and Pearl (Holmden). Buzz was employed at the NBIP as a Check Scaler for over 40 years.

He is survived by his wife Winnie(Young),Daughters Donna Feser of Winnipeg and Cheryl Stern of Newmarket ON, son Terry (Susan) of Fredericton as well as his grandsons Nikolaus, Christoffer, Patrick, Andrew and granddaughters Heidi, Rachel, Brittany and great grandson Maddox. He is also survived by his brothers Arnold and Fred as well as his sisters Ruth Dixon, Jean Casey, Vivian Hayward, Ferne LaBossiere and Betty Fearon. He was predeceased by a sister Elsie and a brother Harry (Hib).

His funeral was held from Our Lady of the Visitation Church, Benjamin River NB, Wednesday July 4, 2007, officiated by Father David Ferguson with internment in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Jerome Young, Fred Fearon, Danny Hamilton, Gene Allard, Harvey Arseneault and Roger Levesque.

Honorary Pallbearers were Bill White, Jim Targett, Doug Hayward, Harold Casey, Leonce Dupuis, Albert Chamberlain, Rod McAlister, Manley Peterson and Arnold Fearon. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Visitation Building Fund or Charity of your choice. Victorine Rita Johnson

The death of Victorine Rita Johnson (Amirault) of Belledune and formerly of Lower West Pubnico, N.S., wife of the late George Johnson, occurred at Campbellton Regional Hospital on Saturday, June 23rd at the age of 88.

Born in Lower West Pubnico, the daughter of the late Edmond Amirault and Stephanie (d'Entremont). She is survived by her sister Yvonne d'Eon and brother Ambroise (Marie) Amirault of West Pubnico and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband George, and sister Ada.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday,June 26, 2007 at 11:00 am from St.John the Evangelist Church, Belledune, with burial in Lower West Pubnico Cemetery, officiated by Father David Ferguson.
