Beverly Ouellette
Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on September 29, 2012 at the age of 78, Mrs. Beverly Ouellette of Atholville.
She leaves to mourn her husband Omer Ouellette, her daughters Marie Martin of Val D'Amour, Yvette Boudreau (Marc) of Dalhousie, Patsy Ouellette of Atholville, Elise Boumzough (Karim) of Moncton and Laura Lee Comeau (Paul) of Atholville her sons Bobby Ouellette of Atholville, Roger Ouellette (Cindy) of Shediac, Louis Ouellette (Barb) of Thompson, Manitoba, Allain Ouellette (Claudette) of Campbellton and Michel Ouellette (Liette) of Moncton, brothers Carl Hachey (Sheila) of Atholville and Norvel Hachey of Atholville. Also survived by her 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by many brothers and sisters.
Joe Robert Metallic
In lovin memory of Joe Robert who passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on September 12, 2012 at the age of 73.
Joe is survived by his loving partner Carmel Vicaire, his son Sheldon, his daughters Raven and Lisa, his four Grandchildren Savanah, Jasmine, Dillon and Cameron, his five brothers, Thomas (Gail), Elias (Fay) Manfred (Joyce) Floyd (Tina), and Lammie (Suzie), his 2 sisters Marlene (Simon) , Anita (Sparky) and many nieces and nephews.
Joe was preceded by his mother Madeline Metalic and Uncles, Thomas Metallic and Mervin Metallic.
Joe was a strong positive person who always looked for the best in any situation. He was a wonderful man who lived life to the fullest. He was a man of simplicity who had a lively spirit. His outgoing personality and gentle spirit made it easy for everyone to love him.
Joe can be described as a "legend". His love of sports inspired his brothers and many young men and women in his community especially in hockey and softball.
Joe Robert, jersey #8 of the Listuguj Warriors scored his final goal in hockey on September 5, 2012.
The family is deeply grateful for all the support and kind expressions of sympathy offered during their time of sorry.
A heartfelt gratitude is sent to all friends, team mates and community members for all their efforts in comforting the family in the sudden loss of Joe.
Pallbearers were all his nephews; Adam Metallic, Corey Metallic, Collin Dedam, Trapper Metallic, Nicholas Metallic, Sky Metallic, Casey Metallic, Cruz Metallic and John Murvin Metallic.
Larry Lapointe
The death of Larry LaPointe of Bathurst and formerly of Nash Creek occurred at his home suddenly October 7, 2012 at the age of 55. Born in Lorne, he was the son of the late John F. and Mary (Godin) Lapointe.
Larry was a loving father and proud grandfather, was loved by many. He had a great sense of humour, loved music especially singing and playing his guitar.
Larry is survived by his son Stephen of Swan Hills, Alberta, daughter Michelle LaPointe (Randy) of White Court, Alberta; two grandchildren River and Mary, brothers Leonard and Norbert as well as his sisters Lorraine LaPointe (Robert) and Jeannette Hickey (Barry).
Larry was predeceased by his sister Shirley Bishop and brothers Emery and Romeo.
Pallbearers were Arthur Beattie, Randy Lebuffe, Randy Doiron, Claude Godin, Michael Lapointe and Allan Black.
Lorraine Normand
Peacefully at the Campbellton Nursing Home on October 11th, 2012 at the age of 95, passed away Mrs. Lorraine Normand, wife of the late Emile Normand and the late Viola Fallu.
She leaves to mourn her two sons Jean Jacques (Diane) from Campbellton and Claude normand from Montmagny, QC., her two grandchildren Angele and Alain (Lise) both from Campbellton. Predeceased by her brothers Lionel, Roland, Rodolphe and Raymond, her sisters Corinne and Fenelle.
Marguerite Belanger
On Thursday October 18, 2012, surrounded by her children in Moncton, Marguerite Belaner, wife of the late Roland Belaner from Campbellton, peacefully passed away. She was the daughter of the late Ellen Walsh and the late Benjamin Audet.
Marguerite will be sadly missed by her children Jean Marc (Brenda LeFrancois), Francine (Jim Carriere), Jocelyne (Georges Theriault) and Jacqueline, her grandchildren Marc Andre, Jean Michel, Jenna, Kayla, Eric, Daniel, Marie Therese, Juliette and Adele, her great grandchild Kovi, her sister Therese Caron, her brother Arthur Audet (Cecile), sisters-in-law Jacqueline (late Bennie Audet) Pierrette (late Rodolphe Belaner) and Jeannine (late Raymond belanger), as well as nephews and nieces.
Rita Belliveau
Passed away peacefully at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on October 18, 2012 at the age of 91, Mrs Rita Belliveau of Campbellton, wife of the late Ruben Belliveau. She was the daughter of the late Lazore Roy and the late Marie Levesque.
She leaves behind three sons Patrick (Diane), Michael (Joanne) and Bill, three sisters Corrine Day of New Glasgow, NS, Anita (Gary) Ockenbden of Acton, Ont., Carmel Roy of Campbellton , two brothers Gordon Roy of the DVA Ward Campbellton (formerly of Mont-Joli) and Charlie (Murielle of Bramlea, Ont, five grandchildren Erin (Matt), Ryan (Shelbe), April (Claude), Michelle (Chris), Trevor (Stacey) and seven great-grandchildren Mandy (Justin), Mallory, Austin, Emma, Kiara, Alyssa and Khrington.
Also predeceased by one brother Norman and one sister Eva.
Patricia Flowers
The death of Patricia Flowers occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on October 17, 2012 at the age of 91. Born in Campbellton on July 31, 1921, beloved wife of the late Ralph Flowers, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Eliza (Casey) Benwell.
She is survived by her son John Flowers (Susan) of Kingston, ON, grandmother to Marc (Monica), Jason (Jamie Klein) and Sarah (Christopher Veley), six great-grandchildren, Briyah Shae, Sydney, Korbin, Jaxon, Jacob and Ethan, and all of Ontario, sister Una Ryan of Nackawic, two nephews Douglad Gauthier (Carol of Tide Head, Richard Gauthier (Patricia) of Saint John, two nieces Sheila McDonald and Mary mcDonald of Montreal, many great nieces, nephews and several cousins.
Besides her husband and parents, Patricia was predeceased by two sisters Johanna (late John) McDonald and Irene (late Richard) Gauthier, brother Robert Benwell an infant brother norman , a nephew Michael McDonald and brother-in-law Sydney Ryan.
Neil M. A. Quigley
Neil M.A. Quigley, passed away at the Kingston General Hospital surrounded by his family, after a battle with cancer, on October 13, 2012 in his 76th year.
He was the son of the late Patrick and the late Jennie (O'Neill) Quigley of Dalhousie.
Neil was the beloved husband of Goldie Bover, and loving father of Kerry Petersen (Ed) and Mark Quigley (Karen) and proud grandpa of Megan, Andrew and Matt Petersen and Nathan and Oliver Quigley.
Niel is survived by his siblings Bonny Nichol (Stan), Burlington, ON, Pennie Barbour (Richard), Dalhousie, and Michael Quigley (Gail) of Nackawic.
Neil was a 31 year employee (retired) of DuPont. Neil will be missed by all who knew and loved him including his family and friends.
Teddy Dale Marshall
It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Teddy Dale Marshall at the Palliative Care Unit at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on October 17, 2012 at the age of 67.
Teddy is suvived by sister Clara Moran of Upsalquitch, Fern MacDonald of Campbellton, brothers Lee (Ruth) of Upsalquitch, Ollie (Margaret) of Squaw Cap, Blaine of Ontario and Sheldon (Betty) of Upsalquitch and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his mother Janie (Parker) Marshall and his father Maxwell Marshall, one brother Burns (Barb) of Upsalquitch.
Teddy was a very special person who enriched many people's lives just being around.
Burgess and Ellen Edwards
It is with sadness that we announce the deaths of Burgess and Ellen May (Mitton) Edwards while in the Palliative Unit of the Campbellton Regional Hospital. They leave to mourn their children Mark (Rita) and Nancy. They were predeceased b their son Clyde.
Burgess(December 20, 1926 - August 22, 2012) is survived by his sisters Gwen (Gordon) Flann and Elaine Hicks as well sister-in-law Orpah (William) Edwards. He was predeceased by his parents Clyde and Ruby (Wood ) Edwards, brothers Arthur and William and sister Ella (Sam) Saba.
Ellen (September 21 1933 - October 14, 2012) is survived by her sister Gay Matheson and her brother Delbert (Barb) Mitton as well as sister -in-law Joyce (John ) Mitton. She was predeceased by her parents Manning and Bertha (Harvey) Mitton and her brother John (Jack) Mitton.
Pallbearers for Burgess were Evan Bernatchez, Richard Chiasson, Lorne Eddy, Aubrey Edwards, Todd Hicks and Albert Malley.
Pallbearers for Ellen were Israel Bellavance, Lorne Eddy, Mark and Terry Edwards Todd Hicks and Albert Malley.
Palma Gallant
Passed away at the CLSC in Matapedia on October 20, 2012 at the age of 82, Palma Gallant.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews.
Donald (Donnie) Bolton
Wednesday October 24, 2012 at the Dalhousie Palliative care Unit at the age of 55, passed away Donnie (Donald James twin to Dana) Bolton of Campbellton. He was the son of the late Estelle Dempsey and the late David Bolton.
He will be sadly missed by his best friend Lynda D'Amour of Campbellton , his brothers and sisters: carolyn of Halifax, Cameron (Agnes) of Cambridge, Ont., Michael (Sally) of Campbelton, Iris (Wayne) of Niagara Falls, Kevin (Judy) of Edmonton, Lauren (Kevin) of California, Dana of Toronto, Aubrey of Toronto, John (Brenda) of Toronto and Myra (Michael) of Ottawa, his extended family; Reginald, Denise, Michel, Melanie and Kevin D'a=Amour, Maxime and Payge Comeau, Emma Chabotte. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents and a sister Cynthia.

Gemma Rita Martel
Gemma R. Martel of Upper Queensbury, NB passed away October 30, 2012 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital.
Born at Dalhousie, NB in 1932, she was a daughter of the late Wilfred and Alfreda (Caron) Barriault.
Gemma is survived by her husband, Louis Martel; four children, Richard Martel (Edith), Poplar River, Manitoba, Robert Martel (Johanne), St. Basil le Grand, Quebec, Elizabeth Lloyd-Jones, Islandview, NB and Susan Martel, Dorval, Quebec; seven grandchildren, Jonathan Martel (Beth), Adrien Martel, Cynthia Martel (Frederic), Sarah Martel (Charles), Stephanie Murray (Jason), Michele LeBlanc (Alex) and Rita Champagne; two great grandchildren, Adam and Emma; two brothers, Ulysse Barriault (Doris), Campbellton, NB and Dr. Ron Barriault (Pat), Charlo, NB; several nieces and nephews.
Dorina Talbot
The death of Dorina Talbot of Belledune occured at the Bathurst Regional Hospital Saturday,Oct.27,2012 at the age of 86.Born in Belledune,she was the daughter of the late Alexander & Florence Landry.
After graduating from nursing school in Bathurst she was employed as a nurse in Connecticut & Hamilton for thirty plus years.Upon moving back to Belledune,she and her husband Arnold built the Belledune Motor Inn of which they owned and operated for ten years.Dorina was a very active member in the church and the Catholic Womens League.
She is survived by her sisters Erma Guitard of Connecticut & Lorraine Curry of Belledune,sister in law Theresa Landry; brother in law Allie Culligan as well as several neices & nephews.She was predeceased by her husband Arnold;brother Leander;sister Rose Marie Culligan as well as her brothers in law Pat Curry & Tom Guitard
Patricia "Pat" Murray
Patricia Murray passed away at her home in Fredericton the early morning of October 23, 2012 at the age of 88. She had been under the care of two attentive doctors , extra mural and home care professionals all of whom made her feel very special.
She passed peacefully during a prayer and was surrounded by her family, with love and music. She will be truly missed by many.
Pat was born in Campbellton as one of 19 children of David and Isabel Thompson. She is survived by two siblings Mary Corrine (Queenie) Hrenyk and George Thompson both of Ontario.
She was a woman of faith and loved her two church families from St Anthony's (GlenLevit) and Holy Family (Fredericton). She made friends easily and from all walks of life, never questioning whether she would "fit" in with any gathering. She cared about people especially those who were unwell or simply alone.
Until her recent decline in health, Pat loved to travel and made a strong connection with Ireland. She visited several times and made lifelong friends who stayed in touch while she was unwell. Pat loved her many surviving relatives most of whom have had a meal from her or left a visit with homemade treat.
She knew everything happening in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great grandchild continuing to offer advice, support and love to each of them to the last moment of her life.
She was an equal partner in raising six children who survive and grieve her as a huge loss.
Lynn (Ray), David (Debbie), Lee, Paula, Mamie (Gerald) and "her baby" Therese. She was proud of her 8 grandchildren Jessica, Alex, Christopher, Jonathan Emily, Mike, Jennifer and Shannon and would boast their achievements to all who would listen. Her great grandchild Matayah was a frequent visitor who always brought a smile.
Pat and her husband (Paul deceased in 2001) moved to Fredericton to be with their adult children in later years. While making treaured friendships there. Pat never lessened her roots in Glencoe and her love for her community. She will be returning to join Paul for her final rest.
