Edna Isaac Mann

Edna Isaac Mann (nee LeBoeuf) (Born In Campbellton), wife of the late Joseph Isacc Mann of Listuguj, passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on December 30, 2003, at the age of 92.

She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Royal Canadian Lagion in Campbellton, N.B. for many years. She was also a dedicated member of the Listuguj Church Choir.

She is survived by daughters, Joan Scheauffer, Listuguj, Carol Dedam, Listuguj, Nora Isaac, Listuguj, Doris Woods, Omaha, Nebraska, and Lillian Folley, Listuguj.

Surviving sons are Leonard Isaac, Listuguj, and Joseph Brennan, Port Richey, Florida. Deceased sons Rene Isaac, Listuguj. Also, she is survived by 26 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Alexander LeBlanc

Leblanc, Alexander John (Sandy) (Husband of Louise Boudreau) - Passed away peacefully on January 14, 2004 at his home in Fredericton the age of 61 after a courageous battle with cancer. Sandy's greatest joys were found in his family, close friends, career, and volunteer work.

Survived by former wife, Mary and their four children Scott, (Carolyn), Katie (Doug), Jody, Jaime (James) and stepdaughter Dominique Gillis. Loving grandfather to Tyler, Alexander, Conacher, and James. Brother to Linda-Ruth Snow (Don). Ann Coughlan and the late Jim LeBlanc. Uncle to carey, Jim (Sherry), Frank (Cara), John, Nikko (Adam) and Tim (Jasmin). Great Uncle to Tyler, Mark, Caitlyn, and Aly. Son-in-law to Lorraine Boudreau and a dear friend to many.

Betty Lucas

Betty Lucas, aged 77 of Niagara Falls, New York, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2003, in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center following a brief illness. Mrs. Lucas was born in Berry Mills, New Brunswick, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Kathleen (Keefe) Lutes and moved to Niagara Falls, NY when she married her second husband, David L. "Whitey" Lucas on October 26, 1969.

She was a member of Bacon Memorial Presbyterian Church, the Rainbow Club at the 1st Presbyterian Church and active with the AARP at the John Duke Center.

In addition to her husband, "Whitey", Mrs. Lucas is survived by her children, Lloyd (Rose) Glidden and Ann Glidden, all of Moncton, New Brunswick; Margie (Gilles) Dube of Matapedia, Quebec, Mile Glidden of Carleton, Quebec and Cathy Glidden of Mississauga, Ontario; three grandsons David (Genna) Stuglich, Lucas (Dana) Spragg and Joshua (Lisa) Spragg; a granddaughter Marie (Clinton) Boughs; a great grandson, Cole Spragg; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lucas was predeceased by her sister Helen Roach and brother Ronald Lutes.

Ann Cooling

The death of Ann Cooling of 14155 Route 17, Glen Levit, N.B. occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on January 16th at the age of 72.

Born in Glencoe on February 2, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Wesley Walker and the late Cindy Best.

She is survived by her husband Malcolm Cooling and son Alvin Cooling of Glen Levit, N.B.

Joseph Battah

The death of Joseph Battah of the Village Nursing Home occurred there on December 20, 2003, at the age of 91.

Born in Robertville, N.B. on May 7, 1912, he was the son of the late Philippe Battah and the late Catherine Hache.

He is survived by his wife Anne (nee Landry) Battah of Campbellton and son Armand (Bertha) Battah of Atholville.

Marie-Ange Adams

On January 5, 2004, Mrs. Marie-Ange (Caron) Adams passed away peacefully in her sleep, at Oakwood Park Lodge, Niagara Falls, Ontario, at the age of 91.

Beloved wife of the late Clarence Adams (1978), formerly of Mill Stream, Quebec.

She is survived by her seven children; son; Bryce (Aileen) Adams, Niagara Falls, Ont; daughters; Georgia (Archie) Babcock, Mann's Mountain, N.B., Sister Ann Adams, r.s.r. Rimouski, Que. Doris (Noel) Bauce, Sorel-Tracey, Que., Roselle (Adrien) Gaudet, Bramalea, Ont., Grace (Rick) Salter, Burlinghton, Ont., and Claire (Ron) Lacey, Thunder Bay, Ont., as well as ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren and three sisters.
