Lucien J. Robichaud

The death of Lucien J. Robichaud of Dundee occurred on February 3, 2002 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital.

He was born on November 17, 1924 in Connor, Madawaska County, N.B. to Jean Robichaud and Alvine Landry and had been a self employed carpenter.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn (Hallam) Robichaud of Dundee, daughters Gertrude (Jean-Paul) Perron, both of Balmertown, Ontario, and Anita (Michel) Lepine of Beloeil, Quebec; sons Bernard (Solange) Robichaud of Timmins, Ontario, Ronald (Gisele) Robichaud of Richibucto, N.B., Emile (Doreen) Robichaud of Broadlands, Quebec, and Michel (Monique) Robichaud of Campbellton; stepchildren Lorna (Randy) Fraser, Nelson (Donna) Caldwell, Gail (Ron) Ulch and Trent (Angela) Caldwell, all of Goderich, Ontario; sisters Lorraine McGraw and Elizabeth Doucet, both of Campbellton, Bernice Boucher of Dundee, Clothilde Boudreau of Ontario and Dianette Levesque of B.C.; brother Alderic (Bernadette) Robichaud of B.C.; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers Laurent and Robert and sons Adrien and Donald.

Funeral services were held from St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Campbellton on February 6 officiated by Father Wade. Interment in the parish cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.

John Parent

The death of John Parent of 391 Victoria Street, Dalhousie occurred at St. Joseph's Hospital, Dalhousie on February 6, 2002.

He was born in Dalhousie on September 3, 1942 to Amedee Parent and Eva Frenette and had worked at NBIP Forest products.

He is survived by daughters Jennifer Parent of Dalhousie and Jackeline Parent of Fredericton; son Ronny Parent of Dalhousie; his mother, Eva Parent; sisters Diane Parent and Shirleen Wedge, both of Dalhousie, and Joan Waller of Toronto; brothers Vernon of Campbellton, Maurice of Montreal and Carl of Toronto; and three grandchildren, Jonathan and Nathaniel Morrison and predeceased by his father, Amedee.

Funeral services were held from Saint John Bosco Church, Dalhousie on February 9 with father Chamberlain officiating. Interment in the Saint John The Baptist Church cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Dalhousie.

James Hamilton

The death of James Hamilton occurred February 3, 2002 at his residence in Grand Falls at the age of 44.

James will be dearly missed by his Grand Falls family, Yugette and Yvon Caron, their children Sylvain, Marco and Tania and their family and friends, as well as his co-workers at Dexter Workshop.

James is survived by his father Lindsay, twin sister Joyce and Mead Baldwin, children Cory and Melissa of Kanata, Ontario; sister Juanita of Miramichi, N.B.; brother Donnie and Lynn (Gagne), children Brady and Keely of Charlo, N.B.

Predeceased by his mom, Jo Ann.

He is safe in his mother's arms again.

John N. Sutton

The death of John N. Sutton, of Aurora, Ontario occurred suddenly at South Lake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, Ontario on Monday, December 3, 2001 in his 76th year.

Beloved husband and best friend of Goldie (Parker) Sutton of Aurora, Ontario.

He was the brother of Jeannie (James) Cormack of Zephyr, Ontario, Ruth (Harvey) Hewitt of Barrie, Ontario, and James of Toronto. He leaves many nieces and nephews to mourn his passing.

He was predeceased by his mother and father and by two brothers.

John was an avid reader of The Tribune and enjoyed his many visits to N.B. In his younger years he sang in the choir of the church in Toronto and Aurora.

Funeral services were held at Thompson's Funeral Home Chapel on December 16, 2002 officiated by Rev. Lorne Dickson. Interment is to take place in the Dawsonville Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Harvey Hewitt, Robert Hewitt, Stephen Hewitt, Wendell Smith, Stephen Parker and Dale Powell.
