Victor Mallais

The death of Victor Mallais of Dalhousie occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of the St Joseph Hospital on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the age of 81. Born in Dalhousie, he was the son of the laate Frank Mallais and the late Delphine Mallet.

He is survived by his daughters; Diane Mallais (Kevin) of Quispamsis, Irene Winchester (Jerry) of Pt LaNim, Jeannie Mallais (Francine) of Ottawa, Cecile Aube (Ronald) of Kedgwick, Noella Aube (Paul) of Kedgwick, son; Claude (Linda) of Dieppe, 13 grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Norman (Chuck) of Dalhousie. He was predeceased by his partner Marie Anne LeBlanc.

His funeral was held from St Jean Baptiste Church, Dalhousie, Saturday October 9, 2010.

Donations to the Kidney Foundation in memory of Victor would be appreciated by the family.

Theresa Dickie

The death of Theresa Dickie of Rose's Special Care Home, Dalhousie and formerly of Black Point occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at the age of 87. Born in Campbellton, she was the daughter of the late George Firlotte and the late Mary Guitard.

She is survived by her sons Paul of Ottawa, Gerald (Roberta) of Ottawa, Vern (Christine) of Kingston Peninsula, Kevin (Muriel) of Plaster Rock, Bob (Peter) of Nanimo, daughters, Linda Furlotte of Dalhousie, Norma Duplessis (Francis) of St John and Janice Mallaley (Kirk) of Black Point. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren as well as her sister Rita Parrot and brother Norman.

Her funeral was held from St Gabriels Church, Jacquet River, Friday October 8, 2010.

Pallbearers were Joe Duplessis Owen Halfpenny, Jason Mallaley, Kirk Mallaley, Blair Firlotte and Peter Hewitt.

Marion Florence Ward (Dickie)

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on October 4, 2010 at the age of 90. Mrs Marion Florence Ward of Campbellton. She worked for many years in the canteen at the Campbellton Memorial Gardens (Civic Center) she was a member of UCW Association and was a Sunday school teacher for many years.

She leaves to mourn her sons Don Ward (Norma) of Oshawa, ON, Ralph Ward (Krista) of Calgary, AB, daughter Brenda Lovett of Edmonton, AB, sisters Helen Mair and Ruby MacPherson of Riverview, NB. Also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her husband Leslie Alexander Ward, son Eric Gordon Ward, daughter Charlotte Jean Dunphy and granddaughter Lynn Nicole Ward.

The funeral service was held at the First United Church Campbellton on Friday, October 8 at 3 pm. Interment; New Mills Cemetery.

Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.

Family would like to thank the staff and doctors of the Campbellton Regional Hospital, Maher's Funeral Home, Ladies of the UCW, Rev. Chery MacDonald of the First United church and Choir, with special thanks going to Aunt Millie (Dickie) of Miramichi NB and all the prayers and support of family and friends.

Roy Warren

The death of Roy Warren of Dalhousie occurred Friday October 8, 2010 at the age of 48. Born in Dalhousie he was the son of the late Vernon Warren and the late Shirley (Lawlor).

He is survived by his son Benjamin, sisters; Kathy Warren of Pt LaNim, Joy Berthelot (David ) of Campbellton, Pam Traer (Eddie) of Dalhousie Junction as well as several nieces and nephews.

His funeral was held from St Mary's Anglican Church, Dalhousie Monday October 11, 2010.

Elizabeth Harquail

The death of Elizabeth Harquail of Dalhousie occurred at Palliative Care Unit of the St Joseph Hospital Dalhousie, October 6, 2010 at the age of 89. Born in Dalhousie she was the daughter of the late Peter Harquail and the late Mary Elizabeth Brown Harquail.

Elizabeth is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by nieces Betty Ann Martin Aubie and Judy Harquail as well as her nephews Peter Martin, Edward, Michael and David Harquail.

Her funeral was held from the St John Bosco Church Dalhousie. Monday October 11, 2010.
