Margaret Vicaire-Bernier

Relatives and friends were saddened to learn of the death of Jean-Guy Ouellette which occurred on March 16, 2002, at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 64.

He is survived by his mother, Dora Francoeur-Ouellette; his spouse, Yvette; his daughter, Mireille; his sons, Julien and Roger-Guy; his sisters, Jeanne-Mance (Daryl Dobson, Shirley (Ernest Savoie), Carmelle (Eddy Savoie), Suzette (Robert Goudreau), Corinne (Alain Chouinard); his brothers, Yvon Ouellette and Nelson Lejeune, and also, three grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Edgar Ouellette; his sister, Jeanne, and his brother, Jean-Paul.

Funeral Mass was held on March 19, 2002, from Notre Dame des Neiges, Campbellton.

Funeral arrangements were placed in the care of Chaleur Funeral Home, 47 Alexander Street, Campbellton.

George Edward Miller

The death of George Edward Miller of 18 McGarvie Street, Campbellton, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on March 31, 2002, at the age of 68.

Born in Campbellton on September 18, 1933 he was the son of Scott Miller and Lucy Desroches. He had worked as a brick layer and in maintenance for 35 years and had served in the army reserve.

He is survived by his wife Evangeline Malley of Campbellton; his daughter, Anne Malley-Miller of Campbellton, his stepdaughter, Claudette Lagace of Campbellton; his special daughters, Kim Parker-MacDonald of Chatham and Tammy Parker-MacFadyen of Fredericton; his son, Ron Malley of Campbellton, his sister, Beatrice Parker of Campbellton; two grandsons, Lee and Shawn Malley of Campbellton; a special granddaughter, Brooke Lee-MacFayden of Fredericton and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother Bill Miller.

Gerald Audit

The death of Gerald Audit of Campbellton and formerly of Jacquet River occurred on April 4, 2002, at the age of 70. He was born in Jacquet River to Jean Baptiste Audit and Hilda Theriault.

He is survived by his friend, Pierrette Belanger; his daughters, Jean Short (Wade) of Halifax, Maurin Pascal (Linn) of Edmonton and Clare Archibald (Wayne) of Riverview; his sons, Neil of Montreal, Jon (Arlene) of Jacquet River and Bruce of Saint John; his brothers Roland of Trenton, Ontario and Marc of Moncton, his sister, Laurette Leblanc of Campbellton; 11 grandchild and one great-grandchild.

He was predeceased by his parents and sister Annette Caissie.

Fedora Francoeur

The death of Fedora Francoeur of Lorne occurred at St Joseph's Hospital, Dalhousie, on March 20. She was 74.

Born in Lorne, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Cathleen (Carrier) Francoeur.

She is survived by two daughters, Janice Hickey (Percy) of Lorne and Jennifer (Tony) of Nash Creek, a son Camille (Bernadette) of Lorne and two grandchildren, Derrek and Francis Francoeur.

Also surviving are two brothers, Ronald and Raymond and two sisters, Theresa Francoeur and Elizabeth LaPointe.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers Leander and Thomas.

Margaret E. Patterson
1919-2002

Margaret E. Patterson, age 82 years of Riverview, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, April 3, 2002.

She is survived by her husband, James A. Patterson; two sons, Terry and his wife Alice of Riverview and George R. and his wife Joan of Halifax; one brother Carl and his wife Corrine of Calgary, and two grandsons, Danny and Darren.

She was predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Harold and Charles.

Eva Petersen

Eva Petersen of New Mills, wife of the late Verner Petesen passed away at the Dalhousie Nursing Home on Monday, April 1st at the age of 91.

Born in Denmark, she was the daughter of Paul Pederson and Johanne Jensen. She was a member of the New Mills United Church, the New Mills U.C.W. and the Blacklands W.I.

She is survived by two daughters, Amy Davis (John) of Pointe La Nim and Esther Crandell (Ernie) of Port William, Nova Scotia; seven sons, Roger (Kathie) of Ottawa, Kennety (Marion) of Dalhousie, Dennis (Fay) of Ottawa, Walter (Verna) of Ottawa, Manley (Joan) of Charlo, Ole (Phyllis) of Ottawa, and John (Arlene) of B.C.; Three sisters, Mary, Katie and Harriet, one brother, Ove; 29 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Verner; three brothers, Eric, Henry and Erling and one sister, Ina.

Mark Hector Guitar

The death of Mark Hector Guitard of 66 Craig Road in Charlo occurred at St Joseph's Hospital, Dalhousie, on April 3, 2002 at the age of 46.

He was born in Dalhousie on February 26, 1956, to Clinton Guitard and Viola Bertin and was an oil truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Gilberte LeClair-Guitard; his daughter, Chrissy Guitard; his son, Troy Guitard, all of Charlo, and his sister, Kim Guitard and brothers Brian and Derrick, all of Dalhousie. He is also survived by his parents, Clinton and Viola.
