Beatrice Judith

The death of Beatrice Judith Beckwith, wife of the late O.F. Beckwith, occurred on Thursday, September 8, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.

Born in Wallagrass, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Joyime and Mea (Labbe) Morin.

She was employed as an executive assistant with Canada Post before her retirement.

Surviving are her brothers, Medley (Marilyn) of Montreal, Herant (Doris) of Dalhousie, Robert (Susan) of Dalhousie, Claude of Charlo, Ronald (Gail) of Dalhousie, Paul (Linda) of Charlo, her sisters; Marie Anne Fournier of Connecticut, Mea Heppell of Charlo, Marielle Guitard (Jack) of Dalhousie, Lilianne Theriault of Moncton, sister-in-law, Dolly Morin of Herman, Maine and many nieces and nephews.

Her special friend, Dewitt Karnes, brothers, Norman and Patrick and brothers-in-law, Bruno Theriault and Lucien Fournier predeceased her.

At her request, there will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass from St. John Bosco Church, 458 Edward St., Dalhousie, NB on Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Arrangements under the care and direction of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424). Michael Ray O'connell

The death of Michael Ray O'Connell of Glen Levit, N.B., occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on September 3, 2005, at the age of 81.

Born in Campbellton on August 11, 1924, he was the son of the late Arthur O'Connell and the late Mary Shannon.

Surviving is his daughter Cathy (Michael) Murphy of Hampton, New Brunswick, his son Michael T. O'Connell of Glen Levit, his brother Andrew (Jackie) O'Connell of Moncton, his grandchildren Lee Steeves, Kris O'Connell, Dusty O'Connell, Ryan O'Con- nell, Kyle O'Connell, Tim Murphy, and his great grandchildren Brynn and Brody O'Connell.

The funeral was held from St. Anthony's Church in Glen Levit on September 5, 2005, officiated by Father Bill Arseneau, with interment in St. Anthony's Parish Cemetery. Pallbearers were Lee Steeves, Keith White, Forest White, Howard Cooling, Tim Murphy, and Doug White. Funeral arrangements were placed in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.

Roger Joseph Lavallee

The death of Roger Joseph Lavallee, of 92 Victoria Street, Campbellton, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on September 7, 2005, at the age of 69.

Born in Dalhousie on July 22, 1936, he was the son of Arthur Lavallee and Corinne Levesque.

Surviving is son Kevin (Tina Bourgeois) of Dalhousie, daughter Kimberley of Montreal, sisters Therese Beckwith, Bernadette (Marcel Valcourt) of Montreal, Rita (Andre St. Onge) of Montreal, Alice (Albenie Fournier) of Dalhousie, Rose Lavallee of Dundee, Carmelle (Luc St. Laurent) of Edmundston, Rose-Anne (Marcel Savoie) of Dundee, Louise (Andre Bujold), Georgette Lavallee of Eel River Crossing, Monique Lavallee of Montreal and Rachelle Lavallee of Dalhousie, brothers Omer (Rosanna Duguay) of Dalhousie, Gerald of Dundee and Real of Ontario. Also surviving are five grandchildren Jennifer, Tara and Crystal (twins), Cheryl-Lynn and Dustin.

The funeral was held from St. John the Baptist Church in Dalhousie on Friday, September 9, 2005, officiated by Father Doiron, with interment in the parish cemetery. Funeral arrangements were placed in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Dalhousie.
