Joshua Calvin Firth
Joshua Calvin Firth Of Flatlands passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on August 25, 2008 at the age of 7 years old. Born January 8, 2001 in Moncton, NB, he was the son of Caroline Selesse and Mark Firth.
He leaves to mourn his little sister, Darcy; grandparents, Gilles & Maxine Selesse (Glenwood); his uncles, Ricky Selesse (Calgary); Dean & Derrick Firth (Alberta) and many great aunts, uncles. He is predeceased by his twin sister, Bailey. The funeral service was conducted at Maher's Funeral Chapel, Campbellton on August 28, 2008 with Reverend Joel Gagnon officiating, eulogy given by Joshua's great aunt, Jackie Thomas.
Pallbearers were Gilles Selesse, Ricky Selesse, Shawn Firth, Jason Law, Barry Sharpe, Randy MacNaughton. Honorary pallbearers were Sandra Selesse, Stella Selesse, Lyman Craswell, Auley Craswell, Clint Craswell, Jennifer Belliveau, Darlene Pelletier, Wayne Charlong, Paul Thomas, Bona Law, Flora Bernard, Brigette Pelletier.
Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton. Josh was a very special little boy who will be missed by everyone who knew him.
James Thomas
James Thomas At his residence in Campbellton on Sunday, August 31, 2008 at the age of 75 years, passed away Mr. James Thomas, husband of Celine (Bujold) Thomas, and son of late Budwa Thomas and late Elizabeth Bertin.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Celine of Campbellton, his children, Corinne Thomas of Flatlands; Allan (Johanne) of Brampton, Ont; and Ann (Kevin MacIntosh) of Quispamsis, N.B.; his seven grandchildren, Celina, Ryan, Jeremy, Sasha, Lisa, Jacob and Gabrielle; his grandson, Caleb; his sisters and brothers, Mary Harris (Henry) of Campbellton; Elizabeth Bujold of Campbellton; Joe (Beatrice) of Campbellton; and Ernest (Louise) of Cross Point, Qc. Many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and friends will also miss him. His parents, his parents-in-law, his brother and sisters: Billy, Johnny, Helen, Lawrence, George (T-Boy) and Anthony predeceased him.
The funeral was held on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Campbellton, and celebrated by Father William Arseneault with burial in the parish cemetery. Dorothy and Royce Calder They have been laid to rest at Campbellton Rural Cemetery on Thursday, August 28, 2008. Royce was born at Jacquet River, April 2, 1925 and passed away at Sarnia, April 17, 2006. Dorothy was born January 16, 19?? and passed away August 21, 2008 at Windsor, Ontario.
They resided at Tide Head and moved to Sarnia, Ontario in 1959. Mom and Dad to Pamela (Rob Gamelin), Sarnia, Deborah (1951) and Miriam (Les Kleinsmith) of Windsor, Ont. Grammie and Grampie to Derek (Christina) Gibbs, Sarnia, Jeremy (Jamie) Raaymaker, Calgary, Samantha (Craig) Ward, Sarnia and Sabrina Raaymaker, Canmore, Alberta. Royce is also survived by sister, Norma Cossaboom, Grand Mannan. Predeceased by sister, Vern Northrup. Dorothy is survived by brothers, Allison (Beth) Pollock, Tide Head, Fred (Miriam) Pollock, Toronto and sister, Shirley Dryden, Sarnia. Predeceased by siblings, Charlie, Kirk, Margaret (Peggy) Boudreau and Alice Todd. Several nieces and nephews.
They loved New Brunswick and chose to take their final rest here. Thanks to Rev J Postelwaite for his kind words.
Special thanks to Allison (Uncle Bunny) and Beth Pollock for their love, kindness and hospitality during this difficult time. Also thank you to all Mom and Dad's family and friends for sharing their memories. Mom and Dad were special people and will be missed.
