Carol Arseneault
1963 - 2006

Halifax- At the QE II health center, on Sunday, August 13th, 2006, passed away at the age of 42, Carol Arseneault, wife of Richard Arseneault, residing in Cross Point.

Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn her mother: Maria Arseneault; her father: the late Wilfred S. (Beboy) Arseneault; one daughter: Marie-Karine; one son: André-Philippe; two sister: Lisa et Anne; one brother: René; also some nieces and nephews: Marc-André Doucet, Natacha Doucet, Alexandra Barnaby, Denie-Michel Barnaby, Cathy Arseneault, Lynn Arseneault, Letecia Arseneault, Nikki Arseneault et Nicholas Arseneault.

The funeral mass was held from Our Lady of Lourdes Church, on August 17th at 4pm. Father Morrison officiating. Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.






The life of Rev. Dr. Marjorie H. Russell
1914-2006

Marjorie was born and raised in Massachusetts, U.S.A. She served as a minister from 1959 to her passing. In 1973, she received a spiritual calling to move to Nouvelle, Quebec where she co-founded an international Christian healing prayer ministry: The Arcadia World of Prayer Ministry Inc.

Rev. Marjorie enjoyed learning. In 1999, she completed her M.Ed. from Cambridge College and in 2004, after three years of post graduate studies, she received her Doctorate of Theology degree from Holos University Graduate Seminary in Springfield Missouri, U.S.A.

Dr. Marjorie Russell traveled widely in over 18 countries, spoke in the U.S. from coast to coast, England, France, Scotland, Wales, throughout Canada, Europe and Middle East. In April of this year, she lectured throughout England presenting her newly formed university course to several groups throughout the UK.

She was the widow of a prominent U.S. educator, Dr. Garland Russell. She was an art teacher, a naturalist and an author. She served as a University professor and had seven books in publication. She recently made her 16th lecture tour of England where she ministered over the last 44 years. On August 17, she was in the process of presenting her University course to British students when suddenly, suffered an aneurism of the aorta and passed very quickly on August 17, 2006.

God blessed Dr. Russell with two daughters, Linda Hawes who resides in Nouvelle, Quebec and Virginia Hanson who resides in Vermont. She leaves with great love her six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. The family wishes to thank all who have participated in her life and in her passing.

Ricky Francoeur

Correction

The death of Ricky Francoeur of Jacquet River, and formerly of Lorne occured suddenly Friday, September 15, 2006, in Nash Creek the age of 42. Born in Dalhousie, the son of Ronald Francoeur and Florence LaPointe. He is survived by his wife Ellen Hickey, son Rickster, father Ronald and mother Florence.

His funeral was held Tuesday, September 19, 2006, at St. Maria Goretti Church, Lorne, officiated by Father David Ferguson with burial in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Chester Hickey, Weldon Hickey, Nolan Hickey, Norman Hickey, Romeo Devereaux, and Chase Godin.

Rita Richard

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on September 18, 2006, at the age of 72, Mrs. Rita Richard of the Village Nursing Home.

She leaves to mourn her companion: Maurice Imohff; two sons: Marc (Marcella) Richard of South Tetagouche and Pierre (Louise Van Otterdijk) Richard of St. Alexis; sisters: Hilda (Hector) Doucet of Campbellton, Lois Valdron, Dalhousie, Marjorie (Paul) Alliston, Oakville, ON, Linda Plourde, Atholville, Patsy Durette, Atholville; two brothers: Bobby (Laurette) Durette, Tide Head and David (Van) Durette of McLeods; 7 grandchildren, her ex-husband Roger (Francine) Richard of Tide Head; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one sister, Jean Zatychec.

The funeral mass was held from St. Thomas Aquinas Church, on Thursday September 21st at 2pm. Father Bill Arseneault officiating.

Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.

CHEDORE, Roger Charles

CHEDORE, Roger Charles - The death of Roger Charles Chedore, husband of Dawn (Weaver) Chedore of Saint John, NB, occurred on Thursday, September 21, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family and friends.

Born in Campbellton, NB, a son of the late Charles Leslie "Ted" and Adele (LeBlanc) Chedore. Roger was employed as an Operating Room Technician in Campbellton and at St. Joseph's Hospital in Saint John for a few years. He joined Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. and served as an agent for a year after which he joined the City of Saint John Recreation and Parks Dept. and spent several years at Fisher Lakes and Rockwood Park and the City Arenas. For the past eighteen years he was a Saint John City Fuel Truck Driver. During his youth Roger was the goal tender for the Campbellton Tigers Midget AAA Hockey Team and he enjoyed playing piano and guitar at many family functions. Survived by his wife, Dawn; his children: Dr. Todd R. Chedore (Roberta Cox) of Quispamsis, NB and Tanya D. (Scott) Watters of Grand Bay - Westfield, NB; ten sisters: Elsie McLaughlin of Campbellton, Joan Landry of Sudbury, ON, Shirley (Norman) Roy of McGregor, ON, Audrey (Ernest) Gagnon of Windsor, ON, Phyllis Charette (John Beckman) of Providence Bay, ON, Donna-Lee Doucette of Campbellton, Donna-Rae (Paul) Philippe of Sudbury, ON, Sandra (Marcel) Lanthier of Amherstburg, ON, Margaret "Peggy" (Howard) Geraghty of Campbellton, and Susan-Lynn (Ronald) Menzies of Glencoe, NB; sister-in-law, Jacqueline Chedore of Tilbury, ON; four grandchildren: Rebecca, Alexandra, Kaley and Kara; many nephews and nieces. Predeceased by his parents and a brother, Maynard.

Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Saturday from 7-9 pm and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Pius X Church, Somerset St., Saint John on Monday, September 25, 2006 at 11 am. Interment will be at a later date.

Roger Roy

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on September 19, 2006, at the age of 56, Mr. Roger Roy of Dundee.

He leaves to mourn his wife: Marcia Thériault; his mother: Lorilda Roy Trépanier; one daughter: Melanie; one son: Johnny; sisters: Anne Marie Pelletier, Gloria LeBlanc, Joan LaPointe, Adrienne Daigle et Deborah Cormier; brothers: Donald, Allan et Arthur; granddaughter: Morgan; grandson: Mathew; and also several nieces and nephews.

The funeral mass will be held from St. Jean Marie Viennay Church, on Friday September 22nd at 4pm. Father Réjean Landry officiating.
