The death of Alfreda Lepage Malley occurred at the Village Nursing Home in Campbellton Wednesday December 1, 2010 at the age of 90. She was the daughter of the late James and Delima (Poirier) Fontaine. She is survived by three daughters Jeannette LePage Pembroke ON, Eveline Doucet (Lionel), Dorothe Lepage Dieppe, two sons Gilbert Lepage and Georges Malley of Dalhousie also one brother Daniel Fontaine of Dalhousie. Predeceased by both her husbands Armand Lepage and Georges Malley.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at the nursing home for the loving care they gave to their mother during her stay.
Harold Dempsey
The death of Harold Dempsey of Black Point occurred at the Dalhousie Nursing Home Friday, December 3, 2010 at the age of 94. Born in Jacquet River, he was the son of the late Michael and Paulina (Dempsey).
He is survived by his wife Lynn, sons; Brian (Joanne) of Sherwood PEI., Michael (Ellen) of Ottawa, daughters; Donna Dempsey (Brian Furlotte) of Murdochville, Paula Dixon (Barry) of Crapeaud PEI, nine grandchildren as well as his brothers Cameron and Murdoch and sister Hazel.
Harold was predeceased by a son Barry, brothers; Lyle and Lorenzo and sisters Della and Caroline.
Harold worked in the mines in Murdochville and loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and gardening.
Pallbearers were Brian Furlotte, Barry Dixon, Brian, Steven, Rick and Michael Dempsey.
Honorary pallbearers were Rodney McCurdy, Allison Blake, Claude MacPhee, Gary MacPhail, Frank Senechal, Finley Cook and Lawrence LaPointe.
