Mary Ann Brisk Vicaire
Passed away at the CLSC Malauze, Matapédia on October 18th, 2006, at the age of 97, Mary Ann Brisk Vicaire of Listuguj, QC.
She leaves to mourn her daughter: Linda Brisk, Listuguj; her sons: Gilbert Brisk, Robert William Brisk, Walter Brisk, Robert J. Brisk, Melvin Brisk of Listuguj, Frank Brisk of New York, and Vincent Brisk of Connecticut. Predeceased by her husband John Brisk, her father Alexander Vicaire and her mother Annie Thibodeau.
The funeral service was held from Maher's Funeral Chapel, on Saturday October 21st at 10am.
Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.
Oscar McLaughlin
Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on October 2nd, 2006 at the age of 90, Mr. Oscar McLaughlin.
Born in Tracadie, he was the son of the late Elmira Godin and the late William David McLaughlin. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Margaret Roy, daughter Martha of Point La Nim, sons David (Chris) of London, Ontario, Douglas (Ann) of Charlo, 3 grandchildren, Lynn St. Laurent, Beverly McLaughlin and Kelly McLaughlin, and 4 great-grandchildren.
The funeral mass was held at the St. John Bosco Church in Dalhousie on October 5th, officiated by Father Bill Arsenault. Pallbearers were Bob Rae, Bob St. Onge, Art MacNeish, Earl Mulroney, Armand LeCouffe and Lloyd Harrison.
Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home in Dalhousie.
