Elenor Marie Wysotte

Eleanor Marie Wysotte of Listuguj, P.Q., passed away in Sydney, N.S. on May 11. She was 32.

Born in Worcester, Mass., on July 8, 1969, she was the daughter of Stanley and Rebecca Wysote and was a homemaker.

Besides her parents, now of Orlando, Florida, she is survived by two daughters, Caltherine O'Sullivan of Derry, New Hampshire and Morgan O'Sullivan of Listuguj, sisters Roseann Martin of Listufuj and Lynn Wysote of Orlando and brothers Stanley and Francis Wysote od Listuguj and Donald Wysote of Millbury, Mass.

Also surviving are 13 nieces and nephews.

The funeral was held in St. Ann's Church, Listuguj, on May 17 with Fr. Landry officiating.

Pallbearers were Stanley and Donald Wysote, Francis and Edwart Martin, Jordan Sanipass and John Wysote.

Interment was in the parish cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.

Clement (Peter) Belanger

Relatives and friends were sadened by the sudden death of Mr. Clement (Peter) Belanger which occurred at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal on may 9, 2002, after a lengthy illness.

Mr. Belanger is survived by his wife, the former Rita Maltais, his two daughters, Lisette (Jacques) and Brigitte (Sylvain); three sons, Jacques (Minda), Denis (Brenda) and Daniel (Gisele); three sisters, Rejeanne, Lauranwce and Doris; one brother, Jean Guy (Marcelle); six grandchildren Ysabelle, Jessica, Sebastien, Shany, Pascal and Jonathan and two great-grandchildren, Shon and Emmanuel.

His granddaughter Krista predeceaded him in December of 2000.

There was an outpouring of love and affection from throughout the country with many flowers and tributes for the Belanger family.

Funeral Mass was held from Our Lady of the snows Church, Campbellton with Father Morrison officiating. Interment in the Ramsay Street cemetery.

Pallbears were members of the St. Arthur fire brigade.

Funeral arrangements were placed in the care of Chaleur Funeral Home, 47 Alexander Street, Campbellton.

Regina Litwin

On May 13, Regina Litwin passed away in Montreal at the age of 102. She was the widow of Julius Litwin, who owned Litwin's Department Store, Campbellton. Both were long-time residents of the city.

She was a charter member of Lady Alexander Chapter 24, Order of the Eastern Star, Campbellton, formed in 1948. She was made an honorary life member in 1988.

She in survived by two sons, Manuel and Harold, two daughters, Rhoda and Sandra and their families including grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
