Brenda Legacy
The death of Brenda Legacy occured at her residence Sunday, October 9, 2005, at the age of 58.
Born in St. Stephen, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Guy Seeley and Pearl Leavett.
She is survived by her husband John, her sons Joseph (Sally) of Black Point, Rick of Mitchell Settlement, Jeff (Angie) of Dalhousie, her daughters Cindy Legacy of Ontario, Angela Legacy of Alberta, her brothers Eric of St. Stephen, Louis of Fredericton, her sister Shirley McAlister of St. Stephen as well as numerous grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son Guy, her daughter Tammy, her brother Guy and a grandson David Scott.
Visitation was at MacMillan's Funeral Home with a private family funeral service following the visitation. Funeral arrangements were in the care of MacMillan's Funeral Home, Black Point.
Daniel Ross Jones
The death of Daniel Ross Jones of Mann's Mountain, N.B., occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on October 1, 2005, at the age of 60.
Born in Campbellton, he was the son of the late Leonard Jones and Hope (Mann) Farrer. Daniel worked for 32 years as a Heavy Equipment Operator for the Department of Transportation.
Surviving is his wife Nancy (Murray) Jones of Mann's Mountain, sons Troy (Tanya) and Trent Jones of Moncton; daughter Heidi Jones of Calgary, AB, his mother Hope Farrer of Upsalquitch, sisters Bonnie Jones of Dalhousie, Kathy (Wayne) Borden of Robinsonville, brother Todd Farrer of Sqaw Cap and several nieces, nephews and his special aunties.
Predeceasing him in 1985 was his father Leonard of Toronto.
The funeral service was held from Savoie Funeral Chapel on October 5, 2005, officiated by Rev. Andrew C. Fraser and Rev. Raymond Kraglund, with interment in the Dawsonville Cemetery. Pallbearers were John R. Ryan, Ricky MacDougall, Todd Farrer, Ken Murray, Ron Thibodeau and Nickolas Murray. Honourary pallbearers were Jean Ryan, Alberta Harris, Myrea Firth, Shirley MacDougall, Bonnie Jones, Kathy Borden, Jeannie Crossman, Dale Ryan, Richard Adams, Dale Firth, Scotty Murray and Wayne Borden. Doris Kathleen Roherty
The death of Doris Kathleen Roherty of 243 Dover Street, Campbellton, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on October 8, 2005, at the age of 81.
Born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, on November 22, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Sherrard.
Surviving is her daughter Judy (Bill) Peacock of Beresford, N.B., her son Arnold (Louise) Roherty of Rothesay, N.B. and her sister Ivah Sherrard of Altanta, Georgia. Also surviving are her granddaughters Kathleen and Sarah Peacock, Eustacia (Stephen) Bradstreet and her grandsons Matthew, Justin and Charles Roherty.
Predeceasing were her parents Thomas and Elizabeth, husband Arnold, Phyllis (Chad) Taylor of Winnipeg, MB, Lois (Reggie) Clair of Ontario and Willa (Bill) Alford of Tide Head.
The funeral service was held from Maher's Funeral Chapel on October 10, 2005, officiated by Rev. Genevieve Trudel, with interment in the Campbellton Rural Cemetery. Pallbearers were Charles Roherty, Matthew Roherty, Justin Roherty and Bill Peacock. Funeral arrangements were placed in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.
Hectorine L. Delaney
The death of Hectorine L. Delaney of Dalhousie, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on October 15, 2005, at the age of 88.
Born in Campbellton, she was the daughter of the late John Boudreau and the late Leocadie Landry.
Surviving are her daughters Judy Delaney of Charlo, Sharon Delaney of Dalhousie, sons Garfield Delaney of Montreal, Barry Delaney of Dalhousie and Ronald Delaney of Dalhousie. Also surviving is her sister Annie Boudreau of Timmins, Ontario, as well as 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Predeceasing were her parents John and Leocadie, her husband Gorman, her daughter Marie and an infant son.
The funeral will be held from St. John Bosco Church in Dalhousie on Thursday, October 20, 2005, at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Rev. W. Arseneau, with interment in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Dalhousie. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.
Nicole Harquail
The death of Nicole Harquail of Dalhousie, occurred at the Bathurst Regional Hospital on October 5, 2005, at the age of 46.
Born in Dalhousie, she was the daughter of Omer LeClair and Eunice Legace. Nicole was employed as a Registered Nurse.
Surviving is her husband Daniel Harquail of Dalhousie, parents Omer and Eunice LeClair, son Timmy Harquail of Dalhousie, sisters Rachel LeClair of Campbellton and Therese Fontaine of Dalhousie, brothers Maurice LeClair of Moncton, Brian LeClair of Kedgwick and Claude LeClair of Campbellton. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held from St. John the Baptist Church in Dalhousie on October 7, 2005, officiated by Rev. Y. Doiron, with interment in the parish cemetery. Funeral arrangements were placed in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Dalhousie.
