Charles Savage

SAVAGE - We would like to send our gratitude to everyone attending the funeral services of Charles Savage. A special thanks to the Village Nursing Home, Father Bill and Leopaul Richard for their services. Also we would like to thank the Wal-Mart Management Staff, Caretaker, Keith Bujold and friend, Norma Cronkite.

Father J. Albert Richard

Est décédé au foyer de soin de Campbellton, le 17 octobre 2008 à l'âge de 81 ans, Père Albert Richard de Campbellton et autrefois d'Atholville. Né le 6 novembre 1926 il était le fils de feu Arcade (Archie) Richard et de feue Madelaine Arseneault. Il laisse dans le deuil ses soeurs Alice Fréchette de Gatineau, QC, Thérèse (Jean) Turcotte de Farnham, QC et Anita Power de Val d'Amour; son frère Nazaire (Jeannette) Richard, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. Prédécédé par 4 frères Augustin, Alfred, Benoit et François et une soeur, Mélina. Les funérailles ont eu lieu en l'Église Notre Dame de Lourdes d'Atholville, le lundi 20 octobre à 14h00. La messe a été célébrée par Monseigneur Valerie Vienneau, co-célébrant Père Morrison, Père Wade et plusieurs confrères prêtres. Les arrangements funéraires ont été confiés aux soins du Salon Funéraire Maher de Campbellton.

Sylvain Nadeau

At the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at the age of 46 passed away Sylvain Nadeau of Escuminac, Qc., spouse of Suzanne Gallant. Born in Beauce, Qc., he was the son of Yolande Vachon and Marcel Nadeau. Other than his spouse and parents, he will be sadly missed by his children: Celine Roy (Gradon Levesque), Richard Gallant, Stephanie and Marie-Pier Nadeau; his grandchildren: Keven, Brandon and Oceanne; his sisters and brothers: Josianne Bouffard (François), Maryse Nadeau (Daniel), Julie (Allain) Nadeau, Marquis Nadeau and Guy (Josée) Nadeau. Many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and friends will also miss him. Funeral mass was held on Saturday, October 25, 2008 in the Ste-Helene Church, Cross Point, Qc. and officiated by Father Leblanc with burial in the parish cemetery. Marguerite Doucet

Passed away at the Dalhousie Nursing Home on October 29, 2008 at the age of 92, Mrs. Marguerite Doucet. Born in Eel River Crossing on January 19, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Antoine Maltais and the late Isabelle Pitre. She leaves to mourn her children John (Joan Ann Godfrey) of New Mill, Renaud (Ivette Boudreau) of Shediac, Paul (Juanita Firth) of Charlo, Irene (Frank Russell) of Brassard, QC, Robert (Anne Jones) of Pointe la Nime, her sister Laura Maltais (Camille Methot) of Dalhousie, her half-sister Cecille Maltais (Charles Haché) of Eel River. Also survived by her 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, daughter Blanche and brother John Maltais. The funeral mass was held from St. John Bosco Church Dalhousie on Saturday November 1st at 11am. Father Bill Arseneault officiating. Interment at the Parish Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Dalhousie.
