Amédée (Dédé) Desrosiers
1918-2010
Amédée (Dédé) Desrosiers passed away at the Palliative Care in Dalhousie on December 23, 2010 at the age of 70. He was the son of late John Desrosiers and the late Eugenie Diotte.
He leaves behind his wife, Annie (Maltais), his three daughters: Carolle (John), Lynne (Gary), Joanne (Stephane) and Ryan, his beloved grandson. He also leaves behind two brothers: Omer (Simonne) and Claude (Claudette), two sisters: Rejeanne and Diane (Denis) as well as a sister in law, Odette and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one brother: Armel and two sisters: Eveline (Jos) and Gisele.
Annie Hamilton
The death of Annie Hamilton of Eel River Crossing occurred Sunday, December 19th, 2010 at the Palliative care unit of St Josephs Hospital in Dalhousie at the age of 84. Born in Eel River Crossing, she was the daughter of the late Duncan MacDonald and the late Annie (Dickie)
She is survived by her nieces Sheila MacDonald of Saint John, Anne Griffin (Glenn) of Saint John, nephews John MacDonald (Margaret) of Saint John, and George MacDonald (Jane) of Manitoba.
She was predeceased by her husband Wiley, stepmother Ella Loane and brother John Alexander.
Elsie Godin
The death of Elsie Godin of Lorne occured at the Bathurst Regional Hospital Monday, December 20th at the age of 69. Born in Nash Creek, she was the daughter of the late Myles Bernard and the late Florenda (Furlong)
She is survived by her husband Herman, daughters Donna Godin (Rod Arsenault) of Fredericton, Susan Godin of London, England, Kim Sumara (Jeff) of Toledo, Ontario, sons Barry (Joanne) of Ridgeway, Ontario, and Allan (Kathy) of Pembrooke, Ontario. She is also survived by six grandchildren, as well as her sisters Doris Comeau, Gladys Paradis, Iris Furlotte, and Theresa Carrier.
She was predeceased by her sister Pearl Steeves and brothers Delphis and Ralph Bernard.
Pallbearers were Jeff Sumara, Rodd Arsenault, Barry, Allen, Tyler and Ray Godin.
Anita Parent
Mrs. Anita Parent, of Richardsville, 71, after a long battle against cancer passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, on Thursday, December 23, 2010. She was the spouse of Delphis Parent and the daughter of the late Catherine (nee: Glazer) and the late Philippe Coulombe.
Besides her spouse Delphis, she will also be missed by her children Mario (Diane) of St Arthur, Daniel (Joyce) of Malauze and Linda (Theodore Toto) of Campbellton; five grandchildren: Sebastien, Eric, Pierre-Luc, Chantale and Remi; sister and brothers; Alcide (Marie Jeanne) of Kedgwick, Emilien (Elizabeth) of Kedgwick, Germain (Mabel) of Montreal, Simonne (Jean-Marc) of Montreal, Mariette (Rene) of Montreal and several nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was predeceased by her son Michel, her daughters' Johanne and Claudette; two sisters; Germaine and Cecile; one brother; Gabriel.
Arthur "Art" J.A. Saucier
Arthur "Art" J.A. Saucier, 82, of Spencer Memorial Home and formerly of Murphy Ave., Moncton, passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday December 27, 2010. Born in Baker Lake, NB, he was the son of the late Phydime and Antoinette (Blanchette) Saucier.
Art was retired from the City of Campbellton Power and NB Power as a Lineman with a combined service of 37 years. He attended St Michael's Roman Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening, collecting ceramic horses and spending precious time with his wife and family.
Art will be sadly missed by his wife of over 57 years, Ameline (Maranda) Saucier; sons, Lloyd (Alice), Moncton; Dan (Susan), Burlington, ON; daughter , Debra MacDonald (Larry Pellerin), Moncton; grandchildren, Robert, Daniel, Ethan and Nicole; sister, Jean Dac Francoeur, Tide Head; several loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Theresa and Evangeline "Lynn"
Isabel Blais
Isabel Blais passed away December 25, 2010 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 55. Daughter of Joseph Blais Jr, and Eliza LeBlanc.
She is survived by her daughter, Angela Marie Blais, her granddaughter Star Lux, her grandson William, four brothers and four sisters and countless nieces and nephews.
Léo Allard
Léo Allard, 82, of Moncton and formerly of Benjamin River, passed away at his residence on Sunday, December 26, 2010.
Born June 15, 1928 in Benjamin River, he was the son of the late Wilbert and Clementine (Gagné) Allard.
He was a retired Laboratory Technician with NBIP and a member of the NBIP Union.
Leo is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Priscille (Cormier), his loving daughter, Joanne Meunier (Terry Smith); his two special grandchildren, Tyler and Devon all of Moncton; his brothers and sisters; Theresa Lepage (late Mathias) and Eugene (Shirley) both of Charlo, Genevieve LeBlanc (Raymond) of Winnipeg, Pearl Baskin (late Donald) and Marcel (Simonne) both of Burlington, ON, and Bert (late Leola) of Benjamin River.
Mariana Ellen Voges Cook
1980-2010
Passed away at the Ottawa General Hospital on December 25, 2010 at the age of 30, Mariana Ellen Voges Cook. Born in Campbellton on July 9, 1980, she was the daughter of Dr. Armando Voges and Bonnie Cook Voges.
Mariana worked in Ottawa as an administrative assistant for the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission. She achieved her 2nd Dan in Tae Kwan Do and was an instructor of Tae Kwan Do at the University of Ottawa. Mariana had a love of languages and cultures. She loved her friends and family dearly and we will love and miss her always.
She is survied by her parents Armando and Bonnie Voges of Campbellton; her sisters, Marcia (Jason LaPointe) Voges of Halifax, Mariza Voges of St John's NL., and her brother, Anthony Voges of Vancouver. She was also survied by her boyfriend, Oscar Romero, aunts, uncles and cousins.
