Adrienne Doucette Johnson
Adrienne Doucette Johnson of Winnipeg, Manitoba, formerly of Val D'Amour, NB, passed away peacefully in her home, Wednesday, October 10, 2007, at the age of 70 years old.
Born in Campbellton, April 17, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Grace Vaillancourt. She was predeceased in death by her husband Julien Johnson.
She is survived by her children, Carmel Hall, Irene Ouellette, Grace Cassel (Lorne), Adrien Johnson (Marcelle), grandchildren Jeremie Ouellette (Mel), Leilani Clayton (Wesley), Stephanie Ouellette and Amanda Johnson, great grandchildren Kyana and Anna Lise.
Also survived by sisters Alcida Bouchard, Hermance Ouellet (Jim), Clemence Perron, brothers Duffy Doucet (Judy), Charles Doucet and many nieces, nephews, friends, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
David Poirier
The death of David Poirier of Dalhousie occurred Wednesday, October 03, 2007, at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 65. Born in St. Maure, he was the son of Edgar Poirier and Lucie (LeBlanc).
He is survived by his wife Adelia (Landry), daughter Gisele Poirier (Etienne Roussell) of Shippagan and Marcel Poirier of Dalhousie, 2 grandchildren Kelly and Kevin Pierre Roussell. He is also survived by his sisters Patsy Poirier of Campbellton, Annette Poirier of Shediac and brothers Mathieu of Balmoral, Rheal of Welch Rd. and Gerald of Dalhousie. He was pre-deceased by his parents and a brother Guy.
His funeral was held from St. Jean Baptiste Church, Dalhousie Monday October 8, 2007, officiated by Father Landry with burial in the parish Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were in the care of MacMillan's Funeral Home, Black Point. www.macmillansfuneralhome.ca.
Florence Mallaley
The death of Florence Mallaley of Lorne occurred at the Dalhousie Nursing Home Tuesday, October 02, 2007, at the age of 85. Born in Lorne, she was the daughter of the late John Chamberlain and Margaret Ann (Ferland).
She is survived by her son Terry (Alfreda) of Fredericton Jct., daughters Shirley Furlotte (Owen) of Caramat, ON; Beverly Chamberlain (Albert) of New Mills; Thelma Desroches (Russ) of St. Catherines, ON; Anne Marie LaPointe (Kenny) of Belledune, 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren as well as a sister Eva Godin. Florence was pre-deceased by her husband James, daughter Joan, sisters Marion and Margaret as well as brothers William, Alex, Walter, Andrew and Albert.
Her funeral was held from St. Maria Goretti Church, Lorne Friday October 5, 2007, officiated by Father David Ferguson. Pallbearers were Albert Chamberlain, Gerald Chamberlain, Kenny LaPointe, Ian LaPointe, Amy Morais and Russ Howell. Harold V. Upton
Harold V. Upton of Corbeil, ON passed away peacefully on October 3, 2007, at the North Bay General Hospital at the age of 75, with beloved Claudette at his side. Born in Campbellton, NB, on August 27, 1932, he was the oldest son of the late Louis Upton and the late Margaret (Butler) Upton. Harold is survived by his sons David (Constance) of Kingsport, NS, Kelly (Brenda) of Coldbrook, NS and Peter of Vancouver, BC as well as his 3 daughters Ellen Hendrix of Kingsport, NS, Anne (Cam) Taylor of Edmonton, AB and Jennifer (Craig) Weiss of Port Moody, BC. He also leaves to mourn his brothers Bill (June) of Ottawa, ON, Allan (Irene) of Halifax, NS and sisters Sheila (Wayne) Hill and Doreen (Gerald) Haley both of Fredericton, NB, as well as 11 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
His memorial mass will be held at St. Alphonces Roman Catholic Church in Callander, ON on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 10:30 am with a Royal Canadian Legion Service to follow at 12 noon.

Lloyd Ward
The death of Lloyd Ward of Seaside occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, Tuesday, October 2, 2007, at the age of 90. Born in Seaside, he was the son of the late Alpheus Ward and Ella (Hamilton).
He was pre-deceased by his wife Hilda, and brothers Hartley, Melvin, Vaughan, Murray and Allison. Lloyd is survived by his daughter Eileen Leslie (Chuck) of Charlo, son Ronnie (Heather) of Belledune, 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, sister Vivian MacMillan and brother Vernon.
His funeral was held from Bethel United Church, Nash Creek Saturday October 6, 2007, officiated by Rev. Don Fairweather with burial in New Mills. Pallbearers were Jason Ward, Derek Leslie, Steve Simard, Eric Cook, Gerald MacMillan and Steven Ward. Honorary pallbearers were Finley Cook, Arthur Hamilton, Allison Blake, James Scott, Rod MacAllister, Ruth Doucet and Marlene LaPointe. Steven Alexander Hoar
Hoar, Steven Alexander of Pefferlaw, ON (formerly of Broadlands, QC) born on November 6, 1940, passed away on October 7, 2007, in Uxbridge Cottage Hospital, ON.
Predeceased by his parents Hannibal & Ida (Furlotte) Hoar, his sisters Lois Fisher and Fern Collis. Survived by his wife and life long friend Ona Irvine, son Brent (Sue) of Lindsay, ON and daughter Tanya (Bill) of Pefferlaw, ON. Loving grandfather to Dayle, Alison, Andrew, Crystal, Brent, Zachary, Keelan and Bailey. Survived by sisters Avis Cole, Dorothy (Red) Everett, Mary (Bob) Stokes and Carrol (Ian) Mann; brothers Vernon (Judy) and Hollis (Linda). Steven will be sadly missed by family and friends.
Wayne Lapointe
The death of Wayne LaPointe of Nash Creek occurred suddenly at Rexton, NB, at the age of 54. Born in Nash Creek, he was the son of Rosella (Hickey) and the late John H. LaPointe.
He is survived by his wife Kim Doyle, mother Rosella, brothers Vone (Elva) of Benjamin, Gabriel (Marie) of Jacquet River, Wade (Jeanet) of Nash Creek, Adrien of Toronto, Russell (Cheryl) of Moncton, sisters Blanche LaPointe of Black Point, Mary Ann Bernard of Jacquet River, Lisa LaPointe (Preston) of Moncton, Donna LaPointe (Claude) of Lorne, Bernadette LaPointe of Moncton, Rose Ann LaPointe of Bathurst.
