Antoinette (Leger) Gignac
The death of Antoinette (Leger) Gignac, wife of the late Louis Gignac, resident of the Campbellton Nursing Home, occurred at the nursing home on October 28, 2004.
Born in Memramcook, N.B., on October 2, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Judes Leger and the late Zelica Leger. Antoinette was a retired teacher, member of Les Dames d'Acadie, New Brunswick Cancer Society and New Brunswick Retired Teacher's Association.
She was predeceased by her parents Judes and Zelica Leger; her husband Louis Gignac; sister Laura Leger; and brothers Bishop Leonard Leger, Alderic Leger and Hector Leger.
Catherine MacMillan
The death of Catherine Melissa MacMillan occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on October 18, 2004.
She was born on October 27, 1919, daughter of the late William Thomas Cook and Anna Bella Grace (Miller) Cook and wife of the late J.F.B. (Jack) MacMillan. She was also predeceased by her brother Robert Samuel Cook and her stepson James D.A. MacMillan.
Catherine is survived by her three nieces Barbara Coleman of Ottawa, Charlotte Sherrard of Campbellton and Patricia Legacy-Babin of Dalhousie.
Catherine worked for the International Paper-Woodlands Division for many years. She was a member of the First United Church and a past member of the I.O.D.E.
Pearl Kyer
At the Cornwall Community Hospital, Second Street Site on Friday, October 15, 2004, with her children and family by her side. The former Catherine Pearl Allard of 18 Elm Street, Cornwall. Beloved wife of the late Urban Kyer. Dear mother of Pat Kyer (Loree) of Cornwall and Karen (Mrs. Bruce Warmbold) of Charlotte, North Carolina. Loving grandmother of Kristin and Michael. Dear daughter of the late Auguste Allard and the late Sara Murphy. Dear sister of Joseph Allard (Phyllis) of Charlo, James Allard (Iva) of Ottawa and Camille Allard (Eileen) of Calgary, Alberta. Predeceased by four brothers, Wilson, Wilbert, Alfred and Norman Allard and by two sisters, Mrs. Annie Babin and Mrs. Leona Gagne.
Gerald Furlotte
The death of Gerald Furlotte of Jacquet River, husband of Ernestine (Lapointe), occurred Sunday, October 24, 2004, at St Joseph Hospital in Dalhousie at the age of 70.
Born in Jacquet River, he was the son of the late Chester Furlotte and Irene Doyle.
He served as a peacekeeper in Korea and held various executive positions in the Jacquet River Legion.
He is survived by his wife Ernestine; mother Irene; sons Donald and Larry; brothers Vincent, Alvin and John; as well as his sister Carole.
He was predeceased by a son Donald; his father Chester; brother Douglas; and a sister Ann.
Emile Pitre
The death of Emile Pitre of Armstrong, husband of Myrtle, occurred on Octobe 25, 2004, at the Bathurst Regional Hospital at the age of 77.
Born in Belledune, he was the son of the late Mike Pitre and the late Clara Guitard.
He is survived by his wife Myrtle; brothers Andrew (Doreen) of Brantford, Ontario and Ronald (Suzanne) of Armstrong; sisters atherine (James) LaPointe of Seaside, Lorinda (Lloyd) DesRoches of Riverview, NB., and Beatrice Pitre of Jacquet River.
He was predeceased by two brothers Richard and Mike.
