- Age 67. Passed peacefully away on November 5, 2004, at the Cottage Hospice in Vancouver, after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his longtime friend and partner Ray, his beloved parents, Jack and Vivian Sheridan, and his brothers John, Michael, and James. Thought of and often mentioned his daughter Dianne. Will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, Margaret and her husband Allan Cooling of Dawsonville, N.B., Richard of Penticton, B.C., his twin Dianne and her husband Robert Sweet of Bracebridge, Dean and his wife Jeanette, Ann and her husband Jacques Vallee, and Gerry and his wife Lucille, all of Penetanguishene. Will be fondly remembered by his several nieces, nephews and friends, his devoted friend and caregiver Allan, his special nurse "Cidlo" and the many devoted friends and caregivers that helped him during his battle with cancer. A Mass will be held in his memory on Thursday, November 18th at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Ann's Catholic Church in Penetanguishene. David requested that donations be given to the "Cottage Hospice" at 650 North Penticton Street, Vancouver, B.C. V5K 3L8 or to the Cancer Society.
