Agnes Velda Goudreau
On Thursday, November 23, 2006, Agnes Goudreau, wife of the late Edward Goudreau passed away after a lengthy illness at the age of 81. Daughter of the late Edgar and Gertrude Dube.
She is survived by her children, Wayne (Geraldine) Goudreau, Brian (Jane) Goudreau, Terry (Sandra) Goudreau, Mark (Darlene) Goudreau and Patricia Lynn (Ernest) Radcliffe; grandchildren, Lisa, Jamie, Melissa, Joel, Scott, Michael, Sarah, Jessica and Kaylee; great grandchildren, Alisha, Sabrina, Miranda, Kaiden, Robin and Ryan. Agnes is also survived by brothers Gerald, Richard and Frank Dube; sisters, Theresa Arsenault, Geralda Comeau, Delima Larocque, Frances Doucet and Susan Savoie. She was predeceased by brother Jean Paul Dube, infant brother Wilbrod and infant sister Anna.
Her greatest joy came from having her grandchildren and great grandchildren around her and spending time in Campbellton with her family. She will always be remembered for her thoughtfulness and kindness towards others.
Resting at Castle Funeral Homes "Fallsview Chapel", 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John (634-1701). Visitation will be held will be held on Saturday Nov. 25 from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 26 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, Nov. 27 at Our Lady Of Assumption Catholic Church, interment to follow in Cedar Hill Ext. Cemetery. Alexander John Adams
ADAMS, ALEXANDER JOHN At the Campbellton Regional Hospital on November 19, 2006, Alexander John Adams (Alec) of Matapedia, P.Q passed away peacefully. Born in Matapedia on April 09, 1917, he was a son of the late William and Violet (Carmichael) Adams. Known to all in the community as "Alec" he was a farmer, woodsman, and a skilled and well known river guide and camp manager throughout his entire life until his retirement in 1992. Besides his wife Colleen, he is survived by two daughters, Alex-Ann of Montreal and Shanon of Matapedia., two brothers, Arnold of Matapedia and Cameron of Campbellton, N.B. as well as several nieces and nephews. Alec was predeceased by his brother Ronald and sisters, Veda, Nancy, and Mertice and nephew Bruce. Visitation was held at Maher's Funeral Home on Monday, November 20 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service was held on, November 21, 2006 at 2:00 pm from Maher's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wendell Gregan officiating. Hymns sung were Mansion over the Hilltop, The Lord is my Shepherd, and Shall we Gather at the River. A eulogy prepared by his nephew Bill was read by Faye MacNaughton and Alec's daughters paid a touching tribute to their father. Active pallbearers included three nephews Keith Adams, Bill Adams and Charles Adams, as well as Vimy Lyons, Carl Adams, and Morton Haley. Honorary pallbearers were Bill Falle, Doug Sharpe, Clifford Blacqueiere, Andre Beaulieu, Garth Fitzgerald, Bernie Mill, Jean D'Amour, Carl Haley, Percy Haley, and Allan Moores. Interment will be at Matapedia at a later date. This kind and gentle man will be forever loved and missed by his family and friends.

Bruno LeBlanc
LeBlanc, Bruno James - On Monday November 20, 2006 Bruno passed away suddenly at his home at the age of 36. Loving husband and best friend of Jennifer (nee Trapasso) and devoted father of Nicolas James. Also very special to Joclyn and Makayla. Loving grandson of Doreen Lagace (Ma Mere). Dear brother of Wayne, Denis, the late Michael, Gordon and Joan. Loving son-in-law to Mary and Chris and Mario and Judy. Special brother-in-law to Domenic (Patrizia), Nadia (Tony) and Mario. He will also be sadly missed by his many friends, especially Justin Laviolette and Craig McLean and by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Bruno was predeceased by his parents Gordon and Mathilda LeBlanc. Bruno will be fondly remembered for bringing the Niagara Falls Falcons Senior Men's Baseball League to Niagara Falls and as an avid Habs fan and he also enjoyed playing hockey.
Friends may call at the MORSE & SON CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES, 5917 Main Street on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday from 11-1. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 1 o'clock. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. In memory of Bruno, in lieu of flowers those who wish may make a memorial contribution at the funeral home to an Education Fund for Nicolas.

Maurilla Furlotte
The death of Maurilla Furlotte of Petit Rocher occured Sunday Nov.19,2006 at the age of 62.Born in Jacquet River,she was the daughter of Priscilla(Guitard) & the late Jules Levesque.
She is survived by her husband Emile,son Maurice(Denise)of Angus Ont.Daughters Nancy Gillis(Dave) of Barrie Ont.Wendy Donnelly(David)of Owen Sound Ont.and 6 grandchildren.She is also survived by her brothers-Marcel,Clement,Jerry and Patrick as well as sisters Genevieve Guitard,Veronica Furlotte,Marie Guitard,Brenda Turnball, Darlene Levesque and several neices and nephews.She was predeceased by her father Jules & a sister Sheila.
Her funeral was held on Thursday Nov.23 from St.Gabriels Church,Jacquet River officated by Father David Ferguson.

William (Bill) Bulmer
Bulmer, William (Bill) Stevens - husband of the late Johanne Miles Bulmer (2005) occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on November 19, 2006 at the age 78.
Born in Flatlands, NB on August 29, 1928, he was the oldest son of the late William and Alma (Downs) Bulmer.
Bill was a Mechanical Superintendent for Fraser Company until his retirement in 1985. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Campbellton, a member of the Masonic Lodge #32 F & M, North Shore Shriners Club, Luxor Temple, Shriners North Amercia Tampa Florida and Scottish Rites 32 degree.
Surviving are his 3 daughters, Catherine (John) Gilmore, Fredericton, Nancy (Terry) Wilbur, Bathurst and Joni (Bruce) Dickie, Campbellton. Grandchildren Dawne (Steve) Leger, Jennifer and Kelly Gilmore, Tara (Dale) Thibodeau, Ryan Wilbur, Alana & Leah Dickie, great grandchildren Emme and Billy Leger as well as several nieces and nephews.
Predeceasing him were his brothers George and Orville, half brothers Edwin, Ellis and half sister Rhona Bulmer.
The funeral was held at Maher's Funeral Chapel on November 22, 2006, officiated by Rev. Douglas Phillips, with interment in the Flatlands Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were David Lefurgey, Lynn Mann, Murdock Mann, Walter Gray, Clayton Allison and Jim Targett. Scripture reading Psalm 23. Soloist Bruce Dickie "I Come To The Garden", special music "Shall We Gather At The River", "When The Roll Is Called Up Wonder". Funeral arrangements in the care of Maher's Funeral Home. "Each life is a miracle that changes the world… And leaves it a better place then it was before."
Yvette Garvie Bourdage
President of Chaleur Echoes mourned
Bourdage Garvie Yvette 59. The death of Yvette Bourdage Garvie occurred suddenly while visiting her son in Quebec City on Sunday November 26th, 2006. Born in Dalhousie, N.B. she was the daughter of the late Martin Bourdage and the late Géraldine Godin. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years Chester and three children Steve (Marie Anne) of Quebec City, Gail (Mark Roherty) of Belledune and Kim (Ian Frenette) of Charlo as well as seven grandchildren: Kimberley, Cassidy, Maxime, Mackenzie, Bailey, Morgan and Logan. Three sisters Huguette Laviolette Beresford, Claudette (Réginald) Savoie Eel River Crossing, Ginette (Yvan) Bernard Campbellton and Danny Bourdage Eel River as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Yvette was predeceased by her brother Frankie and her sister Grace.
Yvette was president of the Chaleur Echos, and was a member of a dance group. She attended church on a regular basis and enjoyed reading the lectures. She was a Golden Age Club member. She was also an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion which made her father very proud. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren who will miss her greatly.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Yvette's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
Yvette has left an impression on everyone's life. She excelled in everything she did and enjoyed giving of herself to others. Words cannot express how immensely she will be missed. She was the wind beneath our wings.
